The unexpected fairy tale- 23

Even before Karan could lift her , she is in the arms of manik who just held her tight and started walking out , charms is just looking at him shock like everyone there , but none commented about it but followed him . Bcoz Manik is more impatient than anyone out there for nandu bcoz he realised he couldn't live without seeing her , he realised she became too important to him in a short span of time , seeing her cry last night made him go sleepless the whole night . As he got to know she is sick he just wanted to stay with her and take care of her just like he is taking care of his sister . She became precious to him just like his life  .....

They moved to nandu's house and rang the bell , but none opened the door ....

Manik is getting impatient and worried for nandu .... He asked Karan to ring the bell continuously bring scared of her safety ...

There is no response from the other side ....

Manik : I think something is wrong let's break the door. He said and rest all saw him like he has grown two horns in his head ....

Karan : are u serious Manik , she might be sleeping or in some washroom ....let me call her , saying he called her immediately.....

Everyone tried calling but no response ..... everything is completely closed to even know what is happening inside ... ....

" What's happening here ??"  , Came a voice and everyone turned back to see cabir and Navya on the threshold .....

Charms : di , jiju ....when did u come back ???? She asked still in manik's arms ....

Navya : what happened to you ??? She asked looking at the bandage on charms leg .....

Cabir : what's wrong sali saheba ??? You all look worried ..... He asked ....

Manik : i will tell u later everything jiju but nandu is not opening the door for anyone it's been nearly an hour we are here ..he said making cabir look at him in shock....

Cabir immediately moved to the chairs placed beside and took one chair and pulled it to the door and stood on it and took a key from the top , it's behind a portrait kept for decoration ....

He immediately opened the door , what they saw made them shocked ..... All of them are looking at the scene with wide open eyes ......

The first one to recover from the shock is cabir ...bcoz he ran to nandu and joined her dancing crazily ....

Yes it's nandu who is happily dancing to loud music , thats the reason she couldn't hear the door bell or phone ring .....

Manik placed charms on the couch nearby bcoz he has been holding her from a long time ....

Finally cabir and nandu stopped dancing and sat on the couch beside charms panting heavily ....

Karan : krithika said you have fever , are u okay nandu ?? He asked looking at nandu ....

Nandu : yes , I had light fever . But i got bored so started dancing ....she said with a small smile ...

Sanju : did u go to doctor ??

Nandu : not needed i took medicine and yeah I'm fine now ..... But don't you guys have work ?? She asked bcoz it's nearly 3 in the afternoon as they are busy whole day with works , it's unusual for them to stay home ....

Arjun : charms fell down , so we are home with her ....he said pointing towards charms ....

Nandu : what ? She panics and immediately turned to charms .... She saw her leg and got worried " hey , how did this happen ?? " , She asked holding her hand in hers looking at her hurt knee ......

Charms : i fell down in school , she said not looking at nandu .....

Nandu : look at my face and say the truth now , she asked holding her by chin ...

Charms : i was pushed by Sheela , she said with a sad pout and nandu immediately hugged her ....

Nandu : I'm sorry , i should have warned her to stay away from you but i thought you can became friends.  I never thought she will hurt you , she said feeling guilty for not helping her ...

Charms : no mam u tried to make her understand but she didn't , you don't feel guilty principal sir took the action against her . She said with a smile .

Nandu : what about your friends ?? They won't let her go easily as far as I know ....she asked raising her eyebrows ....

Charms : Ashu ,is ready to fight with her but i stopped her , Sid already had a fight with her going against me and i don't know what they will do in my absence , she said  making nandu laugh loudly ....

Nandu : u know what , if they dont fight for us or with us , they can't be friends.  She said with a smile ....

Charms : do u have a gang like that ??? She asked being curious of nandu's life ...

Nandu : yes I had in my college , but not guys we are a girls gang of three  who are  most notorious in the whole college.  In schooling it's always cabir ..... She said with a sad smile ....

