'This marriage was for political reasons.As the hokage and current head of the clan,I am supposed to have a stable family life and probably an heir.But you're too young,and my brother has children and even grandchildren,so you don't need to worry about that,'Tobirama said bluntly.

Kanoko nodded,her cheeks slightly pink at Tobirama's words.'I understand.I also have something to say...'

'Go on.'

'It isn't like you hate me,right?'She looked at him earnestly,waiting for an answer.

Tobirama chose to be honest this time as well.

'To be honest,anyone from your clan is dangerous,even you.I wouldn't call myself biased,but your clan has exceptional powers,and possess strong emotions-which is not the best combination.That does not mean the entire clan is possessed by evil,but the rate of those who go astray is significantly higher compared to the other clans.But I personally don't have anything against you.'

Kanoko nodded.'Thank you for explaining it clearly.If you don't mind,would you listen to a request of mine?'

Tobirama nodded.'What is it?'

'I understand that you may be wary of me,but I hope we can get along well with each other.'

Her request was rather strange,he thought.But it wasn't much,and it was in his power.

'Very well.'

Tsunade was engaged in a mock battle with Kanoko at the courtyard of the Senju household,being watched by several interested spectators.Though it wasn't the real thing,everyone involved had forgotten the fact and were completely engrossed in watching the fight.

Kanoko easily dodged a punch thrown by Tsunade,and the simultaneous kick she tried to land on her.She took her arm and sent her flying into the air.But Tsunade twisted her body midair,landing gracefully like a cat.

'Excellent.'

They turned to see Hiruzen looking at Kanoko with eyes full of praise.He had just come here.

'Thank you,'She smiled.

'I think it would be a waste if you didn't continue with your studies,you have great talent.'

Kanoko looked at him,surprised.

Since that day,Hiruzen had persuaded Kagami to train  Kanoko.Kagami had discovered that Hiruzen's words were no exaggaration.

Everything had now returned to normal in the Senju household,but there were some changes if one looked carefully.

Mito,one of those who were observing the situation,was pleased to see some things change for the better.
