Emily's POV

I was preparing to go to school and hopefully see Heather if she's alright. It's Math class with Mr. Boreden, the class she hated the most. It was rollcall and it was at the bottom of the list already.

"Heather Ariel Williams?" he asked out and her seat was empty. Was she sick?
Then, I heard the most unexpected thing.

"Oh, right... She's moving to another region..." he said lowly, but I heard it clearly.

"What?!" I yelled out, at the same time as Christopher and we looked at each in shock. "What you mean?!"

"You didn't hear from your friend?" he asked confused. "Yeah, she's moving... She's leaving today I believe..."

"Oh my god... She didn't say anything to us...." I cried out and started to sniffle onto my table. Christopher held my hand and cuddled with me, feeling sad as well. "W-Why...?" I asked so devastated.

"W-Wait... Where's Russell Bryn Steele?" Mr. Boreden asked afterwards and we noticed he was not there as well.

"How about he doesn't know about it? He's going to be the worst!" I cried out onto Christopher's chest. He frowned softly and held me tightly. "She should've told him... I know..."

"I hope..." I said sadly and sniffled more.

Russell's POV

"I'm skipping school today!" I announced to my parents, even if I knew they wouldn't care much about me anyway. I needed some answers! Out of nowhere, she announced to me like that and hung up on me!

Flashback:

"W-What you mean?!" I asked, frustrated and angry towards her on the phone.

"Russell, I'm sorry... But this is the only way I can solve my problem... I'm very sorry..." she replied to me, crying more then I was.

"Y-You can't! I love you, you can't leave me like this!"

"Bryn... Please, don't make this harder for me..." Heather told me and her voice croaked more. "I-I have to go... Goodbye..." she said and hung up on me.

I let go of my phone and started to to cuddle my pillow and buried my face onto it, muffling my cries onto it.

"I'm in a nightmare... Wake up, Russell!" I cried out and denied the fact it's true. And... Nothing happened...

End of Flashback

I need to talk to her before she leaves. So, I went straight to her house and checked if her family and Emilia were still there. When I arrived, the paparazzis were still circling around the house.

"They're gone?!" one of them yelled out.

"You didn't hear? They're going on a private jet to leave! We couldn't get anything, since it's tight on security!"

"Where is it?"

"Somewhere close to the airport... We can't go in..."

Hearing that, I got ahold of my bike and started peddling as fast as I could. I don't care if my legs will hurt like hell tomorrow. I don't care if it's a long way to go. I only care for her, since she's the only person that's made my life better. I don't want to let her go, I have never wanted to, since I love her so much.

Please stay a bit longer there for me... Please, I beg of you...

Heather's POV

We got out of the limousine as my father, mother, Emilia, Hugo and I got close to the private jet, then stopped a bit. "We don't have time for this—"

"You don't give me the chance to say a proper goodbye to anyone! You selfish prick!"

"Hey! Watch your mouth, young lady!" my mother replied. "We agreed that you will respect our final decision!"

I growled lowly and cried a bit. "You don't know how horrible I feel... I'm leaving my friends and the person that I truly love! It's all I've ever wanted and you're taking it all away from me now!"

"We understand how you feel, we feel guilty as well. But, if we want peace, this is the only way," my father explained.

"Are we leaving soon?" I asked, not wanting to.

"I have to make a few calls and we're off," he replied and took out his phone.

I sighed deeply in relief and looked at Uncle H and Emilia. "You guys will stay here?" I asked. They nodded in response and said they will for a small while, until Uncle H will go back to his house in London with her. Emilia's taking a break, so she will spend it with him.

I understood and watched everything pass by. Cars... People... My happy life...

Christopher's POV

Emily wouldn't stop crying in first period, so Mr. Boreden made her get out of the class to calm down, while I helped her.

"We have to say goodbye! We're her friends!" she exclaimed.

"I know, but... We can't skip!" I replied to her with a frown. "Watch me!" she then ran off outside. "You don't even know where she is!" I yelled.

"Guys! Heather's gone?!" a familiar voice asked, Alex. "Y-Yeah..." I replied sadly. "Russell is not here, we assume that he skipped to see her."

"We have to check on her as well!" Alex suggested to me. "School can wait! We don't want to give her a bad last impression of us, do you?"

I shook my head as I was now skipping school for the first time in forever.

"Guys!" Emily yelled to us with her phone waving in the air. "He texted me the location, let's go!"

I looked at Alex and we nodded in agreement. "What about Krystal?"

"I'll get her, go ahead!" Alex replied, rushing inside the school. "Text me the area!"

I smiled happily and grabbed my girlfriend's hand. "I'll pay for the taxi."

Heather's POV

I looked out, waiting for something to happen so I can stay... This isn't a fairy tail, where everything is suppose to be jolly, what am I thinking? I sighed softly when I noticed a familiar bike. Heather, it's just an illusion! It's not really there, just stop...

Then...

"HEATHER!"

I looked carefully again at the familiar bike and the face became clear. I then two more callings of my name.

My friends and Russell.

