Kaylen's POV; Junior Prom w/ Tara Morgan following he, Kim and Ron saving the world from Drakken's and Shego's latest attempt in taking over the world. The newbie member who had joined the bombshell redhead and her unique best friend on the world saving expeditions during the middle part of their sophomore year was dancing with the bubbly blonde as she giggled at her boyfriend for the better half of a year as the song 'Could It Be' began playing in the gymnasium.!

Tara: Before you left you looked handsome Kay.... but somehow that little scar you said Shego gave you during that fight makes you look even hotter.

Kaylen: Well remember to tell me whenever I go with Ron and KP to never ever fight Shego again; like the woman damn near sliced my jugular vein when Ron and I were fighting her and Kim's fake ass Gary Stu ass boyfriend Eric who I might add wasn't even human.

Tara: Mmhm I'll be sure to remind you sweetheart but did you have anything to do with that?

Kaylen looked at her with a questioning look before he saw Kim and Ron walking towards the dance floor and he smiled and gave KP's best friend a thumbs up as the best friend duo shared a slow dance.

Kaylen: I actually didn't; Ron confessed his feelings for Kim to me first and I just told him to go for it, I guess it took KP tearing herself down when Eric betrayed her for Ron to finally nut up like he did. I'm honestly happy for him and KP. Funny how being tied up in the Bueno Nacho warehouse will do that to you.

They took a break just in time to see Ron and Kim have their first official kiss as much to the pleasure of their common best friend Monique and Ron's , the chagrin of Kim's rival and Tara's friend Bonnie.

Tara: Aww they look so cute; kinda like you on your first day remember?

Kaylen snorted

Kaylen: How could I; it was pretty much the day my life changed forever, where do I even start?

Present Day; First Day of Kaylen's sophomore year.

The clock began blasting the song Kaylen had put it on to wake up him at around six in the morning. He reached over towards his nightstand to turn the alarm off.

Kaylen: Alright alright I'm up, I'm up.

Kaylen got up out of bed as he the athletically gifted fifteen year old who would be sixteen in December stretched his body out including his neck and arms as he proceeded to his in-room bathroom to brush his teeth, wash his face and shower up for the day. Despite just recently getting his drivers' permit in early April, he himself actually been garnering a lot of attention as he was a highly regarded high school prospect coming from the City of Angels that was Los Angeles California. The oldest of three kids the other two being twin sisters named Rose and Sapphire who were in middle school, sixth grade to be exact, Kay still had a lot to navigate himself while still protecting his baby sisters as best he could. His parents were literal embodiment of the American Dream; his father was a Coloradoan to the bone having grew up in Denver and Aurora and finding work as a video game developer and part time therapist. His father Allen would meet Kaylen's mother Brittany in college as she was majoring in physical therapy and sports medicine becoming an athletic trainer for Middleton as well as a doctor for the local hospital. They soon married after graduating college and about a year later they had Kaylen. The young man was always a ball of energy growing up so they decided why not to signed up for sports off the bat with him playing basketball and football from the age of six where he proved he was good at both sports. Being ranked nationally after his freshman year of school, Kaylen was shocked when he got the word that his mom accepted then post as the new head athletic trainer of Middleton he descended down the stairs after getting getting cleaned up and dressed up where the rest of the family was eating their breakfast.

Kaylen's mom: Hey there I've got powdered Belgian Waffles with scrambled eggs for my big man-child!

Brittany kissed her eldest son's head as she sat the plate down for him while Kaylen washed his hands, sitting as his father took the paper away from his face.

Allen: So Kaylen; any nerves before you go to high school? I'm pretty sure you and the girls having the label as the new kids. Just making sure you're good to go.

Kaylen: I mean the nerves are gonna be there pops, I won't cap on that front but you know I don't scare easily; I met with my new coach during orientation who just happens to be the vice principal of the whole school and he's probably the most intimidating son of a gun there.

Sapphire piped up as the sixth grader stuffed her face silly with a fluffy waffle.

