In Night

Avni was sitting in the garden thinking of shwetha's words while Neil and Zoya in Avneil's room playing. Neil was waiting for her as its been so late since she went to place the dishes in the kitchen.

"Where did your angel went?" he asked Zoya while she made thinking face.

"Chalo..." he picked her up and just went down in search of her.

He saw the door which is open and and went to close it and saw her sitting in the garden. Zoya looked at Neil innocently

"Ang.. Angel... Why... She... Is... Sitting... There?" she asked.

"I don't know na.." he said and then started moving towards her

Zoya ran and went to her while Neil was coming behind her

"Angel..." she called sitting beside her while she looked at her

"Aap yaha kya karrahi ho?" she asked while Neil was standing behind the bench silently and then went from there

"I... Ca.. Came.... to see you..." she said while she smiled

"Achaa.. But it's so cold here... You will get cold na..." she said

"But... You... Are.. having... Fe... Fever..." she said while she don't know what to say.

"Vo..I... Was... Just...came...to....see the stars.." she buttered looking at the sky while Zoya too looked at the sky .

"Mum... Mumma... Used... To... See... The..... Stars... Too..." she said while Avni looked at her suddenly and took her in her lap and hugged her.

And suddenly something covered her. She turned and looked at him who covered them with duvet. He silently sat beside them while Avni was looking at him all the while. By seeing her strong gaze on him, he turned to look at her while she looked the sky.

"Neilu... You... Too... Co... Come... In..." Zoya said opening the duvet for him while Avneil looked at each other and share an eyes lock.

Neil went near Avni while Avni was looking at him. They were sitting so closely. She then looked away while Neil looking at her.

" Why you were sitting... You are having fever... You know right?" he asked while she turned to look at him and their nose crashed with each other.

The moment was getting intense for both of them as they can't able to take off their eyes from each other. Their breath were fanning each other face. After a minute or more, They both together looked away.

"Main... Vo..... I..." words were betraying making the moment more awkward.

"Chalo.." he said getting up

"Zoya sogay hai..." she said seeing her who was sleeping in her lap

He bend and took her in his arms.

"Aap jaye main thodi der main aathi hu.." she said looking at him

"Nahi abhi chalo meri saath... Iss halat main yaha kyu beti ho.... Collage se ab tak tumhari health ke baare main humesha careless ho..." he complained while Avni smiled seeing him scolding.

"Oyee hello... I am scolding you...." he said while she composed herself and stood up

"come on.."he said while she nodded and started walking while he followed behind her

He placed zoya on the bed and went down to fetch water. Avni then settled herself on right side of Zoya and covered her bare hands with her saree as she feels so cold. She closed her eyes trying to sleep. Whereas Neil came and saw her who was covering herself. He then looked at the window which is opened and went to close it. Avni opened her eyes hearing the sound and saw him closing the window. She can able to see his care for her. She closed her eyes suddenly seeing him turning. He went near Avni and covered her fully with duvet.

He then settled himself on the bed and looked at Avni. He remainces of their moment which just happened between them.

Neil's pov

Bebe is right.... Lagtha hai Main kabhi Avni ka Pyaar Ko dekhna hi nahi chatha tha..... Par aaj jab uss aankein main dekha tho... Mujhe... Mujhe... Kuch ajeeb sa feel hua.....her eyes just... Its just longing for something.... Her love is longing for me only......these two years I barely talk to her.... I barely spent time with her after all I don't even sat beside her these two years......but today it was totally a different one... I was feeling totally different taking care of her....talking to her.... Kya kuch nahi kiya Avni ne... Par seriously mujhe kuch realize hi nahi hua....Meri zindagi main jo kuch bhi hua.. Iss main Avni ka koi khusur nahi hai and After all she only helped me...... And Infact she was ready to be my better half.. After even knowing everything.....if I think what have I done for her... For her love.... Its just nothing. I am sorry Avni. For all the thing which i have done to you. For hurting you....

He thought looking at her.

At Morning

Avni woke up from sleep and she opened her eyes and saw Neil's hands which was a above hers. And her hand was on Zoya covering protectively. She looked at him lovingly. She chuckled remembering everything. She slowly took his hand above hers and got up and then went to fresh up.

After sometime.

