"Annie?" 

I quickly turned back and pushed him aside with all my force as he fell on the floor making a shrill cry?

"Ah! It hurts" he said "Sorry, if I scared you"

"A-Antony?" I cried and went to him, hugging him tightly "Are you okay?"

"Yes I'm but I don't remember why I'm in this state" he said, holding his head "Seems like they really beat me up" he laughed a little before adding "Don't kill them, ok?"

"I-i am sorry, it's my fault to leave you here and I promise I will save you. Nothing will happen, you're not supposed to die!" I cried.

"Hey what are you saying, stupid?" He asked "Once they find the real victim then everything will be fine. Just trust James" at this point of time I don't know what to say. He doesn't even know what's going on and what will I explain to him?

"Antony, let's go from here!" I said.

"But-"

"You don't know what's going on. I'll explain later but if James catches you now then he'll kill you. Please come with me!" I said. He looked at me with a tensed filled eyes half filled with confusion but he nodded.

I looked here and there and then we quickly moved outside and locker and decided to go from the back of the police station when we heard some people say.

"Stupid me, forgot to lock the door!" It's seems Simon.

"Let's hurry then!" Another one Said. We didn't had much time and we have to leave before the light comes. 

We crossed the rooms carefully and about to go out when James came in front.

"Annie, what are you-" he was about to ask but stopped "You set him free?!" 

I pushed him all my force and hit him with ten chair "Antony! Run!"

"Force!!" James yelled "They are running away! Catch them!"

Shit! We came out of the police station and ran in the direction towards the forest because from there it would be hard to catch us.

The cops were set out with the cars as we kept running. It's becoming hard Antony to run as he was badly injured but still he tried. He hid behind the trees and were finding opportunity to run.

We were running for our lives untill we found ourselves surrounded by the cops near the river.

"Annie, don't do something reckless and come with us!" James said as his head was bandaged.

"So that you can kill him huh?" I shouted.

"Trust me, he too dangerous and one day you'll also be killed by him!"

"What are you saying?!" Antony finally Said, everyone looked at him as his face held an unknown fear "I'll never kill my sister and I'm not the victim! Why don't you understand!"

"See Annie, doesn't remember also. Please dear, listen to me" James said, coming out of his car.

"No" I said and took a step backwards holding Antony's hand.

"Please Annie?"

"No" another step before shouting "Antony JUMP!" I said and both of all jump into the river. Among the tides we dived into the water, swimming and sailing to the other direction. I'm happy that... they won't be able to catch us now. The water was chill and I didn't knew when I lost my conscious...

"Open your eyes, Annie"

"Can you hear me?"

"Please open your eyes, you're scaring me now"

I opened my eyes slowly and saw Antony already crying "Antony, are you alright?"

"Yes I'm and I'm glad that you're also fine" he smiled, wiping his tears as I sat up. I huffed and squeezed the end of my shirt to put out the water.

"Where are we?" 

"This place seems to unknown to me and looks like a old construction site, abandoned many days ago" he replied and I looked around. Hopefully, we are safe. We decided to spent the day there only and I had to tell him everything also. They I guess we will move to another city.

I looked at my phone, hopeless tried to switch it on, knowing it's useless but surprisingly it opened "My phone is working!" I said, excitingly.

"Wow! That's great! Mine is already dead" he said and threw it away as I laughed

"I can finally call Ash and ask for help" I smiled "But before that, let's go inside the building and think to fill out tummy"

"Should I go nearby to find?" Antony asked.

"No need, just go inside the building and find a suitable place. I'm going to see if there are shops nearby or not. Well, do you have money?" I asked. He took out his wet wallet and some wet money.

"Will it be okay?"

"I guess I will manage" I said and went in search of food. I found a fruit seller so brought some fruits. Then I came back and we finally ate something and those fruits felt like heaven, atleast for me.

Next I had to told Antony everything which was really hard for me and he actually told me that he was depressed but didn't thought it would turn so worst.

"I can't believe it but...if I really became inhuman then you shouldn't have freed me. It's dangerous right?" He said with a pitiful smile.

"What nonsense! You're my one and only Brother and I know you won't hurt me" I said as he carsed my face.

"I won't" he smiled.

It was evening, we spent the whole day thinking what to do next and what exactly happened last night. It was sure a long and a bit too long conversation to discuss about.

"Hello" I almost forgot to call Ash but luckily he called me just now.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm fine and Antony too" I smiled "You know, lot of things happened?"

"Yes, I got to know from James" he said.

"Oh! That old hag actually told you?" I said, becoming a bit irritated "But brother is not a monster, you believe it right?"

"....Y-yea, I do" he said and sighed heavily "Where are you?"

"I'm in the old abandoned building on the other side of the river. And hey, don't let the cops know about it" I said.

"Sure, take care" he said and hanged up. I hoped that he would tell that he will come here to look for me but seems like I grew up a high expectation and I can't blame him after what happened yesterday and Antony also can't trust himself now.
