Love was in the air, and so was the sense of urgency with which Raimoti handled all the pending paper works due for a royal approval. She had sat inside the confined walls of the royal library, with Kartik by her side, as she read each documents before passing them to the obedient ChhayaShangi to be sealed.

"Maa, the new road towards the north linking the eastern part of...?"

Raimoti raised her hand and Kartik stopped at once.
"That I'll have to ask Raja Saheb first, I can't take that decision as this new road would impact the political relationship of Raipur with the adjacent state."
Raimoti's words were confident and Kartik nodded his head in agreement.

"Kartik, go and check on the MahaSurjoGrahan arrangements once, I don't want any reservations, also, keep security to the maximum."

Kartik had gotten up at once, bowing infront of her.
"But Maa, Raja Saheb very specifically mentioned that he won't be attending this time as there might be British spies among the patrons."

"That's all the more reason to make this grand Kartik, if not the king, they would definitely see their new queen this year, and I'll ensure that the celebration marks a fear in their hearts, a fear of heralding prosperity of this kindom for many more years to come."
Raimoti chuckled softly, and Kartik smiled at her foresight, his heart yet again filled with awe and gratitude to the woman sitting infront.

"As you say Maa." He fisted his right hand and touched his chest as a formal gesture of respect, as Raimoti saw him turn around and leave the place at once.

"Now the letters..." She murmured, and pressing on the wooden desk for support she got up from the chair and walked towards the farthest desk, the one where Raja Apurba Sen had once worked.

*******

The greatest sweetness of earth is perhaps the heaven of a lover's company, and that very sweetness had coated Satyakirth's stone heart with a sense of happiness. It was his newfound idea of a relationship, where he felt so good because she saw all of him and he felt all of her... No hidden words, no barriers, no veiled truths... For she saw him exactly who he was!
There was such freedom in that, yet also a powerful sense of being home, of belonging, of wishing to ever-stay.

Satyakirth had been busy all morning, but each second of his engagement was laced with Raimoti's thoughts in the background of his brain, playing an orchestra of happy emotions, coursing love melody through his veins.
He was hurrying to finish the task at hand, and around midday he finally dashed inside the castle and almost sprinted towards the library.

Satya, in his heart, knew where exactly to find her!

He smiled as his eyes caught her sight, standing with her back turned towards the door, busy with a pile of papers at the farthest corner of the library.
Her hair looked a little wavy than usual, slightly dampened perhaps, and her saree was loosely tied around her body, unlike the usual firm fastenings. Barring the thick Sankha and pola, her wrists were devoid of any noticeable jewelleries, and Satya felt warm at the sight.
He walked stealthily towards her, his hand in his pocket, as very gently he pinned a light pink daliah on her hair. Raimoti was startled for a moment, but then she turned back and smiled brightly at him.

"Hey there..." She fluttered her eyelashes unintentionally, and Satyakirth smiled back as he fixed the flower neatly to her open traces. There was a joy in how he did it, as if for a moment he was happily absorbed by a feeling of love that played in his subtle smile and soft gaze. Then he brought his hand over her chin, lifting her face gently up, and their eyes met, reflecting the rhythm of their lives together.

"Princess!!"
He murmured, and for the first time ever he could see every day of his short future, and he wanted it... he wanted to stay and be a part of it more than anything he had ever wanted... for this new relationship was something he sailed within until his end.
"How are you this morning? I wish I could come earlier."

His words felt genuine, sincere and Raimoti smiled and casted her eyes down.

"I'm a little sore... But, I'll be good in a while, hopefully." She pressed her lips and Satya narrowed his eyes quizzically.

"Painkillers, Raja Saheb... I took them from your box." She winked at him mischievously and Satya rolled his eyes at her words.

"Without asking me? You shouldn't have Rai", he sighed in a slight disappointment as Raimoti pinched his cheek lovingly.

"I know how they look... So..."
She shrugged and he wrapped his arms around her body with absolute tenderness.

"Did you eat anything before taking them?" He asked, and Raimoti nodded her head and smiled.

"Where do you feel the soreness?"

"Everywhere." Rai smirked, throwing her arms around his neck, and the seriousness with which Satya had enquired about her health turned into a playful game of seduction.
"Do you want to know where it is sore the most?" She raised an eyebrow mischievously at him and Satya understood the connotation of her words at once.
He quickly leaned forward and picked her up from the ground, making her sit on the table, and Raimoti stirred a little to adjust herself to the hard seat.

"Do you know how this soreness was treated before queens started to steal painkillers without a prescription?" His eyes had bored deep in hers and she widened her gaze in question.

"With a paste of neem and turmaric, and then aloe vera", he paused, his gaze fixated on her lips, and Raimoti inched a little closer to his face.

"Then?" She asked.

"Then, after a queen had experienced her first night, which usually would be at an early age, the Mounis would apply this paste on her... her soreness." Satya pointed his eyes down on her body to indicate the place he meant, and Raimoti blushed at his gesture.
"I'm surprised no one did that for you this morning." He raised an eyebrow naughtily at her, and Raimoti pushed him away bashfully.

