Isogai walks anxiously to the Class 3-A classroom with Maehara in silence. The both of them had gotten a message from Asano to meet at that classroom during after school hours in the week where the Board Chairman Asano goes on a business trip. He stated the reason was because some of his classmates would like to meet the two. (Asano also stated that he doesn't know how they managed to find out about the quartet's SECRET friendship.)

"Do you have an idea on why their classmates want to meet with us?" Maehara asked, breaking the silence. "Do you think it had to do with the rumors about me being seen with Sakakibara at the mall?"

"Probably... But it still doesn't make sense if it's just that, I wouldn't be here now would I?" Isogai answered. "I just hope it wouldn't be to bully us to stop hanging out with them, I still haven't planned a thousand murder plans with Asano yet!"

"Only you would think of that..." Maehara sighed. "But I do hope they won't bully us too..."

Isogai frowned. "It's very unlikely they won't bully us though... Considering that this is A Class we are talking about.."

"Yeah.. You're right.." Maehara also frowned.

The two both went silent but they still continued to walk through the long hallways of Kunugigaoka Junior High. They walk with nervousness and slight fear of what the A Class students might do.

After a while, they finally reach the Class 3-A Classroom. They both looked at each other with nervousness. They can hear quiet chatter from inside but they are unable to hear what the chatter is about.

After a few seconds, Isogai gets the courage to knock on the door which makes the chatter stop. They hear a 'Come in!' from a female voice, prompting them to slowly open the door.

They both walk in and see who the students inside were. They see five students, two who look feminine, two who look masculine, and one who looks androgynous. Isogai vaguely recognizes four of them.

"Oh hi! Hello!! Isogai and Maehara, right? Oh it's so good to finally meet you! I use she/her pronouns, by the way!" A feminine student, who has long black hair, dark brown eyes and dark blue glasses, said in excitement, jumping up and down. "Well for Isogai, it's more like a nice to see you again! You remember me right, Isogai? I'm Hotaru! We used to be in the same class in first year!"

Isogai tried to remember her, then did a double take. "Wait huh? You're Hotaru?! As in the Class 1-A Hotaru who used to be shy and always read books?! You act so differently!" He said in shock.

"Bingo! That's me! I decided to go out of my shell and be who I truly am! If you had ever texted me out of school, you would've known! But I don't blame ya! I didn't really talk to others to be able to give my number back then!" Hotaru laughs loudly. "The only person in this school I bother talking to is Yumiko over here!" She points at the other feminine student with straight black hair with bangs, turquoise eyes, and a black bow on top of their head, that he recognizes as Yumiko.

"Hello! Call me Yumiko! I use she/her!" Yumiko smiled at the two E Class students.

"Well, I'm glad you are able to be your true self." Isogai smiled with a hint of sadness, but no one noticed. He truly is happy for her but, in the back of his mind, it screams that unlike him, Hotaru is strong enough to show her true emotions, that unlike him, she's actually happy, that unlike him, she's-

"Y'know I am quite happy for her too but once I actually get to hear about her arsonist dreams actually said in real life, I wished that it stayed in the online world so I can think it's just her online persona." Yumiko said, sighing.

"Aw, come on! You know you love it!" Hotaru grinned and giggled.

"Alright can we get going with the introductions so we can finally discuss? I'm tired of all this talking by Hotaru." A masculine voice said in the back of the classroom.

Isogai looked at the direction of the voice and saw that the speaker was a tall masculine person with straight black hair, green eyes, and glasses.

"Sasaki!" The androgynous one gasped. "Don't be mean! Especially to Hotaru!"

"Hey, it's fine Tanaka! This is Sasaki we're talking about here! There's like no nice bone in his body! Even if there is one, it's probably because he's secretly a softie or it's the smallest bone in his body!" Hotaru chuckled.

Sasaki sighed. "I said this multiple times and I will say it again. I am not a 'softie'."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, mister 'cold as fuck until you give me a hug'!" Hotaru rolled her eyes and chuckled.

Sasaki shook their head and sighed again. "You guys are hopeless." They turned to Isogai and Maehara. "As you already know, I'm Sasaki. I identify as a person who uses he/him pronouns."

"Okay! Okay! My turn! I'm Makoto and I use both he/him and they/them! I don't really have a preference so you interchange them whenever you want!" The younger looking of the masculine students with fluffy and curly light brown hair, and light brown eyes, Makoto, smiled.

