Catching the Blur!

With Purvis's advice, they went to try and catch up to Parchment. Rand and Nick stayed on land while the Rangers got into the air. Don't ask where Crepe went. Midnight was half asleep when Leanne spoke.

"There she is." The other two followed her gaze, finding Parchment arguing with Blue Eyes. Midnight hummed as he drifted off. Slowly, Leanne flew over, only to alert Parchment. With a hiss, The female Ranger Shot off, knocking the blonde off her ride and vanishing. Well great.

~~~
Nothing was getting through. Parchment wouldn't go near them. And yet she managed to send a letter and have a talk with the Chairperson.
Currently, the Top Ranger was watching the lightning above her as Purvis landed near her. He went over as she sighed.
"That had more distress than the argument last week." She scoffed as he joined her. "So what's up?"
"It's this group of Rangers. I've said I'm a solo force, but the Chairperson told me that if I don't use this or the next group to demonstrate leadership, I'm getting moved to a base with a leader I'll have to report to." Purvis whistled softly.
"Your nemesis. Hm..." He glanced at her. "You know, it sounds like she's not asking you to work with them. Just lead them. From what I've seen, these guys are the worst they could've sent down." Parchment paused.
"Really?"
"Definitely. But that's just my analysis." She hummed. "Two of them, Jack and Leanne, are completely hopeless. Jack gets a panic attack just at the thought of a solo mission and I'm wondering if Leanne has a brain in there. Midnight, one of the others, has a sleep issue that seems to be the opposite of yours. I've never seen a kid sleep like him, but then again I deal with you." She chuckled. "The only one I can't solve is Crepe, the officer. The others pick on him about skill and don't get me started about the looks he gives people. I wonder if he has field experience." Purvis sighed. "But like I said, that's just what I see. You may be better at deciphering the group." He hummed. "Maybe that's what the Chairperson wants. For you to find and fix their flaws." She hummed.
"Maybe... I can use that thinking to actually try to do something." She smiled at him. "Thanks. I needed some way to push past that mental barrier."
"No problem. And good luck."
~~~

She slipped in the back door, hearing the group talking. They were obviously targeting Crepe at the number of harsh words that followed. She glanced at Pichu before taking a deep breath. She went into the main room before speaking.

"Alright. Line up. We have things to do."