"They did come, with a bowl of something, bit I've shoved them out..." She murmured, "it's so difficult to bathe in your hall-like bathroom... Absolutely no privacy."
She rolled her eyes in mock concern and Satya laughted out loud.

"Oh I see." He chuckled, "I'll see to that your Highness." He bowed at her the way Kartik would usually do, and then he rushed towards her and cradled her in his arms.

"Satya... ouch... Put me down!" Raimoti screamed out a roll of laughter, and Satya carried her out of the library.

"As you haven't let the Mounis treat you, I'm left with no choice but to..." He didn't continue the sentence, but the naughty smirk on his lips made Raimoti flush in an erotic embarrassment.

A tall guard was standing at the door of the royal bed chamber, and two Mounis were inside, one arranging a set of flower on a silver vase, and the other replacing the burnt out candles with fresh ones, and all were startled to their wits as they saw their king carrying the queen inside the chamber, cradled in his arms like a new bride would be!
The guard bowed his head as low as possible, and the two women ran out at once, as Satyakirth proudly walked inside with Raimoti clasped to his chest.

"Close the door Veerbhadra." He commanded, and the guard complied at once.

It was bright outside, a little beyond midday, and the blinding sunrays flooded the stone walls of the bed chamber with its golden glow. Satyakirth had gently lowered Raimoti's frame on the bed, as he walked towards a shelf and pulled out the drawer carefully.

Raimoti sat up on the bed and stared at him in anticipation.

"Anti inflammatory ointment or Lavender oil... choose." He turned around holding two small bottles in his hands and Raimoti gulped at the question.

"Are you serious?" She gasped, and it was Satya's turn to raise his eyebrow.

"Absolutely."

Raimoti looked down, as if deciding, and then she looked up at him and murmured.
"La... lavender."

Satya smirked at her choice.

"Good, now lie down and relax."

Raimoti felt her heart fluttering, thudding inside her chest, and the sensuous feeling of Satya's attractive body on her from the previous night suddenly made her crave for more.

Anticipation was that thin wall that was between Satya's slow advances towards the bed, and the desire building inside Raimoti's heart, and savoring every bit of it she slowly stretched her body and lay down on the soft bed.

"Are you going to put oil everywhere?" She asked him in a low whisper as he sat down by her leg, pouring a little oil on his palm.

"Do you want me to?" He asked instead, and Raimoti gasped a 'no', her breath hitched to her throat as his hands slowly trailed up her legs, bunching the saree upward.

"How are you so smooth Rai", he smirked, "I always wanted to ask."

Raimoti had instinctively spread her legs a little apart, letting his hands slide in between her thighs as his abruptly question made her look up.

"Huh?" She gulped, as the feeling of his fingers rubbing on the soreness of her soft slit made her feel delirious.

"I mean... All humans have body hair... But you..." He whispered the words as with his free hand he carefully pulled the bunched up saree to her waist, parting her thighs a little more, exposing her completely to his mercy.

"Sugar wax", was all she could utter, as his fingers pinched her already moistened folds and rubbed the sides to sooth her pain.

"I see..." He smiled, "does this feel good?" He asked, rolling his fingers in a circular motion, causing a whirlpool inside her body, and Raimoti gulped and arched her back in response.
She felt hot, she felt lighthearted... dizzy with desire, yet Satya tried his best to maintain the composure.

"Put them in..." She moaned, curling her toes in need, and Satya stopped his handiwork on the intimate crevices of her body.

"What?" He asked, and Raimoti lifted her head and glared at him.

"Your fingers, god damn...I'm so turned on right now." She growled the words and it made Satya grin in amusement, his own arousal was hitting him hard for a while now.
He withdrew his hands to fold the sleeve of his shirt as with absolute gentleness he dipped his fingers in the aromatic lavender oil and pushed it inside her wet core.
Raimoti gasped at the effect.
It was like being transported into a different world of pleasure, it was like letting herself lose to the involuntary, and the increasing pace of Satya's slender skillful fingers made her clutch the freshly spread bedsheet, groaning out loud to match his rhythm.

The playful expression on Satyakirth's face had changed too, instead, his eyes looked hungrily at her response, ready to pounce on her at one nod, and that nod didn't take much time to come.

"Take me Satya... Now... Please..." She moaned out the words, her voice thick with desire and Satya pulled his fingers out at once.

"You sure."
He asked, and Raimoti got up from the bed in response. She tugged at his belt roughly to unsheathed him, and he helped her in the task.

The trousers had come off in no time, and Raimoti hardly gave him the time to unbutton his shirt. The first three buttons ripped off and the rest struggled to stay on his body.

"I want to curse." Raimoti grabbed his collar firmly and pierced him with her fire laced orbs.

"Do it." He hushed, and his hand pulled down the hem of her saree to reveal her white sculpted breasts to the mercy of his eyes. His own heart pumping desire instead of blood.

"Fuck me Satya..." She bit her lower lip and arched her neck back, her long slender legs spread wide open, inviting him to find a world inside her, a beacon of life, and Satyakirth needed no more invitation.