Sapphire: Please Kaylen you're going to school with my heroes, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable! Do you know how much more popular you'll be if you become friends with them.

Kaylen: I'm plenty popular as is Sapphire don't worry about me; besides do you and Rose have everything ready because once I'm done with my food and I walk out that door, I'm not coming back until after football practice.

Rose ran down the steps having already finished her breakfast backpack in hand.

Rose: Rosalina 'Rose' Butler reporting for extraction!

Kaylen: Alright tell you what you go and watch some T.V. eating shouldn't take me no more than twenty minutes?

Sapphire and Rose smiled brightly as they quickly left for the family room as he pondered to his inner brain while eating his waffles and eggs.

Kaylen(internally): It's a good thing they don't know my secret; I do want to tell them but I don't think their brains or hearts could take it that I'm a vigilante like their heroes... it's best if ArchAngel stays behind for awhile.

He stood in his thoughts until his mom snapped him out of it.

Kaylen: Huh?! Oh what's up mom?

Brittany: I was saying if you'd like to make a head start on your day I could take Rose and Sapphire to school so you could get your schedule and classes on time?

Kaylen: Oh I guess thanks mom I owe you one.

Brittany: Think nothing of it but it's your turn for dinner; why don't you pick up some pizza or takeout after practice?

Kaylen: Sure bye mom; see you dad.

Allen: Take care my Lion.

Kaylen grabbed his bags and car keys as he made his way to his Ford Mustang GT Premium.After setting his backpack and football bags down on the backseat. he then put the car in reverse pulling out of driveway and beginning the approximate 10 minute drive towards his new school. He arrived about twenty minutes before the bell rang as he drove over to the student parking lot. He then entered the bustling school as he made his way over to the administrative office.

Receptionist: Hey there sugar; you new here?

Kaylen: Yeah I was told to come here to get my schedule; last name is Butler, first name Kaylen?

Receptionist: Oh you're that one highly touted athlete that transferred from L.A. right?

Kaylen: Yeah my mom accepted the post of head athletic trainer here after the old trainer retired after what forty years?

Receptionist: More like twenty-seven; ahh here we go Kaylen Justice Butler. Have a safe first day and welcome to Middleton High! Go Mad Dogs!

Kaylen: Thank you! Alright first class... is Challenge World History and locker is 128 let's go.

He took deep breaths before he joined in the massive sea of humanity that was the moving Middleton student body with some of the staff sprinkled in. In the aforementioned history class, kids were settling in when certain dirty blonde haired kid slumped in his seat. He was the infamous yet lovable Ron Stoppable.

Ron: Another year of torture huh Rufus? Monique? KP? Come on someone help me out here.

Rufus emerged from his best friend/owner's pocket as he squeaked as only the naked mole rat could do.

Kim: Come on Ron it can't be that bad? So you may have given Barkin a weird look last year, you don't really think he'd hold that against you?

Ron: Kim I studied for one of my midterms last year and even when he admitted I should've gotten a B at the very most he nearly failed me!

Bonnie: Wouldn't be the first time you nearly failed at something despite trying so hard loser.

Monique: Girl were put on this Earth just to make Ron and Kim miserable?

Kim: I'm not even going to trip off of her Monique, so not the drama.

Just then Tara, the meek yet bubbly cheerleader opened her mouth.

Tara: Can we just get along for now guys; Bonnie stop making Ron's life a living hell, he's done nothing to you at all so why do you keep bullying him?

Kim: Tara, she's a lost cause but I heard a new student was coming here? Any ideas who it might be?

Monique: I don't know Kim your guess is as good as mine.

Bonnie: I don't care; now if he's a hottie than my Bricky may have some competition.

Tara shook her head at her best friend's statement.

Tara: Bonnie I love you but sometimes I'm starting to really question you.

Mr. Barkin soon walked in as the vice principal and seemingly teacher of everything put some papers on his desk.

