Today, I'd like to talk about Artemis's intelligence. I have been on a tirade trying to figure out at the very least, an estimate of his IQ. Each article, each stub, each comparison I went through only told me things that I already knew. Despite this, there is an estimate that seems to show up on an average. That is 200+. (Can Arty get more MAIN CHARACTER than this)?

Then, I got curious. I wondered exactly what my IQ was. I took a test and then in the end, it asks for my email in order for it to give me my results. Normally, I don't go further than this, however, on a whim, I decided to type in my email address and waited for the page to load my results. Then, in a classical case of "life hates me and is trying to screw me up in every possible way," the website asks for money in order to give me my results. If that's not infuriating, I don't know what is.

One thing led to another and then I started wondering the estimated IQs of the other characters. I remembered that I have a fandom on my hands, so I have decided to ask you all, what IQ do you think the following characters would have? (This is simply an estimate and you are not required to ponder on the exact number). All you have to do, is type in your estimate next to the name of the character.

Now, I've made it clear that I am jealous of Artemis's intelligence quotient in the title itself. (Anyone else feel the same way)? I mean, imagine being that level of sassy and confident, AND having the means to back up said sassiness and confidence. No wonder his pride is off the charts.

Have you noticed how most fictional characters with exceptionally high intelligence tend to be cold, independent, confident (at least on the outside), narcissistic, not exactly empathetic, etc.? This is something that I have picked up on for quite some time now, and I am sure many others have as well. Why is this so? I thought that perhaps this is simply a common trope amongst highly intelligent characters, however, upon doing a little bit of research on this topic, I have quickly come to realize that isn't all there is to it. These traits are apparently also commonly found in extremely intelligent people in real life.

Because of this, I have decided to do a personality study on Artemis Fowl. I'm not sure when I will be posting that chapter, however, you can expect it to be coming soon!
