It was probably 8 pm and I am going to be sleeping in a hollow tree tonight. I forgot to bring blankets and pillows and I am too tired to do a spell so I guess I will be sleeping cold tonight. I raise my legs to my chest as the strong winds grow stronger by the minute. I heard a twig slightly snap about 5 yards away I was too afraid and tired to care who it was. They came closer and I just shut my eyes. I didn't care if they were going to kill me after all I am a monster. But they did something unexpected. They laid a blanket on me and laid down next to. I look where they were. "E-Enki?" I whispered. He smiled softly. "Yeah?" He whispered."W-Why are you h-here, n-no one likes me.." I shivered. He came closer to me and made me cuddle him but at least I was warm. "Because I know that you aren't a monster, I am one for doing  all those things I did to you.." He whispered tearing up. I cuddle closer to him blushing slightly. "It's okay You just wanted to be popular everyone does and people always hurt me so it's normal.." I say crying a little. He wipes my tears. "Hey... Shhh I'm here and I will always care for you, I like you Kiu.." He whispered. "Y-You do?" I blushed madly. "Heh yeah... I do.." He whispered. "I-I need to tell you something..." I shivered as the harsh winds blew past us under the big willow tree. " yeah Kiu?" He asked holding me closer. I was nervous, would he hate me if I told him? " uhm...I'm being hunted.." I whispered loud enough for him to hear. He didn't say anything for a few minutes. I was upset, maybe he didn't like me anymore. As j get up to leave he grabbed me and hugged me tight. "Please please please don't get hurt Kiu..." He whispered. I sighed. "Heh I'll try.." I looked down."no Kiu that's not good enough look at me and promise me you won't get hurt.." He said seriously. I looked at him with my hands behind my back. "I promise I won't get hurt," I said. He smiled. "Good I should go my parents think I went on a walk.." He whispered. I nodded. He hugged me once again and left. But he didn't know that I crossed my fingers at the promise. I can't keep promises to liars. I know he doesn't really like me... I can tell...I mean no one ever likes a monster. It is just a act he is doing to embarrass me. I heard anther twig snap as the night got darker and the high winds blew through my face. Someone punched me in the stomach.  I groan in pain as they kept kicking me and punching me in the stomach. I look up to see June one of the popular girly girls. "Stay away from Enki he is mine you hear!" She yelled in her scrilly voice. I nodded in pain as she left. I slowly and painfully got to my bag and grabbed a spell book. I weakly grabbed a blanket as it was freezing out here. I looked for a healing spell and found one. "N'By" I chanted 5 times as the pain went away and I was so tired I passed out cuddling with the warm blanket.
