I've been writing stories and poetry ever since I learnt how to read and write. In the beginning it was just a hobby of mine, but as I got older, it became my passion and my escape. And ever since I found Wattpad back in 2013, there has been no looking back for me. 

My work here on Wattpad mostly consists of poetry. My completed poetry collection, Desolate, has earned several awards like The Witty Feed's People Choice Awards, Indigo Award, as well as several of the Earnesty Community weekly poetry awards. It was even a Wattpad featured book last year. But most importantly, Desolate has won the hearts of many, and that's what I love the most about being a poet/writer. To be able to make people feel what I feel when writing poetry. 

When I am not scrolling aimlessly through Instagram or reading another bad boy novel , you can find me crying over all the assignments I neglected over the last 8 months (I am a biomedical engineering student hehe). 

Note: I decided to host The Unicorn Poetry Awards to give back something to this wonderful Wattpad Community and to encourage and recognize all the lovely talents here. I really wish you all the best of luck and thank you for choosing to participate.
