At Night

Avni gave medicines to neil, and made sure he has everything beside him for his comfart.

Avni : Maine sab tumhare paas rakh diya hai neil...taaki tumhe kisi cheez ke liye uthna na pade....Water bottle...your medicines...phone charger....sab hai yaha, Do you need anything else...?

neil shaked his head...while he was just adoring her and was lost in his thoughts.

Avni - Please take good rest neil...and main side wale room me hu...agar kuch bhi chahiye ho toh mujhe bta dena...do not hesitate.....she said while neil was just looking at her and adoring her caring nature.

After Avni left, Neil layed down on his bed , but sleep was far away from his eyes.

He kept changing his position but was unable to sleep. As his mind was busy. His mind was lost in the thoughts of avni.

Neil was reminscing the day he saw avni....the day she cried for suhana....her eyes...her tears....everything was revolving in neil's mind.

The way she longed for suhana...the way she was protecting suhana from kabir.....
The way she cried when neil got the bullet...The way she is caring for him now...Everything was running in his mind, and he was unable to understand this feeling that is disturbing his mind.

While on the other hand, Avni was in her room, layed next to suhana.

Suhana was sleeping peacefully while avni was just adoring her daughter, caressing her hairs softly.

She reminsces how she had almost lost suhana....how she met neil....how he helped her to get suhana back.....how he promised and fulfilled his promisw....how he got himself hurt in an attempt to save them from kabir's evil intentions.

And how finally her daughter is safe and sound, sleeping in peace next to her.

She cannot Thank neil enough for bringing her daughter back and protecting her from kabir, as the mere thought of losing suhana was scaring her to the core.

She carressed suhana softly and kissed over her forehead.

Avni's pov

I cannot afford to lose you suhana, i cannot !

Meri saansein sirf tumse hai bachaa....or agar tumhe kuch ho gaya toh main jee nahi paungi.

Main kabir ko tumhare paas bhi nahi aane dungi....he cannot take my daughter away from me.

I will do anything for you bacha....anything.

Tumhe koi chot nahi pahucha sakta...koi nahi....mumma hamesha aapko protect kregi....!

she kissed her face and snuggled close to her.

Soon she dozed off to sleep

After two hours

There was silence all around. Neil was also sleeping in his room and Avni & suhana were also fast asleep.

But suddenly, there was a shadow seen in the garden.

Someone manages to enter avni's room through the window. He was wearing a black jacket and his face was all covered.

He neared himself to avni and looked at her sleeping. And then he looked at suhana, while his eyes were full of anger and frustration.

"You destroyed my life....Tumne meri puri life spoil kar di....Mujhe avni se dur kar diya...I will not let you live "

e thought to himself while starring at little suhana.

He tried to pick suhana up, but in this attenpt he disturbed avni's sleep and she opened her eyes.

Her eyes immediately widened to see that man , trying his hands on suhana.

Avni screamed at her best, but before her voice came out, he kept his hand on her mouth, and prevent her from screaming.

Kabir : Shhhhhh.......chilane ki koshish bhi mat karna avni....kyunki main janta hun, ki vo Acp yahi hai....

...or agar tumne zara si bhi awaaz ki....to yaad rakhna....suhana meri bhi beti hai...or usse tumse chheenne me mujhe jyada waqt nahi lgega.....

he warned her with anger filled in his eyes.

(It was Kabir who has came in the middle of night, to take suhana with him )

Avni got scared to the hell. She was unable to react. Her eyes watered and she was shivering in fear and panick.

Avni wanted to shout...to scream...and to call neil....but he didn't let her do that and warned her that if she will shout, he will take suhana away forever.

Avni (scared) : Pl...please a...aisa mat karna.....m...meri.....meri suhana ko m..mujhse mat cheenna.....usse kuch mat karna....p..please...please m...mujhe usse dur mat karna....
her words came shivering

Kabir looked at her helpless state and he was enjoying all this. He gave a wicked smile.....and then he entwingled his hand around her waiste and pulled her to him with a jerk....

Avni got shocked....her eyes widened at his sudden pull.......

Kabir : Thik hai...main suhana ko kuch nahi krunga...
...agar tumm....... he slowly traced his fingers down her face making her feel uncomfartable.

Avni start breathing heavily.....she was panicking and sweating in fear....

Kabir held her waiste even tightly and start tracing his fingers on her bare skin...which discomfarts avni and she immediately pushed him away...

Avni : What are you doing....leave me.... she said in a loud voice while her hands were still shivering in panick

On the other hand, a slight noise falls in neil's ears and his sleep got disturbed.

Kabir, on the other hand got even more angry when avni pushed him away, and he again held avni from her waiste and pained her with his tight grip...

Avni : Ahhhh.....you are hurting me....leaveee meeee......

