I'm making this chapter a little longer because last time I did this ship it was really short so here ya go.

I'am a cat. A purple cat to be exact. I lived in a tiny box until one a day a strange human came into my kitty life. "Hey there buddy." The strange human said and picked me up gently. I hissed and scratched him but he wasn't scared at all. Instead, he brought me somewhere warm and nice. Later on I learned that the warm and nice place was called a home.

And that's how I met you.

"Cheng Cheng! It's time for breakfast buddy!" The gentle voice called out. I ran into the kitchen as fast as I could to eat my food. "Is it good Cheng Cheng?" He asked. I nodded my head as I continued to eat.

"Well buddy, I have to go now goodbye!"

The door was closed shut and again I was alone for the whole day like usual.

....
"I'm home Cheng Cheng!"
I peeked my head up.
I ran into the living room and there I saw a women by his side. The moment that I saw that lady I immediately knew she was trouble. "Cheng Cheng~ come here and meet my special someone!"
I turned My head away and walked into the kitchen rejecting his request.
"Xichen it's just a pet what's the need of meeting it if it doesn't even want to meet me." The high pitch annoying lady said. "Just let him warm up to you and soon enough he'll be following you everywhere." Xichen said.

The next day the same lady came back and again I just gave an attitude to Xichen and turned my head away.

"Please buddy do this for me~" he said. I growled at him and went into the bedroom while ignoring his calls.

Why can't I only be the one in your eyes Xichen! Mhm!

I thought to myself.

The next day
That stupid lady didn't show up today. Thank god she didn't! Now I can have Xichen all to myself. I meowed at Xichen. "Are you hungry Cheng Cheng? It's not normal for you to be hungry at this time." Xichen said while petting me.

I laid on his lap.

So comfy~

The next day
"Can you watch him for me please Ling." I perked my head up and went to go look at who Xichen was talking to.

And again that annoying lady came and apparently her name is Ling.

Tsk, how dare you enter my territory! I'll show you who's boss! Just you wait.

"Why? Don't you have Lan Zhan." Ling said irritated.

"Baby please, do this for me so you can get to know Jiang Cheng better." Xichen insisted.

"Fine. I'll do it then." She said.

Xichen turned around and walked up to me. "Be good ok buddy?" Xichen said softly and left. Ling looked at me with pure hatred. "You disgusting thing. I'll make sure to get you out of here."  Ling said and picked me up by my neck, I hissed and growled but she wouldn't let go.

She managed to bring me into a alley way and that was when I scratched her. "Ow! You damn cat! I'll make sure you never see the light of day!" Ling yelled and threw me against the wall. Since Ling was a human she had a lot more strength then me so when she threw me towards the wall I started bleeding.

I struggled to get up.

"Damn cat." Ling said and started kicking me.

My injury became worse as my vision blackened.

I'm sorry Xichen. I couldn't protect myself this time. Thank you so much for giving me this life. I'll see you again in my next life time.

"Where am I?"

The last thing I saw was a girl... and...why can't I remember anything?

"Sir, I'm glad your awake." A strange guy said and came with a white jacket of some sort on him.

"Who are you?" I asked with a hoarse voice.

"Sir, I'm doctor Wei. You are in Gusu hospital right now." Doctor Wei said. "Your tail and ears are completely fine aside from your broken ribs and leg." The doctor said.

"Do you remember anything?" He asked. I shook my head. "I only remember that some lady was kicking me until I lost consciousness ." I responded. "I see. You don't remember anything do you. You'll be staying in the hospital for a couple of weeks and after you recover we can find you a home." Doctor Wei said. "No! I know that I Someone once owned me! I won't leave my owner! Even if I don't remember him...I know he's out there somewhere." I said as tears welled up in my eyes.

"Then stay with me." Doctor Wei said.

"Stay with you?" I said.

"If you want to find your owner then stay with me so they won't put you for animal adoption." He said.

Who are you? Why can't I remember you? Suddenly a memory popped in my head.