Russell's POV

I got off my bike and started running up the stairs to the VIP jet landing on the rooftop. There was too many staircases, but in this moment, it meant nothing to me. All that matters is the person on that very rooftop.

"Ariel!!" I called her name loudly, so that she will know of my arrival. She walked to the end of the last staircase, waiting. "Russell!" she called back. I saw her and the last flight of stairs. I ran up as fast as I could, wanting to show how much I love her. Almost there, I held out my hand for her to hold. I suddenly felt gentle fingertips, but the feeling left as soon as one of her bodyguards took her away.

"Time to go, Miss Williams. Your father is finished making calls."

She gritted her teeth and tried escaping from his grip. "Let me go! I have the right to—"

"You don't, Miss. Your father's orders."

"Hey!" I yelled back to him. " You have to listen to—"

"You have to leave. You're in a restricted area!" her father cut me off and backed the distance between Heather and I. Instead of listening, I put on a fight. I tried gong through all of them, but her father got ahold of me. "Bring her in!" he yelled to the bodyguards and they started bringing her in with full force, nothing stopping them.

"You can't do this to me!" Heather yelled out, starting to cry once again. It hurts a lot to see someone you love in such sadness and despair. Looking hopeless, even if I try my best to give a bit of hope with a hug or a small kiss of love and support.

But, I can't.

"Enough!" a woman's voice yelled out and it got quiet again. "Richard, give them a moment," her mother said with a frown on her face. "You're making her suffer, don't you see?"

He sighed deeply and made the guards let us go. "Two minutes. That's all I'm giving you."

We both looked at each other with a huge grin on our faces. Once we're released from their grip, we instantly rush into each other and went for one of the most strongest and loving embraces. I rubbed her back for comfort and softly pecked her forehead gently.

"I-I'm sorry it has to be this way..." she started off and looked up at me with tears eyes. "I'm the worst, I know..." I frowned softly cupped her cheek, wiping her tears gently.

"It's not your fault, Ariel..."

"I feel like it us. If u made better decisions maybe, we'd probably be happier..." she said and snuggled against my chest. I bit my lip to hold back the tears and I gently pecked her forehead. "I know it's goodbye between us, but remember... Goodbyes aren't always forever," I said and gave her a soft smile to cheer her up just a bit, even if my heart is already shattering little by little. I have to show her to be strong, that's all I can do right now.

Heather cracked a small smile and let out a small giggle. Two of the most beautiful things in my life and the reasons I continue to be strong are her.

"I love you my little mermaid," I said and chuckled softly, leaning my forehead against her's.

Heather sighed softly and cupped my cheek with her hand, smiling. "I love you too..." I leaned in slowly to kiss her, but the time had already expired. Guards started to approach and took ahold of her again, but less aggressively. Before she entered, she looked back at me with a nod. I smiled back and gave her one as well. Heather finally entered and the started getting ready for takeoff.

Christopher's POV

Emily and I got off the taxi cab as I payed the driver. It seemed like Alex and Krystal won't be able to say goodbye. The jet looked like it'd fly away second, so we both rushed to the top of the stairs. As we arrived, the jet flew off the landing zone

We were too late.

Emily sighed in disappointment that we didn't make it in time. "Stupid traffic..." she muttered and we focused on Russell, the person that must be hurt the most. We saw him stand there, watching the jet fly through the sky.

I approached him and placed my hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay?" I asked softly. "Y-Yeah, I-I'm fine... I-It's for the best..." he said softly, but I felt that there was something wrong. I tried to make him face me, but he didn't want to. Emily made him after a small while and his face was starting to look bad. Tears in the corners of his eyes, ready to have a breakdown. He kept biting on his lower lip, holding it all in.

"You've been strong enough for her..." Emily said to him. "We won't judge."

He looked down on the ground in silence. Eventually, we heard him sniffle, then... Fell to his knees and cried hardly. This is the first time I've seen him like this...

"I don't w-want her to l-leave..." he mumbled and whimpered, shaking. "All of us don't want her to," Emily replied and knelt down to him. He tugged on the relationship bracelet a bit too hard as it unlocked accidentally and fell through the platform's hole design. Russell tried to retrieve it, but his reflexes weren't fast enough.

His eyes widened and quickly rushed down the stairs to find it. We followed and hoped nothing bad had happened to it. Where we were standing was really high, so it was a high chance that it's ruined.

As we arrived, we saw him placing something against his chest. I approached him to check what he's holding so dearly. Then, we realized that the relationship bracket had broken in two. "Russell... Maybe we can fix it—"
He started to clench his fist and gritted his teeth, as tears kept going down.

"What's the point?" She left me... What's the point of keeping something that isn't real anymore?" he asked as he shoved the pieces into his pocket. "You guys can go, I need to be alone."

~

As the lovers left, Russell started walking off the platform as well and started heading off to a destination. As he arrived, he placed the broken pieces of the bracelet on the counter.

"Hey! That's a nice piece you got. The steel is still in good condition and the design of the jewelry is gorgeous! That must sell at least a thousand—"

"I-I want this fixed. You think you can do it by today?"