Kabir : Oh really....toh ab main tumhe hurt kar raha hun....Tum toh aise behave kar rahi ho...jaise ki main kuchh naya kar raha hun....

he again neared himself to her and start misbehaving with her while trying to kiss her face , sliding his lips down her neck

Avni was feeling disgusted and she started crying. She tried to push him away but this time his grip was tighter and she felt helpless.

He was constantly taking advantage of her helplessness and touching her all around in an inappropriate manner.

In the meanwhile, SUDDENLY the door opened and finally NEIL ENTERED to her rescue.....

Without wasting even a single second he immediately took hold of kabir's collars and knocked him down with a hardest punch on his face.

Neil (anger) : HOW DARE YOUUU...... his eyes turned blood red, filled with uncontrollable anger !

Neil again picked him up from his collars and start punching his face again and again....till blood oozes out from his face.

Kabir fell on the ground as he gets dizzy....but neil didn't stopped.....

Neil : You bloody bastard....tumhari himmat kaise hui use chune ki....haath kaise lgaya tumne.....answer me godammit....How dare you touched her without her consent....I will not spare you today......and he continues hitting him till he gets wounded.

Avni was standing still in disbelief and was crying constantly. Her tears didn't stopped and her body was still shivering.....

Suhana : m...mumma......
in the meanwhile suhana was opening her eyes....

Avni panicked hearing her voice and before suhana opens her eyes, she immediately gathered her in her arms and took her out of the room.

She brings suhana in neil's room, layed her safely on the bed and puts her back to sleep, while caressing her head.

(Suhana was in deep sleep so she didnt wake up and slept peacefully again, While avni's tears were not stopping there way out of her eyes, she kept on crying)

On the other hand  neil has called a person from his police station and instructed him to take kabir away and keep him under custody, until his next orders.

Kabir was taken away by that man and neil stood alone in that room.

He start banging his hands on the wall...and kept releasing his anger.

The visuals of what he saw, when he entered the room was haunting him and making him more and more angry.

"How kabir was misbehaving with avni and how avni was crying and feeling so helpless"...all these visuals were flashing in front of his eyes.

While on the other hand suhana has slept, but avni was in deep thoughts and whatever happened today has broken her to the core. She dont know how to face all this now. She dont know what to do next.

After sometime , neil entered the room. He looked at avni from distance and he knows it will be very difficult for avni to even face him now. He knows how she must be feeling right now.

He entered slowly and came to avni....

Avni's eyes got red due to heavy crying. Her face had no expressions.

Neil bend down and sat on his feets in front of her. He try to hold her hands but he stopped himself. He looked up in her eyes....

Neil : Av....Avni....

But before neil could say further....Avni got up from bed and wiped her tears....

Avni - N...neil, raat bohot ho gayi hain.... tum yaha so jao aarya ke paas....main....main apne room me jaati hun....!
she said this to avoid any conversation over whatever happened....

She don't want to talk about it, Or may be she is trying hard not to break down in front of neil.

Neil got up and before he say something avni left to her room.

........

Avni came in her room....and she started crying, standing near the balcony.

She cried reminscing all those touches, all those pulls when kabir made her feel uncomfartable. She got completely shattered and broken.

Neil could not stop himself from following her to the room. He can't see her like this.

Neil entered the room, and watching her crying that badly, his eyes got tears.

He slowly came near her and said....

Neil : Bass kro avni....tum...tum iss tarah bikhar nahi sakti.

Dekho main janta hun ki...ki ye itna aasan nahi hain....lekin please ho sake to bhul jao....bhul jao jo hua...

Kabir ne jo kiya uske liye toh main usse saza dilwake rhunga....lekin tumhe apne aansu uske liye barbaad krne ki koi zarurat nahi hain...he dont deserve your tears Avni.

Avni listened to him, but she didn't turned to face him...

Neil continues...

Neil : Avni you have always been brave....tumne akele apni beti ko sambhala hai...or aise ek aadmi ki vajah se tum kamzor nahi padd sakti.....You....you are much stronger than this Avni!

(His words were giving her strength, she wants to pour her heart out, but she still was feeling shy to face him)

Neil understands her situation.....

Neil - Dekho main...main janta hun avni..... ki...ki tum shayad comfartable feel nahi kar rahi hogi....mujhse ye...ye sab baatein karne ke liye...isiliye main tumhe force bhibnahi krunga.....
....but sirf itna kahunga ki....

And avni could not control anymore.....before he could complete...SHE just turned around and threw herself upon him. She encircling her arms around him and hugged hum tightly, sobbing silently in his embrace.

Neil was taken aback, but he knows that she needed this.

Without saying anything he also encircled his arms around her, and took her in his protective arms.

After whatever happened with her, She needs to feel safe and secure, and for that she needed this warmth from a true gentleman, who can give her the assurity of being protected. Neil gave her that warmth and made her feel safe and secure !
