Carrie and Flapjack were walking along the docks and Carrie stopped to see the massive town in front of them. She was speechless...

Flapjack then stood beside her and asked "Whatcha looking at?"

"This!" Carrie said in wonderment as she stared at the large town of Stormalong Harbour. They stared at the town for few moments

"Yeah..." Flapjack said as he stared at Carrie with her being completely unaware.

Carrie then felt something touch her hand, it was a warm feeling that then circulated her whole body. She looked down and saw...Flapjack's hand. Her cheeks turned tomato red.

"Come on! Let me show you around!" Flapjack said cheerfully as he pulled her along.

Carrie had seen many cool things in the town that day! They saw the school were Flapjack went to and met Mrs. Leading, they went to see Dr. Barber who also introduced Carrie to his mother. Carrie found him kinda strange....

"Here we are! My favorite place in all of Stormalong, The Candy Barrell!" Flapjack exclaimed

Well, it really was a barrell, it looked like a bar to Carrie, so she was a little skeptical to go in, but Flapjack's hand pulled her in anyway.

They entered the barrell. Flapjack and Carrie approached the counter and sat on the barstools.

From there, a man behind the counter, with similar glasses as Carrie's showed his face.

"Well, hiya Flapjack!" He said with a gummy smile and turned to look at Carrie.

"Who is this?" He asked as he slightly pointed at her.

"This is my new friend, Carrie!" Flapjack replied as he put his arm around Carrie's shoulder. Carrie blushed.

"Carrie this is Peppermint Larry!" Flapjack said happily

Flapjack then giggled to himself and whispered "Carrie, Larry, Carrie, Larry"

Carrie then shook Peppermint Larry's hand and said "Nice to meet you."

Larry then put am elbow on the counter and asked "So, did you just move here?"

Carrie hesitantly replied "Well,-"

Larry interrupted by saying "Hold that thought. I think Candy Wife should meet you! I'll go get her!

Carrie gave Flapjack a confused glance and asked "Who's Candy Wife?"

"You'll see.." Flapjack giggled

A few moments later, Peppermint Larry walked out with a woman made entirely out of candy!

"Okay...this guy is married to candy! This town just gets weirder and weirder..." Carrie thought to herself

"This is Candy Wife!" Peppermint Larry said as he wrapped his arm around the candy coated woman.

Carrie nervously shook Candy Wife's hand and said "Nice to meet you miss, heh heh."

Larry then put an ear to Candy Wife's
mouth, as if she we're whispering to him...Larry then turned to face Carrie and said "Do you like candy, Carrie?"

Carrie had never usually eaten candy because Mrs. Kankerbottom used to "confiscate" it every time she had any. She had to eat it at school in secret. Nevertheless, she loved it!

"Boy do I ever!" Carrie replied with a giggle.

Peppermint Larry took a glass mug and started dispensing candy.

"Well, since you're new here, I'll give you a free cup of candy!"

Flapjack's jaw dropped

"Wow! Thank you!"Carrie replied happily as Larry set the mug on the counter.

Carrie looked at the mug in wonderment.

"Whoa! Look at all the candy! It's all the classic stuff! Caramel pieces, peppermint, gumballs and little chocolates!"

As she took one piece of candy out, Flapjack said, "Larry, have you seen K'nuckles around?"

Larry replied with a frown, "Oh, he's in the trash out back...He's been there for a few hours"

Flapjack giggled "Oh, Cap'n!"

Flapjack then took Carrie's hand again and pulled her along as he ran out the doors.

Slightly alarmed, Carrie said "Wait! Flapjack! I don't know if I'm allowed to take this out-"

But they were out before she could finish...And Peppermint Larry didn't seem to mind
