(Name) walked out of the hospital doors, Naruto cradled in her right arm and a fuming Sasuke holding her left hand.

"Moooom! I want some dango!" Sasuke demanded, stopping in his tracks making (Name) stop also.

"Sasuke, I thought you didn't like sweets." (Name) deadpanned.

"I-I want to try it. Aniki likes dango.." Sasuke huffed, snatching his hand from (Name)'s and crossing his arms.

Sasuke stomped his foot.

"Sasuke, please stop. People are staring." (Name) pleaded, grabbing Sasuke's small arm.

"NO! I WANT DANGO!" Sasuke yelled, causing people to look over at them.

(Name) smacked Sasuke on the back of his head.

"Let's. Go." (Name) said, a scary aura began surrounding her.

Sasuke whimpered and scurried ahead, forgetting about wanting dango.

(Name) entered Sarutobi's office, not even bothering to knock.

She stomped up to his desk, slamming her free hand on the desktop.

"Aye, why'd you leave me with... kids?!" (Name) practically shouted but remembered she had a sleeping baby in her arms.

Sarutobi let out an amused chuckle and blew smoke out from his pipe.

"Well, you know, both the Uchiha and Uzumaki clan have entrusted you to take care of their child." Sarutobi explained, a smirk grazing his face.

"What..." (Name) had a confused look on her face.

Sasuke tugged on her hand.

"Mommy! What does, 'entrusted' mean?" Sasuke asked with an innocent look that could melt even the coldest of hearts.

"Um, well, I... guess it means that someone trusts you to do something. Like, say I gave you a kunai to hold. I would trust you to keep it safe from anyone else." (Name) explained.

Sasuke nodded his head, seeming to be in awe.

Sarutobi leaned back in his chair, smiling slightly at the scene in front of him.

(Name) sure has grown, hasn't she?

From that little bratty prankster, to a full-fledged Jounin in just two years.

Boy, does time fly.

After a rather loud argument with Sarutobi, (Name) just succumbed and promised to care for the two children.

(Name) grumbled incoherent words as she dragged Sasuke to her apartment.

"Mommy, where are we going?" Sasuke asked.

"Home." (Name) answered begrudgingly.

"But home is the other way!" Sasuke exclaimed, pointing in the opposite direction, towards the Uchiha compound.

(Name) sighed, completely forgetting about that.

She stopped walking and looked down at Sasuke.

"Well, you see, we can't go that way. We're moving!" [Name] tried to say as enthusiastically as possible.

Sasuke stared up at [Name], his eyes wide.

"Really?! Let's go, mommy!" Sasuke exclaimed, gripping [Name]'s hand tighter and dragging her in the direction she was originally going.

[Name] unlocked her apartment door and stepped in, careful not to drop a sleeping Naruto. It was about 11 o' clock at night, and [Name] was tired.

And when [Name] was tired, she was grumpy.

Really grumpy.

"Mommy.. I'm tired." Sasuke whined, shuffling his now bare feet into the carpet.

"I know, just lay down on the bed." [Name] replied monotonously.

"B-but--"

"Go." [Name] growled dangerously, her eyes shadowed.

Sasuke nodded vigorously with a fearful expression in his face and ran down the hallway towards [Name]'s room.

[Name] sighed and looked around her apartment, trying to find a place to put Naruto.

She most definitely couldn't put him in her bed; she was a very aggressive sleeper and would probably either squash Naruto or accidentally kick him off the bed.

[Name] placed Naruto on her couch and grabbed a bunch of pillows and blankets, making a make-shift barrier around Naruto.

Once Naruto was secure and snug, [Name] shuffled her way to her bedroom.

Sasuke was laying down on the bed quite stiffly, almost like he was planking. He turned his head to look at [Name] with a fearful expression on his face before pretending to be asleep.

"Sasuke, I'm not gonna beat you or something. Go to sleep." [Name] said, laying down next to him.

Sasuke nodded and closed his eyes, his muscles relaxing.

He cuddled up to [Name], causing [Name] to stiffen a bit.

After a while, they both fell asleep.