Neil woke up and saw her who was combing her hair. He got up from the bed and about to get freshen up and suddenly he noticed something. The zip of her blouse was slightly open. He stopped while Avni looked at him through the mirror.

"Avni...your...i mean.... Tumhari..." he was making action while Avni didn't understand. She didn't turned but still looking at him through the mirror

"Zip... Blouse... I mean... Its bit open.." he said while she turned with a jerk facing him and her hands reached her back of the blouse.

She was struggling to close and her awkardness not let her to concentrate correctly. She was trying looking at him and her struggle made it open a wide. while Neil sighed and went near her.

" Let me.." he said without any hesitation while Avni's eyes widen.

He slowly turned her to face the mirror. He put her hairs towards right side. A current passed down her spine when his hands contacted with her back of neck.  Neil gaze fixed only on the mirror seeing her eyes while Avni also looking at him only. His hand reached her zip and he pulled it upwards slowly. He step aback after that while she turned to face him.

"Thank you.." she said and about to go while he stopped her

"Avni..." he called while she stopped and turned

"how are you feeling now?" he asked

"Fine.." she smiled while he nodded and about to go while she stopped him

"Neil..." he looked at her

"I know a speech therapist... I wanna take zoya there...."

"OK... Let's go...." he said while she nodded smiling

Avni then wake up zoya and make her get ready. They then done with their breakfast and was started to the hospital. Doctor checked and asked her to start the speech therapy session from today. Avni and Zoya were in the session while Neil was waiting outside, waiting for them.

After a hour or more

They came back after the section. While Zoya has Choclate in her hand.

"Wow... Choclate... Who gave you?" he asked kneeling down

"Doc... Doctor... Gave me... Say.. Saying... I.. Am.. A... Good.. Girl..." she said proudly making them chuckle

"Very good.. So your aren't afraid of him?" he further asked her while she nodded her head  negatively

"That's like my bachaa... You are very strong girl you know..." he said while she hugged him.

"Did the session went good?" Neil asked Avni

"Haa Neil.....doctor ne bola ki....she will learn quickly..." she said

They then went to their home. Neil got a call and he went to speak while Avni and Zoya was going in and saw a neighbourhood aunty sitting there. Shwetha was nowhere there. The lady saw her

"Areey Avni... Main tumhari baare main puch rahi thi..." she said while Avni smiled. She then asked Zoya to go in and she went to their room.

"Hi aunty... Kese hai aap?" she asked.

"Main teek hu.... Tum aao beto.." she said and eyed on Zoya who left to Avneil's room

"Nahi aunty kuch kaam hai..." she said as she can't able to leave zoya alone for long time.

"Achaa.. Kaun tha vo baby..." she asked

"Vo...Baby.." before Avni could speak she interuppted

"Adopt tho nahi karliya hai.... Main bhi puchti rehthi tumhari Saas se ki... 2 saal hogaya hai Neil ka shaadhi huve ab tak ek kush kabhi kyu nahi aaya..." she started with her typical so called aunty waala dialogue.

"Sab teek tho haina Avni... You should consult doctor for sure.." she said while she got hurted by her words.. She was in the urge of crying but controlling herself faking a smile.

"Bohat bohat shukriya hai aapko..." they heard a voice while they turned and looked Neil at door step who listened to their conversation.

"Vaise aunty jii... Aap humare Life main interfere karneki koi zaroorat nahi hai..." he said while Avni looked at him. He turned to look at Avni and saw her eyes which is filled with tears. Neil felt something in his heart seeing her tears.

"Naahi Main aapka beta hu... Naahi meri biwi aapka bahu hai... You have no rights to interfere in our life..." Avni was stunned hearing him addressing her as his wife for the first time.

"Issiliye aap apne kaam se kaam rakilijiyega..." he said straight to her face.

Shwetha came from kitchen having tea in her hand and saw everyone.

"Tillu tum kab aay? ..." she asked coming while the lady looked at shwetha once and went from there angrily after being insulted.

"Areey aap kaha jarahe hai..." she called not understanding anything

While Avni left from there immediately while Neil looked at her going away from there

"Avni beta..." shwetha called but she went

"Kya hua hai?" she asked him

"Please mom.. Don't call that lady hereafter..." he said and left from there to check Avni.
