Chapter 3

"Harry?"

Her face fell when she saw who it was but nevertheless collapsed into her arms crying.

Ginny clunged to her as if she was a stick to a drowning person.

"G-ginny?" Hermione stuttered.

She rubbed her back soothingly but ginny kept shaking with sobs.

"It's Harry right?" Hermione asked softly pulling back ginny looking into her eyes.

She nodded and then hugged the red head next to hermione who was busy looking at ginny with his mouth hanging open.

"Ron!" She cried into his chest. "Harry! He has just disappeared and I I ca-" she broke down again.

Ron circled his muscular arms around his sister's back clearly in shock with her behavior. She was Ginny, a badass witch and she was crying? She is probably the bravest witch he knew and the last time she cried was when fred died.

It was already bad Harry knocked her up and she's pregnant now, he was already fuming about it but this?

"Hey listen I am going to find him, he probably is pranking you gin, remember his ridiculous so called prank of jumping out of the closet scaring you?"

Ginny chuckled weakly. "He scared the wits out of you Ron."

"Hey! I'm an Auror. A brave one mind you. Harry seriously needs training from George for pranks. Hey It's your anniversary next month isn't it? He will probably forget it and we will bash him up together." Ron said in a cheerful voice in attempt to pacify his Sister.

Ginny started trembling with sobs again.

He looked over hermione helplessly communicating with her through his eyes. Hermione gave an understanding look.

"Gin, I'll make you some hot chocolate okay? You like it don't you?"

She gave hermione a small smile. "Sure." She croaked.

They went inside the huge house and hermione helped Ginny sit on a couch while Ron headed upstairs.

"Look ginny it's no point crying because it's not going to help us find Harry. Now just tell me when was the last time you saw him?"

Ginny looked at the determined brunette. "4 days ago."

"What time?"

"At noon?"

"Did he go to meet someone? Because Aurors had a day off."

"Yeah he went to see McGonagall. She called him for work and when I inquired she is just denied."

Hermione narrowed her eyes. What?

She opened her mouth to continue but was cut off with a loud scream upstairs.

The girls whipped their heads towards the sound. Another scream.

"HERMIONE!!!"

Another piercing scream echoed.

Hermione jumped up and sprang upstairs ginny struggling behind her due to her belly.

"NO! NO HERMIONE!"

"Ron!" Hermione ran towards a room which turned out to be Harry's office and whipped the door open.

She was on the verge of hyperventilating of the scene in front of her.

Ron was bending over her whose hand was cut open and blood pouring out like a waterfall. Hermione near Ron screamed a scream very similar to the one when bellatrix was torturing her.

Ron was crying shaking the hermione in front of him.

"Riddikulus!" Hermione yelled and her body turned into balloon. "HA!" Hermione laughed and the balloon burst in a wisp of smoke.

She knelt down next to Ron who was rocking back and forth hugging himself.

Ginny appeared near the door her red hair all over her face.

"Ron." Hermione whispered softly. Ron looked at her his lip quivering.

"It was just a boggart." Hermione said. "Not real."

She hugged him tight running a hand through his beautiful red hair. "I thought your boggart was a spider?"

"It changed after the war. I can't see you in pain." Ron said, trembling.

Hermione gripped his hair and let out a tear.

"Hermione? What happened?" Ginny asked panting.

"Ron encountered with a boggart and-" Hermione halted, a sudden thought invading her sharp mind.

She pulled away from Ron and stared at ginny. "Gin, what's a boggart doing in Harry's office?"

Ginny stiffened at Harry's name but answered in a firm voice. "I don't know hermione, I rarely enter his office as I was myself busy with resigning from holyhead harpies."

Hermione widened her warm brown eyes. "Ginny, that's very unusual having a boggart in a house. Because the ministry -"

"- has destroyed every dark creature after the war." Ron continued.

Ginny looked at Ron clearly bemused.

"Ginny, ever since Harry and me have become Aurors, we have destroyed every dark creature." Ron said, rummaging in Harry's drawers. "If a boggart is randomly present in a household, there is a possibility of more dark creatures existing."

"What's that got to do with Harry?" Ginny whined tugging at her night dress.

Hermione gave her a serious look. "It has got everything to do with him. Boggart is certainly the least dangerous dark creature but they can start existing only if a dark force has emerged. If it has, Harry is their direct target."

"Hermione, all the death eaters are in azkaban." Ron reasoned with the brunette who was turning her wand between her fingers absentmindedly.

"All are yet to be Ron. Your mission was incomplete regarding capturing dark artefacts from death eaters houses and themselves."

Ron couldn't argue with that. He grinned at his smart wife.

He walked towards ginny and put a hand on her shoulder, still grinning . "I think our know-it-all has an idea about Harry's whereabouts."

Hope you liked this chapter!! Pardon me if you found it Cringeworthy because I really had to push the plot forward and found it best this way. Tbh, I hate Ron, but tried to make him more adorable and brave for Ron lovers. I'm not a big supporter of romione either but still did it.
