Silent Lines.

The three rangers got into a line as she huffed. Pichu joined beside her while Crepe stood in the door to the kitchen. She took a deep breath before speaking.

"Alright. This is how we're going to do this. I want all members with me on the field. We're going after Red Eyes."

~~~
Parchment started taking notes instantly. They weren't bad, but she saw their weaknesses.
Leanne had almost nothing in her head. Literally, commands never got to a brain (If there was one). Jack actually took 5 minutes to repeat her words, which found their way to whatever was running up there. Even after that, it took forever for her to understand what she was doing. Though, Parchment was sure there was some sort of trigger in her head.
Jack was a really good Unit except he never liked doing anything alone. Literally, he was an amazing support; getting Charge Pokemon and always having pokemon for every obstacle. But the second she asked him to do anything alone, he looked like she was telling him to kill himself (Which she wasn't, to clarify). He was always on the sidelines even though she knew he could be the better member.
Midnight... was interesting. He was able to keep up with her with no problem. But if they were trying to solve a problem, he used that time to sleep. Anytime that wasn't moving or working, he was sleeping. There was even a time his Parasect simply carried him because he was that tired. But that didn't stop him from being a really good ranger. There was one time rogue pokemon attacked them. Midnight barely moved or panicked as he captured the pokemon, His Dewott and Bellossom helping calm them down. She was rather surprised about that. His calm composure got her confused on why he needed help.
Besides that, they were good together. Jack helped Leanne and Midnight just was the voice of reason. That, however, would change.
~~~

Upon finding Red Eyes in the Volcano, he panicked. Instantly, he sent a group of wind-like birds at them, causing the group to take cover as he bolted away from them. Parchment winced.

"Red Eyes!" She bolted after him, Leanne and Jack right behind her. Midnight slowly followed as Parchment's styler opened the door. They went up as he tried to rush the awakening of Moltres. He winced upon her shout. "Red Eyes!" He gulped as he sent a look back. He managed to send a Charizard at them as Moltres awoke. Midnight took no time to capture the Charizard while the other three raced forward, unable to catch up to the Admin as he took off.

~~~
Parchment looked over her notes as she wrote another letter to the Chairperson. Midnight was passed out on the couch while the others were bothering Crepe. Jack finally packed it up for the night while Rand pulled Leanne's attention with his research. The two parents went upstairs while Nick rested with Midnight. Crepe was still in the kitchen when she went out and put the letter in the mail. She then went back in, slipped around the sleeping boys, and joined the Officer in the Kitchen. She paused before speaking.
"Why are you here?" He glanced at her. "You are the only one without a reason to be here." He scoffed.
"Ask the Chairperson."
"I am. That's part of the letter going north."
"Then hopefully she'll answer. Because your guess is as good as mine." She gave a glare as he offered a plate of food. "I don't know your food preferences, but you should eat." She hummed.
"Normally, I eat what I find. But I won't turn down this. It's been a while since I've had food made by someone." He paused as she took the plate and went to where the boys were sleeping.
"Normally? What do you normally eat?" She glanced at him as she paced behind the sleeping boys, slowly eating the food.
"Small fruits, bread, anything I could get my hands on that didn't need to be prepared so that I could keep moving. I never had time to make food, so I used my survival instincts to get food." She finished the food before going over and handing him the plate. "Let this be known. When I find out why you're here, I'll be doing damage. Admiral was fine as a TO, but you're not that. I need people on the field, not in the base." She then went out as he hummed. He then pulled out a letter from his jacket and went out, letting it join Parchment's letter.
"I doubt you'll be saying that later."
