Next day.

Avni got discharged from the hospital. Doctor asked her to take rest...but she refused as she wants to search her daughter. Neil insisted her to stay at home and dont go out....but she wants to assist him in searching suhana. She requested him to allow her to be with him.

Avni : Neil...Neil please mujhe bhi apne saath aane do....main suhana ko dhundna chahti hu tumhare saath..

Neil : Avni....I can't allow you...you are already weak. Do tor asked you to rest...

Avni held his hands and requested with tears in her eyes "Neil...tum nhi samajh skte...main ek maa hu...or apni beti ke bina...main kya krungi....Mujhe usse dhundna hai....use dekhna hai...sahi salamat...please neil.....

Neil looks in her eyes...and he cant argue with her more. He nodded and they both left in search for suhana.

Neil traced the number from which Kabir called Avni. And thankfully they found the his location.

They both went in Neil's jeep to the location where Kabir has kept suhana.

The drive was silent....as avni was looking outside and praying for suhana's well being. While Neil was busy in driving.

Neil looked at Avni....and kept adoring at her.

Avni looked at him and he suddenly changed his gaze.

Neil looked outside and then kept driving silently.

But.....after few minutes, Neil stoppedthe jeep with a jerk. Avni gets shocked.

Avni : Neil...kya..kya hua...?

Neil moves out of jeep, followed by Avni.....and neil check the Jeep's bonnet.

Neil banged his fist on it " Dammit..."

Avni (confused) : Kya hua...Kuch bologe ?

Neil : Av..Avni....Jeep me kuch problem aa gyi....Hume mechanic dhundna hoga...

Avni : What...?

Neil : I am sorry....but dont worry...Main kuch krta hu.

He asked the people around about the nearby mechanic.

But it was a village area and there was no mechanic in nearby locality.

They both went inside the village and kept asking people.

Evening

Avni ( stressed) : Yha..yha to koi mechanic nhi mila....ab...ab hum kya krenge....Suhana...meri bachi....pta nhi kaisi hogi....kis haal me hogi....

Neil held her shoulders and consoled her

Neil (consoled her) : Shh...Avni relax....sab tgeek ho jayega...Hum dhund lenge suhana ko...

Avni jerkes off his hands "Leave me neil....Tumhare liye ye choti si baat hogi.....ek case hoga....But mere liye...Mere liye ye meri life hai neil...Main ek pal bhi chain se nhi baith sakti.....Par tum...tum nhi samjhoge...."

Her eyes were full of pain. The pain of being alone....The pain of losing her daughter.

Neil understands her pain and instead of getting hurt by her words.....he tried to console her.

He wants to reduce her pain.

Neil : Avni....Avni suno meri baat...he cupped her face and made her look into his eyes.

Neil (looking in her eyes) : Avni...hum dhund lenge use....maana ki tum uski maa ho....uski fikr hai tumhe. Lekin.....lekin main bhi yha khali nhi baitha.....puri koshish kr rha hu.....Or tumhare saath hu...To tum kyu hmesha....hmesha pareshan rehti hu....itni dari hui rehti ho....KYU ITNA DARD HAI TUMHARI AANKHO ME..

Avni looked in his eyes deeply. And cried...

Suddenly all her past flashes in her mind.

She couldnt help and just hugged neil.

Neil gets a sudden shock...as she just hugged him, out of flowing emotions that she could not control. Neil just let her...as he knew she needs it.

She is fed up with her life now. She want someone to hold her. She want someone to wipe her tears.

Avni just cried in neil's embrace.

After few minutes...she broke the hug and wiped her tears. She was unable to look in neil's eyes...so she looked down.

Neil sighed and cupped her face. He softly wiped her remaining tears.

She just looked in his eyes...and there was silence between them.

Neil broke the silence and asked

Neil : Avni....its okay.....If u want to share something..you can. Or zindagi se itni nafrat mat kro Avni....Ye bura waqt deti hai....Lekin...khushiya bhi deti hai....he said

Avni listened his words patiently. Her heart wants to trust neil..and share her feelings with him...but her mind refuses.

Neil insisted again...and then Avni finally gave in...and told him everything about her past.

They sat in the nearby tea stall....where Avni told him everthing about her past. About her identity of being illegitimate....about kabir...about her failed marriage...about her mother's death...and how she met her daughter.

Avni : And that's how...after 3 years I met suhana.....(she smiles)....She is my piece...My part...My love......My whole life revolves around her only.

Jabse maa gayi hai...tabse sirf suhana hi meri jeene ki wajah hai....Vrna jeena to main kabka bhul gayi thi...

Neil listened her story patiently. And he got all his answers. He finally get to know why her heart is full of pain. And her eyes are always wet.

