Since the UDA arrived Remnant, the world has changed ever since. After Sienna officially declared disbanding of the White Fang, she transformed into a new paramilitary organization calledThe Grey Fang. The purpose  is to rescue Faunus from SDC mines in different locations of each continent and subordinate to MAF. This Grey Fang under the command of Sienna Khan acted independently and they fought alongside the Menagerie Armed Force. They went to Mistral to take out any White Fang cells that are loyal to Adam Taurus. Meanwhile, President Ghira has met with UDA leaders to have more industrialization for his nation to increase the economic system. They also have plans for a project to build their own flying ship just like UDA. The UDA sells products to Menagerie to try out Earth and Alien products that are new to Faunus people. The people are really happy to try out new things from the UDA and hope they continue their diplomatic relationship with them. While the Republic of Menagerie has a strong diplomatic relationship, there are others who have plans to be independent nations of their own.

Solitas

The Happy Huntresses return to Mantle City secretly pass through Atlas patrol forces. Robyn tells her fellow huntresses to invite everyone in Mantle to a secret place and avoid getting Atlas attention of their whereabouts. At night time, everyone is in the place as Robyn and her huntresses are on the stage. She tells everyone of what she was being told from UDA and the true history behind Remnant. She also brought Daelaam a dark templar when he made an appearance in front of everyone, which surprised to see a real life alien. Now everyone sees she's telling the truth and a 'New World' at the other side of the world is a promised land for them to leave the shadow of Atlas and preserve their new life. It is also that UDA colonized territories and Robyn trusted them so that makes them their ally. A Dark Templar tells them about the warp gate they established to get them to Facultas. They will leave tomorrow morning and so, everyone leaves to prepare their stuff to leave Atlas forever.

The next morning, 80% of Mantle residents go to Happy Huntresses leading to the sewer tunnel to leave Mantle city. The others remain in the city not knowing Robyn's plan, which she regrets of not bringing all of them, but that could get Atlas attention of her whereabouts so she made a choice, and that choice is a right one for her people to live a new life there in a promised land. They reached Protoss' secret outpost where they ready the warp gate to be activated. They entered a warp gate as they were teleported to Facultas. They were welcomed by UDA citizens as well as Menagerian to be part of the continent. After they arrive in the promised land, they establish the settlements with the help of GDI, Terran Dominion, and UGSE. 10 weeks later, the settlements turn into cities, Robyn Hill was elected by her people to be a leader and she accepted that responsibility. She read books from UGSE of different kind of government system. She speaks to her people to start becoming an independent nation and it will be called Republic of Facultas and the capital is New Mantle City. She made a statement to her people.

"We may leave our former home so we can live in a new home in this promised land. Atlas may have Mantle, but they can't take our Mantle spirit away. We break free from the rich and tyranny, and finally, we are free!"

Her inspiring speech makes everyone cheer for her. The UDA and Menagerie recognize it as a sovereign independent nation. She became the first female president seated in the position of leadership. The other Happy Huntresses have other roles in the country. Joanna Greenleaf become a first female general of Facultas republic and Ministress of Defense who charge of running a newly establish military, May Marigold become a Ministress  of the Department of Economic Affairs, and Fionna becomes Robyn's advisor and bodyguard to ensure no one will try assassinating her. The UDA built an embassy in the Republic of Facultas and Facultas built their embassy in UGSE territory. The Republic of Facultas became the new home of Facultasian people to leave Atlas and build a new home, a new nation to provide for themselves. It also means that they become allies to the UDA and sign both the defense pact and non-aggression pact as they have diplomatic relations with them.

Sanus

Before the UDA colonized the 'New World' they sent to Sanus where the Kingdom of Vale is located. They are able to avoid their presence within the territory. They establish a secret base when they report that the village was under attack by Grimms, so without a moment to wait they decide to save them. The Grimms destroy everything, find and kill everyone they see. The villagers are cowering in fear and the militias are defeated. They are about to die when the UDA arrives, killing every Grimm in the area. After they take care of the creatures, they give them medical treatment and gather dead bodies in the area to be buried. They thanked an unknown group that has advanced military weapons, arsenals, and equipment different from Atlas. Then 4 days later, they receive word from a village that Sumire settlement is under attack by White Fang. The UDA arrived in the settlement to take out the White Fang members terrorizing the town. The UDA won the battle and the remaining members of the White Fang surrendered while most were dead. When they were cleaning up the mess, they met a man named George Copper, a former politician who wanted to reform the system, but he lost the election due to populism and some people are anti-Faunus, so he decided to leave politics behind and stay with his people in the settlement. He thanked them for saving his people and wanted to know who they were. The UDA are authorized to tell them about their origin.