Quick Flashback
"Cheng Cheng! It's time for breakfast buddy!"

"Cheng Cheng..." I mumbled to myself. "Jiang Cheng! That's my name!" I said to myself.
....

Slowly as time went on I started to regain those lost memories, but, I can't remember his name.

—Week three—
"Good news! You've completely healed and now Jiang Cheng, your gonna leave today!" Doctor Wei said happily. "You'll be able to find your owner soon!"
....
Wei Ying Pov
"How is it with that hybrid patient of yours." XingChen Asked. "Oh! He's doing great! He told me so much about what he saw from his memories. Like this one time he said that his owner would call him Cheng Cheng rather then Jiang Cheng And he's leaving with me today." I said and XingChen immediately spit his drink out. "Isn't that Xichen's lost cat's name?!" He said. "Oh wait, your right!" I said.

"I have to go. Thank you XingChen, your the best." I said and walked away.

"Jiang Cheng we need to talk." I said.

"About what?"

"Was your owner's name Lan Xichen."

"His name does sound very familiar." Jiang Cheng said.

"I need you at the hospital NOW!" I said through the phone. "What why?" Xichen Asked. "Your missing cat is in the hospital right now! Hurry up!"

3rd person Pov
Before Xichen could finish his words Wei Ying ended the call already. Xichen was in shock, "There's no way my cat is there."

Xichen Pov
When I made to the hospital Wei Ying popped out of nowhere and dragged me to Jiang Cheng's room.
"Is this your cat?!" Wei Ying said to me. "My cat is not a hybrid for your information." I said and was about to walk Out when suddenly the purple cate hybrid stopped me. He back hugged me and I heard him sniffle.

He's crying.

"Don't you remember me? Don't you remember your Cheng Cheng?"

Cheng Cheng...

"How do I know your Jiang Cheng." I said sternly and pushed the hybrid away. "I was just a small little kitty when you found me. I was in tiny box during the winter. I remember it was around night time near the Christmas holiday where lights shined everywhere and everyone were smiling and singing but of course I didn't know what it was at all," I chuckled as I continued on.

"I watched as people smiled and laughed giving each other gifts. I watched kids run around throwing snowballs at each other. And that's when I saw you...you picked me saying "Hey there buddy." It was the first time any human as ever spoken to me. I scratched and hissed at you but you weren't afraid. You took me to your place despite me refusing to go but you knew it was the right thing to do. I remember how I didn't want that doctor touch me and I ended up scratching him but you didn't punish me. And from there I became your Cheng Cheng." I said as Xichen's eyes were filled with tears.

"Don't cry Xichen~ Cheng Cheng is back~" I said softly and wiped Xichen's tears away and hugged him.

"I'll leave you guys alone when you guys are done you guys can come outside." Doctor Wei said and left the room and also closed the door.

Suddenly Xichen cupped my face in his big hands.

"Now that I look at you. Your so cute that I can just swallow you whole."

I widened my eyes.

I started turning bright red. "Sh-ut up idiot." I said flustered and turned my head away.

Night time~
The moon shined bright against the small lake as me and Xichen held hands. Tonight was a full moon so tonight the moon is at its brightest. "How did you ever end up in the hospital." Xichen said breaking the silence. "It was Ling. When you left she took me to an ally way and threw me against the wall and she also kicked me until I fell unconscious." I said as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry."

Xichen said and pulled me in for a hug. "Let's forget about the bad times and just wait for what the future holds." Xichen said and kissed my forehead."ok." I responded pulling away from the hug and looked up at the sky.

"Cheng Cheng..."

"Yeah."

I turned my head to look at Xichen.

He pulled me close to him as his lips inches closer to mine.

And when I knew it, his lips had connected with my lips.

We kissed passionately. The kiss was not rough but it was sweet and gentle. Suddenly fireworks went off. "Cheng Cheng look, fireworks are going off." Xichen said.

"It's so pretty."
