Chapter Nineteen
                       Lexi's POV

I was sitting on my bed wondering what element I should learn at the end of the month.

"Should I learn Fire, Sapphire already said she would teach me, but Fire would be kind of destructive, and There’s Earth, that would come in handy, but Keda said that was the hardest one to learn, There’s also Air, but that seems kind of boring, but Keda also said, I need to learn Air before I get my Wings, wow I can't believe I get Wings, that's the hardest thing for me to believe."
I was snapped out of my thoughts, when someone knocked on my door.

"Come in."

                        Ava's POV

"I can't stand them lying to me anymore, I'm going to tell Lexi I know about our Step-Dad, she'll probably try to deny it, but I know it's true."  I thought as I walked outside her door.

I hesitated, before I started knocking.

           ~Knock, Knock, Knock~

L-"Come in." I heard Lexi say from the other side of the door.

I sighed and walked in.

L-"Hi Ava."

"Hi, Lexi, can I ask you something?"

L-"Sure."

"When will you stop lying to me about our Step-Dad?" I said quickly.

L-"What?" She said surprised.

"I know "Dad" doesn't go to work, he robs stores and spends the money on liquor and gambling."

L-"Who...Who told you." She said quietly.

"No One Told Me, I'm Not Blind!" I said raising my voice.

"Why Did You Lie To Me, Instead Of Telling Me The Truth?!"

L-"I Was Trying To Protect You, And It Doesn't Matter Now, Because You Already Knew. Why Didn't You Tell Me, You Knew This Whole Time?!"

"Um, Hello, I Just Did!"

L-"If Your Just Going To Be Sarcastic And Raise Your Voice, Than Leave!" She Yelled, getting upset.

I stood there trying to figure out how to respond, but she interrupted my thoughts.

L-"Now!" She said said trying not to cry.

"Sorry." I said quietly as I left her room.

                  ~In Ava's room~

I locked the door, and grabbed my fake book.

"(Kii) Pahi."  I wispered as I reached my hand in the (fake) book.

I smile when I pulled my hand out and saw my knife. I started running the knife over my hand so I could feel the metal.

"I never should have told Lexi, I knew about our Step-Dad."

I gripped my knife better...

And drove it through my heart, and after a few seconds, I pulled the knife out, and I feel to the floor. Dead.

After about 5 minutes, I woke up, completely healed.

"The one thing a hate most about my powers, is that I can't actually harm myself, not permanently, anyway."
I thought as I stood up.

"Reparo Dress." I say as the rip and blood stains disappear, and it looks like nothing happened.

"Why can't I have someone else's life?!"
I thought as I laid down on my bed.
(After I put my knife and fake book away)

                       Lexi's POV

       ~While Ava was in her room~

After Ava left I started crying a bit.

"I never should have yelled at her, she should have just told me the second she found out."

I wipe my tears that started to fall and looked at the time.

"Crap, I'm supposed to meet Sapphire, in 10 minutes!"

I quickly change into my swimsuit and put me clothes on over and ran out of my room.

"Have to meet Sapphire at Lake Fuego, I'll be home an a few hours. Love you, Bye!" I said as I ran out the door, and biked to Lake Fuego.

               ~10 minutes later~

"I should go apologize to Lexi."
I thought as I walked out of my room.

"Bye, I'm going to Lake Fuego." I said walking out the door, not waiting for a response.