 Astonishing of their origin, he welcomed Remnant and hoped they would make good relations between them. Later, they give them books from UGSE to know everything about Earth knowledge. When George read books from Earth, he began to follow Earth's ideals to improve their lives and provide for themselves without calling help from Vale. Since they are born in an outer settlement, they were barely contacted by the Vale Kingdom unable to provide for them of protection and the huntsmen they get help have become mercenaries instead of a symbol of protector. This something the people really hate of the kingdom have abandoned them, so they decide to form a new kingdom, no, a new nation as George said. He began gaining support from the people of Sumire settlement then he got support from other settlements as well. All settlement leaders have a meeting saying that they should follow Earth knowledge and philosophy that help them to build a new nation and they need help from the UDA to gain their goal. The leaders accepted that idea and they picked George Copper as their leader. Thus, the Union Republic of Sanus was born. He contacted the UDA to provide them with weapons, resources, and arsenals to build up an organized military group in order to establish a new nation.

 The UDA had a debate on this decision, and they came to an agreement on one condition that they allow to establish a base in their soil. He accepted a term at the UDA. The people began industrializing and agriculture to produce more foods and resources for a new nation. They cut down trees to make more lands to establish and make roads to connect each settlement. Things went great, however, they fear that Grimm, bandits, or White Fang will attack them, so they establish a military. The people volunteered to become organized militias calling themselves the Unionmen. They wear blue uniforms similar to American Civil War Union uniforms and they wear helmets from WW1 American helmets. 

Thanks to UDA military instructors to help URS, the simple militias transform into well-organized soldiers. The UDA cannot give advanced weapons to them, but they can give them the old conventional weapons, ammunition, and equipment from Earth. They also give blueprints for them to build their own arsenals. For 5 months later, the settlements transformed into city states combined into a Union government. With a government established, the military becomes more organized and better than Atlas to fight against any threats coming to their nation. The Union seized abandoned mines from SDC and claimed it as their own to gain more resources. With President George Copper under control, he made an alliance with UDA and the new Remnant nations and signed a nonaggression pact. Not only that, they also give them a piece of land for their colonized territory, which he is happy to hear. He sent some people there to establish settlement in colonized territory.

They are now part of 'New World' colonized land. Only a piece of land still not claimed to others. The Union sent troops to march toward Grimm territories to claim their territory. They see White Fang, a small base station there waiting to attack them. But the White Fang never meets an organized army that is not from Atlas. To them, they just see an army of militias and they can handle them, but they never expect they have military vehicles. The Faunus within the Union army don't mind killing their own brethren as they are the ones attacking their peaceful villages and settlement and their hatred toward White Fang crush them in fiery attacks. They took over the base and station there for a minute. The Union plan has only one goal: To take over Mt. Glenn to access more territory and resources for people to live there as if they were descendants of Mt. Glenn Citizen manages to escape from Grimm attacks to a nearby village or settlement.

When the Union Republic of Sanusia established and to expand territory from Grimm territories, the Vale Kingdom had their attention to see what's going on there.

"This is Lisa Lavender of Vale News Network, this just in, the armed militia are wearing what appears to be a military uniform. The travelers witness them battle against Grimm. They claim to be the people of outer settlement and they are well-organized like the White Fang. They also possess some military vehicles that are very unknown to the public. The people are questioning their motives on this day as they expand the territory, riding Grimms without relying on huntsmen. The council has discussed this matter, no return comment from the council yet. Meanwhile, Atlas military force led by General Ironwood arrived as they are here for security as the Vytal Festival is coming up. However, since the armed militias from outer settlements expanded territory, Gen. Ironwood ordered his troops to station outside the border to keep an eye on them if they become hostile. That is all now, this is Lisa Lavender, signing off."

Cafeteria, Beacon Academy

(After stopping White Fangs at the docking bay)

The students go to get the food after they finish the class. Team RWBY and JNPR were at the table eating together when they listened to the news broadcast to the public.

Lisa Lavender (on tv): We are in what some sort of former White Fang base that these militias just took over a few days ago. They allow us to interview one of them before they begin to go to battle against another Grimm territory in the West-North area. We talked to one of the militia here. Excuse me, may I ask you a question for everyone who wants to know your intention. What is the reason you joined this militia army?

A militia who happens to be not only Union soldiers, but she is a fox Faunus when she removes a helmet revealing her ears on the head. She spoke about her question.

Female Union soldier (on tv): Militias? We are not some militia, Ms. Lavender. We are the soldiers of the Union. We settlers of outer settlements had enough under the kingdom's reign as they barely helped us to defend our home when we were attacked by Grimm, bandits, and White Fangs. But we were able to defeat them but it cost a few casualties and since the kingdom was unable to defend our home we decided to become an independent nation on our own. I joined the army so we can have enough land for our people to live in without fear. We push those Grimm back where the hell they come from, and we have enough land for ourselves.

Lisa Lavender (on tv): You mention about the White Fang? What can you tell me about them?

Female Union soldier (on tv): I say go to hell with them. They attack the villages where both human faunus live peacefully and not involve violence, but they leave us no choice so we fight them and they are defeated by our might of determination. I don't care they are my brethren, they betraying their own kind when the White Fang turn violent terrorist organization.

Union officer (on tv): *background* Corporal Veilrza, return to your regiment!

