Kingscross station, a place Ashley Black always wanted to visit.
Her family never let her go since it was always full of muggles and their was much faster ways of traveling.
She looked round her room, the last time she would see it until Christmas, the dark grey walls were slowly fading colour. The small bed and room. And her most prize possession, a picture of herself and her dad, she was very young when the picture was taken but she remembered it so well. She sits on her bed and sighs she will miss this place, no matter how dark and old fashioned it is.

9 3\4 that's where she had to go, Ash had found Hermione but their was no Harry and Ron in sight. It was strange she was sure she had seen all the other Wealsey get on the train and Ginny had said Harry was with them for the last few days of the summer holidays. Ginny, Hermione and Ashley all found a compartment to themselves, Hermione talked to us about Hogwarts and all the other things she new so far about Hogwarts.

1 hour had passed and Harry and Ron had still not showed up. They were all getting suspicious and worried about what might have happened.

Soon Hogwarts came into view and they all got changed into their robes. Ashley stepped outside of the compartment to wander around. She began her journey and as she was waking she bumped into Draco. He glared at her as she passed him on the train, but before she could be had stoped her.
"You know what happens to blood traitors"
I stood still staring angrily at him, he smirking to himself, leaving Ash standing alone once again in her thoughts.

Time had passed and Hogwarts had gotten much closer, she could now see the water surrounding the castle and the bridges. The train soon come to a stop. Everyone rushed to get out the train and into the cold night air. The first years began to walk towards a extremely tall man, who looked like a giant, called Hagrid once all the first years were gathered he lead them towards some small boats, they all jumped in them and they began moving on there own.

Their was suddenly a loud splash a boy had fallen into the water. Everyone looked at him, some looked confused and concerned but some were laughing. He got back in the boat and we all continued moving with the boy drenched and embarrassed.

They all got off the boat and went up the stairs to the great hall and was told to wait for a teacher. Once the time had come and a teacher by the name of professor Mcgonagall had approached the year group and told them,
"Your houses will be like your family for the rest of your time here at Hogwarts, treat them like you should, work hard and you will earn house points, good luck."
People  began to whisper as the doors opened as the professor waved her hands, the boy who fell out now had a camera and was taking pictures, left, right and centre.
As the crowd of people gathered round the ground they started calling names, then she heard her name be called.
"ASHLEY BLACK"
People moved out of her way to let her through, this was it, her home for the next 7 years of her life, she hoped she would get Gryffindor her uncle, Sirius got it and she looked up to him.
Ashley began to walk up to the stool, arms shaking, people beginning to whisper.