Avni continued

Avni : Kabir ne mera dil toda tha....or Abhimanyu ne mera bharosa.

Maine jisse bhi pyaar kiya....un sabne mujhe thukra diya.....kabhi mujhe smjhne ki koshish nhi ki.....Tabse...mera pyaar par se vishwas uth gaya.

Neil : Lekin is duniya me sab un dono jaise nhi hai Avni. Or ye duniya un sab se kaafi aage hai...

Bas ek baar....ek baar khudko aazad kr do....Fir dekhna...tumhari raah me sirf khushiya hongi.....sirf khushiyaa...

Avni looked in his eyes.

Neil : Ha Avni....Apne saare dukh..saare dard...saari takleefe....ek box me kaid krke...kahi dur phenk do.....Or sirf duniya ko ache nazariye se dekho. Fir dekhna.....Khudko ek mauka or deke dekho....he said

Avni was lost in his words. She was somehow feeling connected to Neil.

Suddenly her phone rings. She panicked

Avni : N..n..neil...ye...ye vahi call....kabir....

Neil : Wait....Mujhe do..main baat krta hu.

They both stood up....and neil picked up the call.

Neil : Hello.....Listen Mr Kabir.. Agar suhana ko ek kharoch bhi aayi....i will not leave you..... just wait and watch.

Kabir : Ooohh.....I am scared. Listen tum jo bhi ho.....Avni or mere matter  se dur rho...or tumhe kyu suhana ki fikr ho rhi hai...Main uska baap hu....Mujhe pura haq hai us par...samjhe tum...

Neil : Apne aap ko baap kehte ho....or ek bachi to uski hi maa se dur krte ho. Baap hote....to apne hi bache ko chdd ke naa jaate.

Kabir listens and fumes in anger. He cuts the call.

Neil : Avni...dont worry. Hume use trace kr liya hai. Ab hum jald hi us tak pahuch jayenge.

Neil got his jeep repaired and then they both headed to the location.

They entered the house....and the moment avni entered...she starts calling suhana.

Avni (crying) : Suhana....Suhana...suhaannn....

Neil (fuming in anger) : Kabir....Kabir kaha ho tum.

After few minutes...Kabir came out.

Kabir : Avni....what a  surprise.

Kabir was approaching towards Avni....but neil came in front of her and Kabir stopped there.

Neil : SUHANA KAHA HAI....

Kabir : To vo tum the....jo phone pe mujhe thanki de rhe the...It was you right.

Neil : Yes....Acp Neil Khanna. Or Agar 2 minute me suhana yha nhi aayi....to tum jail me honge.

Kabir got a little scared.....but never want to lose.

Kabir : O really....Or tum kis basis pe mujhe jail me daloge haa.....APNI HI BETI KO APNE GHAR LAANA, konsa crime hota hai...Acp Neil Khanna.

Neil : Crimes ki knowledge tum mujhe na do to better hai....Just bring Suhana right now.

Kabir smiled. He called someone and ask him to bring suhana.

After few minutes....suhana came crying....and the moment she saw Avni....she smiled...."Mummaa..."

Avni listen her voice and brimmed in happiness....."Suhana...."

Suhana : mumma....

Avni : Meri bachii....she ran towards her

They both ran towards each other....and avni picked her up and hugged her tightly.

She kissed her face and hugged her very tightly.

Suhana was crying....and Avni wiped her tears...and kissed her cheeks.

while neil was happy seeing suhana and Avni's bond.

Kabir came in his devil mode and immediately pulls out a gun.

Kabir : Chlo acha hi hua tum aa gyi Avni.....ab apni beti ko ek aakhri baar dekh skti ho....kyunki aaj ke baad vo tumhe kabhi bhi dikhegi.....he pointed a gun towards suhana.

Avni widened her eyes in shock seeing a gun in his hands. She covered suhana in her arms....and hid her face into her chest.

Avni starts panicking...

Neil got shock and tried to stop him

Neil :  Kabir gun niche rkho....I said leave that gun....

Kabir : Nhi Acp...

Neil : ye kya pagalpan hai....Kyu maarna chahte ho tum use.....Aakhir kya bigada hai usne tumhara....vo ek bachi hai kabir.....

Kabir : Uska gunah yahi hai ki vo ek bachhi hai........ek najayaz bachi..

MERI NAJAYAS AULAAD....(he fumes in anger).....or main nhi chahta ki vo iss duniya me rhe...

Avni was unable to speak anything....She just held suhana tightly and covered her with her arms.

Kabir : Avni just leave her.....

Avni held her more tightly

Neil : Kabir gun neeche kro.....

Kabir was fuming in anger...

And withing secinds he hit the gun

to everyones shock.

Avni closed her eyes tightly..
