Chapter Twenty-Three   
                       Lexi's POV
                    ~3 days later~

I sat by Ava holding her hand like I did everyday, trying not to cry more than I already did.

“Peter?”

Pe-”Yes?” He said as he got up, and walked towards me.

“How do we know we can trust Miuna and Manaka...to heal Ava?”

Pe-”Willow trusts them. I think we should give them a chance.”

“Peter, this is my sister's life. What if something goes wrong?”

Pe-”Lexi, we don't know if she'll chose to come back.”

“What if it was your brother? What if it was Parker? You'd just let a complete stranger use their powers on them, when it just might make things worse.”

Pe-”If it was my brother, I would try everything to get him to wake up again. And you should too.”

I looked at Ava, and nodded.

“Can you bring Keda and Kya in here, Please?”

Pe-”Of course.” He said before he walked out of the room.

~A few minutes later~

K-”You wanted to talk to us?”

“Yeah...Do you think Manaka can really wake Ava up?

Ke-”I think there might be a chance…”

K-”Honestly Lexi, and don't think it will wake Ava up. If anything it will just make her feel like she wants to live.”

“Should we at least try?” I said wiping away a tear, making me realize that I was starting to cry.

Ke-”It doesn't hurt to try.” Keda said as she turned to look at Kya.

K-”That's the thing Keda, we don't know that.”

Ke-”I would do it for you. And I know you'd do the same.”

K-”You're right.”

K-”It guess we can try…”

“Thank you.” I said cutting Kya off.”

K-”We can try it once I do some research, if I can't find anything by the end of the day. We won't try it, I don't want to take any risks.”

“I understand.”

K-”I'll go see what I can find.”

                       Kya’s POV

“Miuna, can I talk to you?”

M-”Of course. It's Keda, right?”

“Kya. Keda’s my sister.”

M-”Got it.”

“Can you tell me anything about your sister's life power, or get me some spells book. I don't think anything here will help me since I've heard you're from…”

M-”Another dimension.”

“Yes. And that means you're powers are a bit…”

M-”Different than yours.” She said cutting me off.

“Yes. Are you able to read minds yet?” I ask her.

M-”No, I'm just really good at reading people. We can't start learning new powers until  we're around 15.”

“Really? That's the age we start training to be a Element or Non-Element Trainer.”

M-”Every dimension is different.”

“I guess so.”

I opened my mouth to say something, but she talked before I could.

M-”And yes, I can get you some spell books that have information about my sister's powers.”

“Thank you.” I say as I go to sit down, well I wait for her to get the spell books.

A few minutes later, Miuna walked back in the room holding 6 spell books.

M-”I believe these are all the spell books we own that have information about Manaka’s powers. But I could be wrong, I can look again if you'd like.”

“Don't worry about it, this is fine. Thank you.”

M-”You're welcome. The only problem is most of them are in Japanese, and something tells me you haven't learned it yet.”

“No, I haven't learned it yet. But that's not a problem, I can simply use a translator spell.”

She smiled at me.

M-”Let me know if you find what you're looking for.”

“I will.” I said before she walked into the room they're sharing with Willow, well they're here.

                     ~Time skip~

I started translating the spell books, and noticed all of the had a name in it.

“Miroko, Chisaki, Kaneme, Miuna, Manaka, and Tatum.”

“Must be her family.” I thought as I picked up Manaka’s spell book.

If I want to learn more about her power, might as well start with her spell book.

     ~Time skip to end of the day~

“Lexi?”  I say as I walk in the room.

L-”Did you find anything?”

“Yeah. I don't know if she can wake her, but it will make Ava feel like she wants to survive.”

Lexi nodded, before asking me when we'll start.

“Tomorrow. As for tonight, try to get some sleep.”

L-”Thank you, Kya.”

“You're welcome.”  I said before exiting the room, and going to bed for the night.

Author's Note- I am soooo sorry I haven't updated in forever! I was trying to figure out what to do next, and I recently change my mind, and had to re-write it. I'm working on Chapter 26 now, I'll post what I have. I'm sorry for abandoning this story for such a long time, I've been so busy working on a book for my writing group. This story will be coming to an end soon, I'll probably end it around 30 Chapters with a possible chance for a sequel. I'm sorry for leaving you hanging on a cliffhanger (kind of). Sorry for making you wait, and I don't blame you if you've given up on this story, I'll try not to make you wait much longer for the story to be finished, but I have been VERY busy this summer. Again I'm so sorry, I hope you like the rest chapters I'll post.
