Bryce's pov

Me and Marcel were walking to our next class and I had some troubles with my lockers. Marcel helped me and when we got it open, there was an alarm that went off. " teacher's and students this is not a drill, please lock your doors and get to cover." Me and Marcel tried to get to a door but they locked it.

We ran to another door and it wasn't one of our classes but the teacher opened the door and let us in. We walked in and saw everyone in the far corner, the teacher pointed to the group and we went over to the other kids.

They moved away from us and we hid behind some tables, me and Marcel started to move some tables and chairs and we made a wall incase some bullets came through. When we were done building there was some shots fired and the door was kicked down.

The bullets hit the tables and chairs and everyone got down lower to be safe. The shooting stopped and it was quiet. I looked up and there was a guy still there, I ducked again but he shot and it hit my cat ear. I hissed in pain, I held my cat ear and felt a hole on the edge.

" Come on let's go." A guy said and I heard the police sirens, after the guy left we heard another sound and we were told to put our hands up. We did and the police officers walked over to us, one walked over to me and helped me up. A guy with a medical kit walked over to me and asked if I was ok. I said I was and he wrapped my ear up.

It felt weird. The police left and told us to walk out with our hands up and the police was going to help us when we got outside. I looked back and the kids were looking at me and Marcel. the teacher walked up to us. " Thank you, without the barrier I'm sure some of us would be hurt." The teacher said and we nodded.

We got outside and we found our friends in another group. Mini and Tyler weren't here and Marcel asked where they were. " Don't worry, they were sent home early." Lui said and we calmed down.

" Thank god non of us was hurt. "