He saddled on her waist and positioned his hard erection at her dripping honeypot, his hands grabbing the back of her hair, crushing the daliah in his fist.

"Fuc'me...Yo'r Highness..." came out from Raimoti's mouth like a free-flowing jet of demand, her teeth gritted, and her eyes closed, head held backward...
Satya complied willingly, and a sensuous sting overwhelmed her senses with the first thrust, and the second one filled every cell of her body with an acute warmth of pleasure.

"More..." She growled, they both seated in a lotus position till then, and her command made Satya let out an approving grunt, pushing her down on the bed with a violent propel.
Raimoti moaned out loud, enjoying every bit of this aggression.

The entire world faded into haziness... The bright daylight, the half drawn fluttering curtains, the broken glass bottle of lavender oil, the guard outside the closed door... Everything... every minute aspect of the world faded into nothingness as Satyakirth continued to fill Raimoti with every ounce of his love, his heart pounding in wild happiness and her eyes reflected it's euphoria.

"You need mor' Princess?" Satya growled the words, his thrusts increasing, and Raimoti screamed his name in a final release, making Satya release himself inside her at once, both collapsing down on each other like a heap of rags.

"Stay inside." Raimoti murmured, still processing the earth shattering ecstasy that he had made her feel, and Satya rubbed his nose on the crook of her sweaty neck.

"So is this our favourite now?" He whispered, and it made her smirk mysteriously.

"May be..." She hushed back, and it made him look up at her, clutching on his elbow.

"I need to confess something..." His eyes bore deep in hers and she frowned at them.
"I was craving to make love to you since I woke up... I... I just couldn't control!"
He whispered, tucking away the loosened hairs from her forehead, the large vermilion dot smeared a little in sweat.

"Really?"

"Yes", he swallowed, "I think I can never get enough of you... of US... And I wish I had more time." He smiled, and she saw the helplessness in it.

"Then let's make the most of what we have, shall we? Your highness!" Raimoti raised one eyebrow invitingly at him, and it made Satya smirk at her.

"I need a little time though..." He breathed the words, and slowly pulling himself out of her, he rolled over on the bed beside her, soaking the bedsheet with his sweat drenched body.

"Would you be here till night?" She suddenly asked, and Satya nodded in negation.

"I'll probably be back before dawn."

"So, let's talk a little business, shall we?" She winked and Satya couldn't help but smile lovingly at her antics.

"First, the new road to the north... Do you think we should..."
She asked and it made his face thoughtful for a moment.

"The new road would definitely mean good trade, but it would be a direct route for the British Raj to intervene in our land." He sighed at his own analysis, before turning his eyes at her face.
"What do you think Rai, should we?"

"No", was her immediate response, she she now hovered over his chest, brushing her fingers on his soft brown chest hairs that she always thought to be attractive.
"And, the telephone post on the east?"

"It should be good... It's future... It was be a progress for our land." He smiled, touching her cheeks with his knuckles.

"Done then." She smiled back, but only for a moment, as her face had the sight of a dark cloud instantly.
"Do you think Anirudh Da has received the letter?" She suddenly asked, and Satya sighed deeply at her question.

"He should, by now... Given today is the trial." He closed his eyes to think, and Raimoti placed her head on his chest.

"Why did you scratch Batakrishna's name from the plan?"
Her words were a mere murmur, and it made Satya touch her hair gently, patting her with utmost love.

"He isn't ready."

"How?"

"I've news that he's a little too involved with the new British officer these days..."

"And so is his brother, he had so many officers who are his friends!" She raised her head to look at him.
"Don't tell me you're questioning his loyalty Satya!" She widened her eyes in question and Satyakirth let out another sigh.

"Without full knowledge about his intention and whereabouts, I can't have him do his bit Raimoti, I can't jeopardize the entire plan on the basis of trust."

"But you can't question his patriotism Satya..." Raimoti sat up, "I know him... And I know Anirudh Da and Bondita, and his entire damn family... And I can vouch that the colour of patriotism thickens their blood more than its does mine!"

Her words made him frown, and then a broad smile brightened his face.
"Fine, I'm not distrusting anyone, but it's just that Batakrishna isn't in his right frame of mind right now, not for this job."

"Why?" Raimoti asked, and Satya let out a playful sigh.

"He's in love, or so I've heard!"

A contagious smile was painted on his lips, and it made her smile too.

"Wow... That's a sweet news", she exhaled softly and lay back on his chest once again.
"Then let's not disturb him for a while..." Every heart should see the colours of love atleast once... And, I know they are so pretty!"

She closed her eyes dreamily feeling Satya's fingers running along her spine, sliding under her bunched up saree and she planted a kiss on his chest.

"Rai..."
He called her, and as she raised her head, he pulled her into a warm longing kiss.
"I love you..." He hushed seductively into her ears, and she bit his lips tenderly, rolling down on the bed with him on top, all without breaking the kiss.

"Let's get rid of our clothes first, shall we?" She whispered and Satya got up from her body at once, pulling the half torn shirt off his sleeves.

"Done!" He blew a kiss at her seductively, making her blush in all shades of red.
