Drupad was conducting the yagna to gain a son for his revenge. He invited all the kingdoms to witness the great birth of fire borns.

Drupad was asked to give offerings to yagna to attain his son . "I maharaj drupad sacrifice my sword to the yagna so that much son would be as my sword and slay all my enemies, I sacrifice my armour to the yagna so that my son would be able to protect me from all sides at time of danger at last I offer to yagna my blood which is boiling for revenge of my humiliation so that my son be able to take revenge of his father" he said cutting his hand and dropping blood into it the fire rose a bit high and a man was appearing inside the yagna

"Drupad your son would be known for his courage and he is born to defeat gurudron gods has named him as drishtadyumma" priest said , drupad was feeling proud seeing his son , drishtadyumma touched his feet and took his blessings he embraced him to his heart "my son" he felt proud seeing his son infront of him

The kuru's who were present there didn't like the concept of revenge from guru dron but they didn't utter anything. Duryodhan though wasn't much attached to his guru but still he didn't find it correct in any way. He couldn't wrong dhrisht when his father was at fault.

"Drupad now give offerings to gain your daughter" priest said "I ask gods to give a daughter to me whose life is full of struggles and pain" he said making all the persons present there gasp "so that after overcoming those hurdles she can get a great personality
I offer this sacred ash to yagn she would be pure and soft like this yet should gain all impurities in this world even then this world have to see her as pure
I offer this grains to yagn so that my daughter like this can give strength to all even after getting weak she has this capability in her heart
I offer this Gulaal to yagn which never changes colour in same way she would never lose her valour
I offer this sindhur which is considered as beautiful thing in this world she should be the most beautiful person in this world and should make other feel they are beautiful to
I offer this lotus flowers like these flowers my daughter after being in pain also should emit fragrance of strength can gods give me a daughter like this" drupad yelled the fire extinguished at once and again rose high to sky a female figure was taking shape inside yagn

"Drupad she is your daughter who will be known as Draupadi as your daughter, panchali princess of Panchal , yojagandi whose fragrance travels for a mile , nityayuvani who never ages and at last she is named as krishne by gods accept her drupadi" Yaaj said a female figure stepped out of the yagna

A feminine figure started to take form with the fire , each and every person present there were curious to have a glance at the beautiful creation of gods . Dwarakadeesh was having tears in his eyes and a large smile was playing on his lips as he saw his sakhi stepping out of the yagna kund.

"Krishnne" he uttered those words looking at his soul sister. He turned his face towards the other persons present there he saw there was many persons who were gazing at her with utmost admiration in their eyes where as some of them were lusting her. His gaze was fixed on the person who was looking at her with a soft smile on his face and great amount of respect and unknown feeling in his eyes.

Krishna smiled knowing that the destiny has started it's plans. "Angraj I know my sakhi is looking good" he said with a smirk bringing the person beside him out of trance . Karn shook his head and turned towards Krishna "sakhi??" He questioned him lifting his eye brow

"You see she is going to be my friend you see" Krishna replied making him shook his head "I don't think the other friend of your would like the concept of sharing his best friend" karn teased him back

"Oh ! Come on he doesn't know right and there is still
Time for him to know" he casually shrugged it off

"But When are they going to show themselves vasudev it's been three years still what is making them stop" karn sighed thinking about the dreadful incident of lakshagraha if he wouldn't sent the information to mahamantri Vidur they would have been burnt in that fire.

"Time will answer all your questions angraj. You chose the path of dharma even staying with adharma I appreciate that but don't you think it is going to put you in a tough spot in future" Krishna asked him looking at Duryodhan who sat with his mamashree

Karn sighed as Krishna uttered those words . It was their regular conversation when ever they met . He doesn't get tried asking the same question again and again and he doesn't get tired giving the same answer again and again.

"Duryodhan is not evil vasudev he just need to be set in correct path which would take time. Ashwatthama are trying our best but slowing down the poison effects needs time vasudev" he smiled looking at Duryodhan's grumbling face as he saw Gandhari raj was saying him something

"Well let's see if the poison fades away before harming anyone" he said looking at Shikhandini who was embracing her sister as drupad was formal towards his own daughter

"I think we need to talk with someone else right now" Krishna said grabbing Karn's hand and dragging him towards Draupadi

"Pranipat sakhi" Krishna folded his hands before her and smiled knowing the confusing glance of her

"Sakhi??" She said her voice was like the song of the spring too melodious to hear "why don't you want to be my sakhi Krishné" he smiled innocently as if he was offended by her

"No no nothing like that but" she tried to say something but before she could say anything further "vasudev why are you troubling the kid so much" karn said

"Kid ? Me ? Do I look like a kid" Draupadi retreated for Karn's words "well what will you say the person who just born a kid only right" karn said trying to stop his laugh seeing her frustrated

"You ? I am not a kid I might be born just now but that doesn't mean I am a kid I am fully grown" Draupadi yelled at him . Shikandini and Krishna were silently enjoying their banter

"Oh oh my little firecracker I am just teasing you no need to burn whole kampilaya in your anger" he smiled looking at her pouting face and and unknown sensation ran through her as he emphasised 'my' more during his speech

Duryodhan who came there by pulled karn along with him "mitr I am getting bored and exhausted let's go from here" karn shook his head knowing his friend's stubbornness "well miss firecracker hope to see you soon" saying so he went away with him

"Jiji who is he ?" Draupadi asked shikandini who was beside her "well he is angraj karn sakhi" krishna said making her gaze at the direction he went

"Choti he is dwarkadeesh shri Krishna" shikandini introduced him properly to her "and your sakha too" Krishna added

Draupadi smiled warmly at him "Sakha Krishna" she uttered to herself smiling widely.but her mind was struck somewhere else or let's say on a particular name 'karn'

Krishna smiled looking at his friend who was lost in thoughts of the special someone.

Well let me clear a thing here I am going to pair karn and Draupadi and starting chapters are mostly going to be on them only.

I am not bashing any character here Pandavas are equally given their priority

I am not showing pandavs and Panchali' s relation as toxic one it was is and would always be a pure relation ever lasted

But just a small twist in the story which is going to change everything

So the persons who are not in favour for this pairing or going to be bashers  can leave the room immediately no objection
