The unexpected fairy tale-24

Next day....

She got ready and left to school and finished all her works , calling it the end of this academic session till they reopen schools after two months of summer holidays ....

She happily left to the market nearby and got some necessary things and did good shopping for gifts for her family as well as Neil  for his wedding ....

Finally she reached home and got ready in a simple kurta and leggings .... She kept her packed bags and sat there waiting for charms and her family to start their journey  to Punjab ....

They all sat in the bus and started talking to each other , nandu sat beside charms , both of them got busy in discussing about outfits for the coming functions , charms even shared about Neil's wife. ....

Finally they reached Punjab , Amritsar on the next day morning. ....

Bus stopped near the threshold of a fully decorated house ......

There are many people sitting in the chairs of garden sipping their morning beverages. Chatting with each other ..kids running here and there ...aunties gossiping with each other and eating some breakfast ... Decoration team checking with the arrangements for the upcoming events ....

We can hear loud noises coming from the house which indicates people are dancing in happiness with dhol....

Suddenly they see a girl running out from the house and many running behind her to stop her , she is the bride bcoz she is wearing a cute lengha without any jewellery or make up..... It's like they are trying to stop her from running ....

Ali : Neil what magic did u do man , your bride is running without make up to welcome you ....he said nudging Neil by his shoulder ....

Neil is looking at his cute bride , he expected her to come and hug him but she just pushed him aside making all his friends laugh at him , he is just looking at her in shock bcoz she just jumped on the person he expected the least bcoz it's beyond his expectations......and everyone has the same expression....

" U idiot , stupid , bitch , how dare you ??"  Are heard loudly bcoz avni is continuously cursing and hitting the person she hugged and suddenly they fell on the floor , .....

" Ouch " is heard loudly .....bcoz both of them fell very hard ....but that's not the point , the point is both are pulling each other's hair and fighting like kids ....no one is trying to seperate them bcoz they are in a state of shock ........

Specially avni's mom is watching them with a smile on her face with happy tears ....this made everyone more confused ..The person who is burning in jealousy should be Neil but no it's cabir here ....bcoz his best friend nandu is calling some one as a friend not just friend but best friend ....

Nandu : how dare u bitch ?? You are getting married without me ??? I'm gonna kill you ?? How dare u forget to invite your best friend , saying she started to run behind avni .....

Avni : hey you shortie,  don't you dare blame me , it's you who went missing not me , so don't you dare blame me , saying she ran faster ....

Everyone are watching a free show of Tom and Jerry ......they both are fighting , running , panting what not , just like kids . Avni even forgot that her in laws her and it's her wedding .....

Avni : I hate you , saying she stood beside her mom..... Nandu came running and hugged avni's mom calling her " Maa" , she hugged nandu more tightly which made avni pout as they forgot her so she hugged them both from the side .....

After breaking the hug ....

" Neela maa " , nandu called avni's mom with tears in her eyes and both of them hugged each other with happiness ....

Neela : I missed you so much my baby , she said showering her face with kisses .....

Avni : mumma tell her I'm not talking to her for going missing without any information , she didn't have any idea how  I missed my soul sister , saying she turned her face to the other side making nandu smile her at her antics , even Neil found it interesting bcoz avni never showed tantrums to him in the past few months of their relationship.....even Neela said that she is never demanding at all ......

Nandu : hey avi , I love you , nandu said sitting on her knees in front of avni .....making her cry with happy tears. ....

Avni : finally I got to hear from you , she said with a happy smile. Nandu jumped on her hugging her tight in happiness .....

These both girls forgot the world around them , avni dragged away nandu with her to her room....

That's when Neela noticed everyone ....

Neela : sorry Bhai , bhabi it's just , she just couldn't form words .....bcoz she forgot to welcome them by looking at nandu and avni .....

Naveen( Neil's dad )  : it's okay Neela , bachon ka welcome kare ya humare same hi toh hae .....he said taking her in a side hug ....

Harleen( Neil's dadi )  : sahi keh rahe ho puttar , chale andar ....she asked Neela by giving her blessings like a mother ....

Cabir is sulking like a kid and navya is laughing looking at him , Neil is just looking at the house bcoz there are pictures of avni with her mom but no where with her dad . Even he saw pics of nandu with her in the picture gallery on a wall in the hall .....

Neil's family  and the others are given rooms in the next building which belongs to avni's maternal uncle and only brother of Neela .....

They all left to freshen up and meet for breakfast.....

In Avni's house .....

Avni is still in a shock not believing that nandu is here they both are in tears ......

Neela enters the room to see both of them smiling and crying at the same time .....

Neela : bas bas ....aur nahi rone ka ...enough of tears ....chalo get ready ....nandu I have got your luggage to avni's room , you are staying here with me and avni not with Neil and his family ....

Avni : ofcourse I'm not letting her go , saying she hugs nandu being possessive of her......

