Cody sat in the back of his parents' newly bought white 1997 Audi A6 Wagon. It was weird having the driver's side be on the left, but thankfully his dad knew how to drive it, unfortunately, he had told Cody on Sunday that he was going to be forced to learn how to drive here before he graduated.

His sister, Veronica, was now a freshman, which meant the Wilson family only had to go to the high school, thankfully. Cody watched the scenery go by from the left window as he thought about the new school. He hadn't texted or called Mika and had promptly forgotten about him, for the most part.

His dad pulled the car up to the front of Wheaton High School(or WHS for short) and turned to face his kids as his wife did the same. "Now remember Cody, as Veronica's older brother you have to protect and help her, ok, and try doing a little better with your grades this year, we really wouldn't want you repeating your senior year, especially being the new kid the first time around," his mom said caringly. "And if anyone says anything negative about your accent, tell them theirs is bland," His dad said only half-jokingly.  "And remember, we both love you!" They got out of the car quickly, but their parents wouldn't leave. The kids rolled their eyes and went, "We love you both too," and with that, the car finally drove off.

After the car left them, the siblings turned to look at the looming school as kids filed their way through the entrance from buses. Veronica grabbed onto his arm as they tried staying together as they forced a path to the office.

Once they arrived, they looked at the woman sitting at the front desk. She had a name tag on her red shirt that said, "Koki Bambrick." She had poofy black hair, dark freckles, and brown eyes, which moved over to look at the two kids as she noticed their presence. "How may I help you two?"

"We're looking for Mrs. Jackson's office, " Cody said, hoping he remembered the principal's name correctly. "Ah, first door down that hall on the left." She pointed to the right of her, where a hall stood. The siblings thanked her and walked to the door, knocking and getting answered by a "Come in" 

Cody pushed the door open and entered, followed by his sister. "Ah, you two must be the new students, Cody and Veronica Wilson, I presume, am I correct?" they nodded shyly, and she laughed. "It's OK, you can talk, I'm not going to give you detention for no reason." They smiled at that when there was another knock at the door "Ah, it must be your guys' tour guides for your classes, I chose them because they share most of your schedule, they also asked persistently, COME IN!"

Cody looked over, and his blood ran cold. It was the guy in green from the café, Mika. He'd forgotten that they were going to the same school. As soon as Mika saw Cody, his face lit up. Cody, you're here!" He said, waving at the brunette. Cody only responded with a chuckle before the principal spoke again.

"I see you two have already met. Since you guys have already been introduced, we'll just focus on these two." Before she could even finish that sentence, the two girls were already chatting up a story. "Excuse me, girls?" They stopped talking and apologized quietly. "No, no, it's fine. Cody and Veronica Wilson are new students from London.  is a senior, and Veronica is a freshman.  Now, this is Mika and Missy Taylor, both a senior and another freshman. I have chosen them to be your guides due to your similar schedules. Speaking of schedules, here they are. " She handed the two ravenettes their schedules and smiled."You can get on to class now before you're late. "

Mika closed the door behind the four of them and turned to Cody smiling. The two girls had already hurried away to their first period, Mr. Jackson's(who everyone just called Percy) history class, leaving the two guys alone again.

"You never contacted me." Was the first thing said from Mika as they started walking, and he sounded sad about that fact. It took all of Cody's might to not just stare and admire Mika's face.

He responded before he got lost in the guy in green standing in front of him. "Oh, sorry about that, I forgot. Not that you're forgettable, I mean I was just busy." Cody closed his mouth and internally slapped himself for that response.

Mika smirked. "Aww, how could Georgie forget the amazing Mika?" He acted offended.

Cody rolled his eyes but truly did smile. "Just shut up and get us to class. What's our first?"

Before Cody could do anything, the guy in green stopped them in the middle of the hall and faced him, coming closer to Cody's left ear.
"Chemistry"
