Chapter Twenty-Five
Chapter Twenty-Five
Lexi's POV
I watched as Manaka raised her arms, and a glowing light surrounded Ava.
A couple minutes later, Manaka fell to her knees and tried to catch her breath.
Ma-”I did everything I could. All we can do now is hope.”
Some people were about to leave, before Willow started screaming.
I looked over to see Ava sit up, but her body was still laying down on the bed.
“Her spirit…” I thought as I walked towards “her”.
“Ava?” I asked trying not to cry.
She nodded her head.
A-”I'm sorry Lexi.” She said weakly.
“Why? Y-you're coming back right?”
She shook her head.
A-”I just came to say goodbye.”
“Ava, I can't lose you! You're my baby sister, I love you!”
A-”I'm sorry Lexi, it's too late. But I promise you'll see me again soon.”
I started crying and gave my sister one last hug.
A-”Goodbye, Lexi.”
“Goodbye, Ava.”
We pulled away, and she gently wiped the tears from my eyes. Before fading away.
I fell to my knees and cried uncontrollably. They all came to comfort me, but it didn't matter. Nothing did. My baby sister was gone, forever. My baby sister Ava committed suicide; and this time she succeeded.
And there was nothing we could do…
“If only I paid attention more.” I thought.
“If I cared more. Maybe this wouldn't be happening right now. Our family is broken, and it can know long be fixed. Not now, not ever.”

Keda’s POV
~One week later~
I went into comfort Lexi since we decided it would be best to move Ava's body to a different location well we plan the funeral.
We haven't moved her body yet, because Lexi has refused to leave her side. I can't blame her, I know I would do the same if it was Kya. But it's time.
“Lexi, Are you Ok?”
L-”I should have paid attention, I should have seen the signs, I should have helped her.”
“Lexi there was nothing you could do, there was nothing any of us could do.”
L-”How could I not tell she was in pain, that she was unhappy, that she wanted to die.”
“Sometimes you can't see the signs, sometimes they hide their pain so well that even those closest to them can't tell. Lexi I promise you, this isn't your fault.”
She wiped her tears and stood up, and let me know she was ready for us to take Ava's body.
I went to grab Ava; but the second I touched Ava's arm, her body began to glow, and Ava's body was replaced with a 7 year old girl, who was quietly sleeping on the bed.
“Kya!” I yelled in fear and shock.
L-”What's happening?!”
“I don't know.”
“Kya!” I yelled again trying not to wake the girl.
Kya came running in here, and stopped the second she saw her.
K-”Who is that?!”
“We don't know.”
Kya walked up to the young girl and shook her gently. She stretched her arms and rubbed her eyes as she sat up, then put her arms behind her on the bed for support and looked around the room.
K-”Excuse me, can you tell us your name please?” She said sweetly, trying not to frighten the young girl.
A-”Amelia Hope.” She sleepy.
K-”Hi Amelia. I'm Kya, this is my sister Keda, and this is Lexi.”
A - “You guys look a lot younger, since the last time I saw you.” Amelia said.
“You know us?” I asked.
A-”Of course, you're family.”
L-”Who's your mother?” Lexi asked.
A-”Ava Lani Hope.”
Author's Note- I had one of my friends read the death scene ( Butterfly-Tiger ), who know nothing of the story. And she said she had to stop reading because she almost started crying. I've never written a death scene before, so I was actually pretty happy to hear that.
PLEASE DO NOT HATE ME FOR KILLING OFF AVA AND INTRODUCING A NEW CHARACTER (IN A WEIRD WAY) IT WAS SOMETHING I NEEDED TO DO IF I EVERY DECIDED TO MAKE A SEQUEL!
