I wake up.

Now that I think about it... Where the heck am I?

The door opens and light pours in, temporarily blinding myself. Someone was shoved into the room with me. He landed hard on the ground and the door slammed shut. He groaned.

"Are you alright?" I ask. He moans again and I can hear him sit up.

"I'm--"He stops."W-wait a second. Are you..." Why does his voice seem so familiar? Think, Lloyd, think!"L-Lloyd?!"

Suddenly it hits me like a speeding train.

"Steel?" I say.

"You remember!" He cried, jubilant. We laugh. It felt so good to do that again. We stop."I-it's been so long..." He muttered.

"Yeah..." I mumble."H-hey. Where did you go after Willow..." I stop that sentence."You just kinda... vanished."

"I went back to my old home town. Then I see Willow on my computer screen for a split second and these guys knock me out then drag me here."

"You say her too?" I ask, shocked.

"Only for a moment." He replied."H-her eyes were purple."

"She actually talked to me..." I whisper. He gasped.

"What?!" He shouted."She did?! Is she okay?! What happened?!"

"She's trapped in digital form... And the Overlord is taking control of her."

I don't hear him say anything.

"Steel?"

I hear him shuffle then walks toward the edge of the room. He growled furiously and punched the wall.

"Why?!" He yelled, repeatedly punching the wall."Why is this stupid darkness... ruining my life?!" He sinks to his knees."I lost my family because of Lord Garmadon! Now I'm losing my only friends because of the Overlrd!"

"Steel," I say gently.

"He is hurting Willow and I won't let him get away with this." He said firmly."Can you activate your golden power?"

"No. Not with these chains." I confess and I see two bright balls of purple energy light up the room. Steel brings his illuminated fists to his face so I can see him. He looks slightly older than when I last saw him. He smirks at me.

He puts his hand on one of the chains pinning me to the wall. He closes his eyes and breaths in, out. The chain has completely vanished into thin air. I stare at him."Elemental Master of Dreams, remember?"

He gets rid of the other one and we head for the door. Which is obviously locked. Steel presses his palms to it and in a few short seconds, the door is blown into the hallway with a flash of purple light. I stare at him again, shocked.

"Come on." He whisper-shouts at me through clenched teeth. We silently hurry down the hall and I can see him muh clearer now. He is wearing a dark purple ninja suit. When we reach the end of the hallway, which is leading to a large room, Steel gasps and stops me with his arm."Wait."

The room is filled with ghost-like creatures. The room is almost... kinda... like a factory.

"C'mon," Lloyd said."Travel by shadow." We melt into the shadows and make our way toward the to big doors. We slip through and sigh with relief. There's another hallway, this one is full of cells but when we pass about seven of them, we assume there all empty. I hear a noise behind us, a sort of shuffling sound, and we decide to run.

I catch a glimpse of something. A blur of brown and lime green. Steel must've seen too cause he stopped dead in his tracks and stared at the cell we passed ages ago. He pants and mutters something under his breath then he runs towards it. He snatches the bars.

"Violet!" He yells. I run to his side. I look in the cell and see a girl with long brown hair in a lime green ninja gi, staring straight at us.

"Steel?" She grabs the same bars Steel is. I look at her cage, there are vines climbing from the floor to the small barred up window. There is a broken mirror above the sink. Steel touches the lock of the prison and breaths deeply. I hear a cick and he slides the door open. She throws her arms around him and I tilt my head at them. Who is this?

"Introductions later," Steel said he grabbed "Violet's" wrist and we ran down the hall. We reach the door at the end. Steel tries to open it but it's locked. As he uses his powers, I look to my left and stare at the cell closest to the door we are currently at. There is a girl in a black hoodie, sitting on the ground leaning against the wall. She looks at me, her face is covered in scars and bruises. Three strands of red hair fall in front of her face.

Her eyes are dark and lifeless but--

"Lloyd," Steel whispers. And I look at him. The door is open."Come on."

"Give me a second." He nods and he and Violet hurry out. I look back at the girl. She blinks at me.

I mentally note to slap myself later and I break the bars open with my power.

"C'mon." I tell her. She climbs out.

"Th-thank you," She says quietly. She is looking down. She groans a little and she begins to fall forward. I gasp and catch her. She just passed out standing up. Aw crap. How am I gonna explain this to Steel? I carry her out the door in my arms. It is night time and the door I have just went through is hidden in a rock. Weird.

Steel glances at the girl in my arms."Uh..."

"Shut it. She was locked in there too." I say firmly.

"What?" He chuckles, shrugging. I look around, I can barely see New Ninjago City off in the distance. Steel creates a large purple dragon and we all jump on.

"Okay," Steel says smirking."Lloyd, this is my old friend, Violet. Violet, this is my old friend, Lloyd."

"Lloyd?" She echoes."Lloyd, as in... THE GOLDEN NINJA LLOYD?"

"Yep," I laugh slightly.

"Alright, Lloyd," Steel said."Where to?"

"The docks near New Ninjago City." I answer."That's where the Bounty is."

"Got it." He says and when he takes off he shouts."To adventure!"

The girl I'm holding shifts a little. She wimpers.

"Oh, Violet." Steel says."You remember Zane right?" Wait what?

"Yeah. Why?"

"Cause you're about to see him again." He smirks.

Violet freaks out."What?!" She beams and hugs him from behind."Yayayayaya!!!!"

We laugh. We fly right by the Bounty and quickly jump off onto the main deck.

"Guys?" I call."Uncle!"

"Lloyd!" My brothers cry and run out to the main deck.

"Where have you been?"

"We've been looking everywhere for--"

"Wait, Steel?" Cole said. He waves.

"Hey guys."

"V-Violet?!" Zane blurted. He took her shoulders and observed her face carefully.

"Zane!" She hugged him.

"Uh..." Kai said.

"Oh..." Zane said and released her he turned to the guys."My brothers, this is Violet. We met each other along time ago, before I even met Sensei Wu."

"Cool!" Jay cried.

"Who's that?" Cole says, looking at the girl in my arms.

"I actually don't know." I confess."She was trapped with us in the weird place we were in. I got her out of her cell and then she just passed out."

"Strange," My uncle said as he and Nya joined us."How do you know we can trust this girl?"

"I-I don't." I say."I just..." I sigh."She just... kinda re-reminded me of..."

"She can stay. Hopefully she'll awaken and we can learn who she is." Sensei said.

"And tomorrow," Steel looks at me."We need to go see Cyrus Borg." I nod sternly to him.

"Why?" Kai said, puzzeled.

"Who cares?" Jay says with a yawn."We'll find out tomorrow."

I carry the girl to the spare bedroom we have. I set her down on the bed and touch her hair. I suddenly pull back, realizing what am doing.

Idiot. She's not Willow. So stop convincing yourself that she is.

I walk out and pass Nya's room. That's where Violet's staying. I hear them laugh and I smile. Well, there gonna end up being besties. I walk into the room I share with Kai, Cole, Jay and Zane and Sit on my bed. Steel is staying in here with us. He is lying on his bed and staring at the ceiling, grinning like an idiot.

"Whatcha' thinking about so hard, Steel?" Cole teases.

"Hmm?" He looks at the ghost absentmindedly.

"I know what he's thinking about." Kai smirks deviously. Jay snickers.

"He's thinkin' about someone with long eyelashes." He says. Smooth, Jay. Smooth.

"I do not understand." Zane says.

"You will soon, my innocent nindroid friend." Kai mused. They laugh. We laugh. I sometimes forget that we're all family.

Well, a member of this family is in danger, and I won't stop until she's safe.