Nandu : even I'm not going there bcoz after a long time I get to live with you , how can I go leaving you both ....she says with the same possessiveness ....

Neela : acha u don't know she is the bride till u came here .....she asked sitting beside both of them.....

Nandu : nahi maa , just that Neil said he is getting married and I had to attend , his sister is my student and they all are cabir's family , I couldn't say no bcoz they became good friend in a short span of time ...she said with a cute pout ....

Avni : thanks to cabir bcoz of him only u attended this wedding and I'm more than happy bcoz my wish of my bestie being my bridesmaid is being fulfilled....saying she kissed nandu cheeks .....

Neela : we missed you a lot nandu after graduation,there is no day this idiot didn't try to contact you . She used to cry day and night....I'm glad you are here , yesterday Neil said he is coming here with all his friends and this girl started crying saying you are not here bcoz u are the only friend she had .....she said caressing nandu cheeks. ......nandu smiled brightly holding her hand. ...

Nandu : it's all destiny maa , we met .....she said with happiness radiating her eyes. ...

Avni : okay , leave all this where's amma ?? Call her and ask her to take the next flight here to attend my wedding ....she asked referring to nandu's mom......

Nandu's face became pale listening to avni's wish , she couldn't give her a bad news that her mom is no more bcoz it's her wedding. ....she knew how much avni loved her mom ......

Before nandu could answer .....there is a knock on the door .....nandu sighed in relief bcoz of the person who disturbed them .....
Neela moved to oven the door ....she spoke to the person and came back .....

Neela : Avni it's your Swetha maa , she wants you to go with Neil to the temple before we start with the rituals of the wedding celebrations .....

She said and avni blushed  , nandu started teasing her .....

Nandu : oh hooo....Hayee ladki ....Look at her maa ....that blush ....Neil ke naam se itna blush ......manna padega Neil ko mere friend ko red red bana diya usne ......she said hitting avni shoulder playfully ..... Avni ran away to the washroom to hide her blush .....

Neela : chalo tum bhi ready hojaoo..... She said and left the room...

Nandu : hey bappa , plz let her forget about mom , shaadi ke baad when she will come to Mumbai with us i will tell her everything bcoz I can't let her be sad on her wedding . Plz bappa mere madat Karo ......she was just lost in praying to God that she didn't notice avni is out of the washroom and is wiping her wet face by calling nandu .....bcoz only make up is pending as she already wore her outfit .....

Avni pushed nandu by her shoulder which made her come out of trance ....

Avni : kya soch Rahi ho.....she asked bringing her to reality...

Nandu : nothing main fresh hokar ati hoon , saying she moved to the washroom......

Both of them are getting ready .....suddenly avni exclaimed loudly ....

Avni : oh no ....saying she held her head and sat on the bed ......

Nandu : what's wrong ?? She asked calmly.....

Avni : i was fighting with you , Neil ji and everyone saw that , what would they think of me ?? She said bcoz she realised how she pushed Neil in the morning......

Nandu : it's okay avi , it's what you are , he should know you right ....she said sitting beside her ....

Avni : they don't know that I'm naughty , they thought I'm a good and innocent girl . What will Neil ji think of me ?? She said with a crying face ....

Nandu : Neil ji are u serious , u never respected anyone not even lecturers don't forget that , she reminded her .....

Avni : that avni has been lost after you left her bcoz you are her strength bcoz u always saved her from everyone even when it's her mistake or others  , i became silent like before and I didn't even call him with only his name , he really is a good person and I don't wanna loose him.....she said with a smile ....

Nandu : avi , as far as I know Neil he is in love with you , sorry to spoil the surprise but he will never let you go even if u want to , it's not my words it's his. Stop thinking negative he will never leave you just bcoz u behaved like a naughty girl . Infact he will love u more for being what you are , have u seen Sanju , mouni , charms they will feel one more partner in crime and neil will be more happy .....she said side hugging her ....

Avni : but mom ,dad , bebe , she asked thinking of Neil's family ....

Nandu : i don't know more about them bcoz i only met them last night in the bus , but after what I heard from charms they are too happy to see u as Neil's wife .....so don't think too much , how long can u hide your naughtiness , one day or the other they will get to know , it's better they get to know it before marriage .....so let's go down your getting late for temple ....she said and avni smiled hugging her and both of them left to the hall....

They saw Neil's family along with friends there , avni is still nervous to move forward .....but all of a sudden charms came and hugged her .....

Charms : happy to meet you bhabi , she said and avni hugged her back ....

Avni took blessing from bebe , Swetha and Naveen and stood beside her mom ....

Neela : Avni , you and neil are going to khuldevi mandir for Puja , go ....saying she moved her eyes to Neil who stood up taking car keys from his dad ....

All his friends are giving him teasing looks bcoz he is too desperate to spend alone time with avni ..... But avni is scared to go alone with him.....but still followed him after nandu assured her that everything will be fine ......

They both sat in the car and drive away ....