Isogai remembers Makoto, as they were one of the most memorable classmates back in the first year. He is one of the kinder ones in the class, always giving things that comfort others. They always seem to have everything in his bag.

"Well, I guess it's my turn now!" The androgynous one with dark brown hair, tied into a low, short ponytail, and brown eyes spoke up. "I'm Tanaka! And I use he/him!"

Isogai also remembers Tanaka. They were both in 2-B. Tanaka always had this optimistic nature. Whenever someone in 2-B feels horrible, he is always there to lift them back up. He's happy that Tanaka is able to go up a class.

"Well, it's nice to meet you all!" Maehara said.

"Same goes for me, but for Sasaki only." Isogai said. "Oh, and Tanaka! Congrats on going up a class!"

"Thanks! If it weren't for your help and Sasaki going to A Class, I wouldn't have been here!" Tanaka gave a big smile.

"Going to A Class?" Isogai asked, confused.

"Well Sasaki over here-" Tanaka grabbed Sasaki's arm, pulled him to be beside him, and pointed at him. "-used to be in B Class with me but he got transferred to A Class in the second year and I wanted to follow him so I can stay with my best buddy! It took a whole school year but I managed to do it!"

"Ah! I see!" Isogai nodded.

"Um.. well, I want to know why you called us here?" Maehara said. Isogai could tell that he's feeling out of place since he was in D Class for the first two years.

"Ah yes! Thanks for the reminder, Maehara!" Hotaru said. "Well we wanted to know what your intentions are with 'Shuu and Sakakibara!"

"Uh, what?" Maehara said.

"It's simple! Why do you want to hang out with Asano and Sakakibara?" Makoto asked.

"Well, Sakakibara and I wanted to hang out because of our similar personalities. Then we decided to bring Asano and Yuuma to one of our hang-outs just cuz but it resulted to the both of them planning murder so..? I mean I just want to be friends with the two." Maehara said.

"Who in the world are they even killing and.. Why?!" Yumiko sighed.

"We were planning on killing his asshole father!" Isogai grinned.

Yumiko groaned while Hotaru squealed in excitement. "Oh yeah! We are definitely keeping you! Say what do you think about arson?"

"Depends on who's the target. The rich?" Isogai answered.

"Oh fuck yeah! Fuck the rich!" Hotaru cackled.

Isogai cackles along with her while Yumiko and Maehara groan.

"But seriously everyone here agrees that the principal is a horrible parent so we decided as the council of G.P.S. to ask you to join us and protect our class president, Gakushuu Asano!" Hotaru said, with determined eyes.

"Hotaru over here is the president of our unofficial club and Makoto is our vice president!" Yumiko explained.

"Yup! All we really do is have meetings on what to do to stop the horrible principal from hurting and overworking Asano! Then after that we enact our plans!" Makoto smiled.

Tanaka nodded along. "We are here because we want to do our best to make sure Asano gets to be a normal teenager and not bottle up his emotions."

"I'm only here because I was forced to by you and Makoto, Tanaka." Sasaki rolled his eyes.

"Just admit you care, secret softie!" Hotaru yelled.

"I am no such thing!" Sasaki yelled back.

"Are they always like this?" Maehara whispered to Makoto.

Makoto sighs. "Yeah.. I don't think Sasaki really has a good home life.. When Tanaka and I visited his house for a group project, his parents seemed really cold and neglectful that it might have made him not really understand affection." He frowned and looked at the floor. "Tanaka and I want to help him just like we do with Asano. We thought that maybe him joining would let him see that it's okay to open up since he and Asano are quite similar in "personality"."

"You're a good friend, Makoto. I hope your plan works." Maehara pats him on the shoulder.

Makoto looked up and gave a sad smile. "I hope so too."

"Okay! Okay! Enough fighting you two! We still have things to do!"

Maehara and Makoto look at Yumiko, who was the one who yelled.

Hotaru blushed in embarrassment. "Ah yeah.. Oops.. Uh sorry!"

"Yeah sure. Sorry or whatever." Sasaki scoffed.

Hotaru cleared her throat. "So.. uh.. Isogai! Maehara! What do you say? Do you wanna join?"

"Oh absolutely! Asano's a great guy!" Isogai smiled.

"I agree with Yuuma here. Let's help him!" Maehara gave a determined grin.

"Great! Welcome to the Gakushuu Protection Squad! I hope you're ready for what's going to happen for the rest of the school year!" Hotaru smiled.