Female Union soldier (on tv): Yes sir! That is all for now.

She leaves the interview to return her regiment.

Lisa Lavender (on tv): You hear it , everyone. The settlers of outer settlements have declared independence from the Vale kingdom and march to Grimm territory for expansion.

Weiss: I can't believe I'm hearing this.

Jaune: That's crazy! They declared independence from the Vale kingdom and they have well-organized soldiers marching to Grimm territory.

Yang: At this rate, they'll claim a large land for themselves. I must say, they don't rely on huntsmen anymore as they have their own military.

Blake: I- I can't believe the White Fang attacks them. B-But why did the Union kill them? They were misguided.

Weiss: Maybe some surrendered to them and the Union placed them in prison. Maybe.

Blake: Maybe?

Ruby: Guys, guys, there's nothing to worry about. Let's just hope there will be no war.

Pyrrha: We hope so. I saw some students leave the academy to join the Union. Perhaps those students are from outer settlements.

Ren: Let's hope the council will make a decision correctly or it will be worse for everyone both Union and Vale.

They nodded at him and continue eating lunch food until they finished and return to class before headed to dorm rooms.

Headmaster Office

Ozpin is sitting on the chair holding a mug in his hand and Glynda is walking around the room when they hear the news.

Glynda: I am shocked to hear they declared independence from the Vale Kingdom. Because they are unable to provide them food, shelter, and protection they increase an army of the so-called Union to expand territories from Grimm.

Ozpin: Yes. But we must ensure that they don't want war on us. Since this kingdom failed to provide for them, they have the right to become independent.

Glynda: This Union is made up of smaller kingdoms bent together to fight off the Grimm without relying on huntsmen? Though I fear the council will not like to hear their independence.

Ozpin: I hope so. Though James is at the council building talking to the council.

Glynda: First Atlas comes here for provide security for the upcoming Vytal Festival, and now the Union declared independence. I hope James or the council don't make stupid decision of attacking them.

Ozpin drinked a mug of coffee.

Ozpin: I bet we hope so.

Vale Council Building, Vale Kingdom

Vale councilman 1: The outer settlers declared independence from our kingdom and formed this "nation" called the Union.

Vale councilman 2: Not only declaration of independence, but they raise an army to expand territory from Grimm territory. The only fear is that they will attack us as an act of vengeance.

Ironwood: Council, you don't need to worry about it because I brought my troops to make sure they won't step foot here. In fact, let my troops handle them to take back your land.

Vale councilwoman: That would solve our problem.

She said, hoping to bring down the Union and take back the land rightfully belonging to Vale.

Vale councilman 3: Hold on! We can't wage war on them. In fact, we certainly don't allow foreign kingdoms to engage in war with them. You bring your troops here for security, not wage war.

Vale Councilman 4: I agree with him. We want to avoid war as best as possible to not attract more Grimm to our kingdom and I want to protect our people. I say, we recognize the Union as a sovereign independent kingdom.

Vale councilman 2: But they claimed to be a republic. For what I know, they have their own military.

Ironwood: Wouldn't it be a violation of the Treaty of Vytal after the Great War?

Vale councilman 1: The Union didn't exist before they were born on this day. As a matter of fact, your kingdom has a military right?

Ironwood: You got a point...

Vale councilman 2: Now then, shall we put the vote to recognize the Union independence and sign non-aggression pact to avoid another Great War. All in favor?

The councilmen raised except a councilwoman voted for recognition of Union independence.

Vale councilman 2: All those oppose?

A single councilwoman raised her hand.

Vale councilman 2: Then it's settled. We contact their leader to recognize their nation as independent sovereignty.

The council members agreed with him. A councilwoman is disappointed in voting for independence recognition. Ironwood was too disappointed because he will find out how they were able to gain those military weapons and arsenals, and why the outer settlers become a Union in the first place.

After that, Vale and other kingdoms have recognized the Union Republic of Sanus as independent sovereignty. The Union citizens and military personnel are happy to hear that news. President George Copper signed the non-aggression treaty with the Vale Kingdom hoping to avoid waging war. They set up the border lines between Vacuo and Vale.

But since Atlas troops came to Vale to provide security to the Vytal Festival, they joined with Vale national militias at the border line to keep an eye out on the Union if they turned hostile and waged war on them. They set up a new map and added URS on it. Unknown to the kingdoms, UDA and other allies are celebrated to see URS as an independent nation. But they remain vigilant to keep an eye on Vale or Atlas if they turn hostile to their ally.

Adam's White Fang hideout

Adam watching the Tv hearing a Faunus Union soldier comment makes him angry as he slashes his sword to cut it in half. He takes breath in and out releasing his anger. Hearing a comment from Faunus' soldier about 'no longer their brethren' and attacking his brothers and sisters was seen as traitors to their own kind. He'll make sure the Union will see his wrath of vengeance and unleash his army to destroy them.

Adam: I will make you pay, you Union bastards! You will be suffered by the might of the White Fang!

He shouted really louder in rage.