Barkin: Alright maggots sit down; now obviously it's a new school year a lot of new things, new football stadium, new teachers, a new fresh batch of high school freshmen to break in your own unique way. But I still remain the same but before we get your year started off on the right foot at least in yours and mine image a lot of you have heard there was a new student joining the sophomore ranks of Middleton High... come on in son.

That was Kaylen's cue as he entered the classroom and a few jocks started to recognize and even Ron recognized him as he whispered towards Kim.

Ron: Oh my god KP; that's Kaylen Justice Butler!

Kim: Let's pretend I know who he is Ron...

Ron: His dad is one of the project developers of one of my favorite video game series Reckoning Day and Calamity!! Oh and he's supposed to be one of the top rated prospects in football, baseball and basketball or something like that.

Barkin: Why don't you introduce yourself to my class kid?

Kaylen: Well thank you Mr. Barkin; well guys and gals my name is Kaylen Justice Butler but I go by a variety of nicknames; Kay, K.B. J.B. or Supreme Justice though I'm not really a fan of that one. I'm pretty much just a normal kid like all of you just trying to navigate high school and survive; I guess you should is the rumours are true about me that I'm this highly touted prospect your city has been buzzing about but I don't want any special treatment; just treat me like one of your own and we'll be squared away. I also hail from Los Angeles but I was actually born in Dallas, Texas and just moved here not even three months ago.

Tara wasn't paying any attention to anything Kaylen had been saying as she had been staring at the handsome African American and his athletic build. While she admitted to having somewhat of a crush on the goofy and lovable Ron, she felt it was a lost cause and started a brief relationship with the high school's heart throb in Josh Mankey. That relationship didn't last long at all as Josh wasn't a good a boyfriend as she'd imagined so she cut ties off with him to just focus on herself. It wasn't until Monique bumped her to bring her out of her daydream.

Tara: Hey what's wrong Monique?

Monique: Nothing but it looked like you were starstruck when you saw Kaylen? You okay girl?

Tara: Uh yeah why?

Mr. Barkin: Well Kaylen, welcome to Middleton High since there not that many seats around so why don't you just sit between Miss Possible and Miss Morgan?

Monique shot Tara a look that basically screamed 'good luck girl'

Kaylen nodded as he took his backpack off and placed on the back of his chair as he looked at both Kim and Tara.

Kaylen: Hey ladies it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance but to be in the same class as Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable; I guess fate is trying to tell me something.

Kim nodded and gave a friendly smile at Kaylen.

Kim: Same K.J. is it okay if I call you that? If it is here's hoping we can be friends this year.

Kaylen: I'll gladly take that opportunity if it's presentable Kim. You must be the aforementioned Miss Morgan amirite?

Tara blushed as she shook Kaylen's hand. He definitely was strong but he had a gentleman's grasp to his hand.

Tara: Ye-yeah but Tara works just as fine no need to be formal with me.

Kaylen: Ah I'm glad usually stepping on people's toes isn't my specialty my mom and pops raised me better than that. How about we talk more during the free lunch time we've got?

Tara smiled; at least he was showing her some shred of common decency and respect unlike most of the guys she crushed on that weren't named Ron.

Tara: I'd like that Kay...

END OF CHAPTER ONE! So there you have it I killed two birds with one stone; I decided to go ahead and do like future look at Kaylen's romance with Tara whilst also diving into the relationship of Kim and Ron's romance based on the events of So The Drama. Now this first chapter was basically establishing the similarities of the teenage duo that is Kim and Ron as well as Kay's double lives of being crime fighting heroes only difference is that while Kim and Ron's families know of their seeds lives outside of school; Kaylen's dad and mom are the only ones that know of Kay's adventures as Rose and Sapphire, Kay's younger twin sisters are flat out enamored with Ron and K.P. and he's trying to keep it a secret. Now Chapter Two should be out soon but I want to see how received first chapter is before anything else happens. So stay tuned for more and I'll see you guys soon.