Charms : where are the other two girls ?? She asked nandu holding her hand.  ..

Nandu : i lost contact long back , i don't know where they are or what they are doing ?? They must be hating me for not getting in touch with them. May be they are together atleast i hope that ...she said slowly ....

Charms : u never tried to meet them , she asked again ....

Nandu : no bcoz i don't want to disturb them. If we are Destined we shall meet again , she said like a whisper but everyone heard it ....

Charms : did u guys get separated with fight ?? She asked being curious ....

Nandu : no fights at all , we had a good farewell and came home after college  . First we are in touch but slowly work made us busy , careers grew and slowly contact became less and finally it stopped bcoz i lost my mobile and couldn't get in touch with them .

Charms : you didn't try through social media .... She asked giving her different ideas .....

Nandu : never tried but now i think they could have forgotten me and i don't think it would be good to disturb them .... She said with a small smile ....

They all sat in silence but ali disturbed them....

Ali : why are u not resting ?? He asked looking at nandu ....

Nandu : I'm bored of resting ....she said with a sad face ....

Sanju : Ali stop boring her with your talks , I'm hungry . She said cutely rubbing her big bump .......

Nandu : wait , i made lunch you can have it . Bcoz it's yummy biryani . She said and made way to kitchen immediately....

Cabir is just starring at her .....navya patted him to gain his attention.....

Navya : kya hua cabir ?? Where are u lost???

Cabir : nandu has no fever , he said still looking at nandu who is reheating the biryani .....

Navya : than why she took leave ?? She asked and everyone are having same question. ..

Cabir : whenever something hurt her emotionally she locks herself in the house and Stops herself to cry, she tries to do weird things like dance , shopping and all  , he said with a sad smile looking at his best friend who is expert in masking her emotions .....

Navya : you mean to say , she is hurt....she asked slowly....

Cabir : may be she remembers her mom , she is very close to maa..... He said but couldn't say anything else bcoz nandu walked in the hall with biryani for Sanju , she then got cold drinks for all ....

They all sat together and had fun watching movies in nandu's hall .....Manik is just looking at nandu only ......

Finally few months passed .... Charms completed her eleventh class final exams...

Neil comes with charms to nandu house ...... Nandu is just sitting in the garden having her coffee .....

Charms : hello darling. ....she said sitting beside nandu and hugging her. ...

Nandu : oho , someone looks so happy.  Finally exams jo khatam hogayi , she said pulling her in her embrace .....

Neil : oh hello , even I'm here .... He says taking a seat in front of them ....

Nandu : so are u going to Turkey , asked nandu looking at charms bcoz charms said she wants to go to Turkey to meet her parents and her sister's son who is too cute ........

Neil : she will go but after twenty days....he said instead of charms....

Nandu : kyu ?? She asked being confused .....

Neil : bcoz it's my marriage , we all are going to Punjab . So pack your bags , we are leaving tomorrow.....he said nandu ....

Nandu : but ??

Neil : no if and buts ....you are coming , I'm not taking a no , he said being stubborn...

Nandu : who said I'm not coming ?? , But i have school till tomorrow , last meeting , submission of annual reports and all . She said. ...

Niel : we are going tomorrow night madam , so pack your bags . We are going late night , so don't worry . We are not leaving without you. He Said explaining it very clearly to her ...making her nod in yes .....

Nandu : so Punjabi girl , is it love marriage ?? She asked and even before neil could answer , charms burst into laughter ....

Charms : this person and love are poles apart , Neil bhai got lucky bcoz his mom dad chose her , she said giggling like a kid ....

Neil : bhabi ki chamchi , he called her cutely ....

Both Neil and charms are having a verbal fight defending his future wife and nandu is enjoying their banters ..... Than one by one all of them joined in nandu's garden , they enjoyed evening snacks teasing abhi about his wife , bcoz whenever they said something about her neil used to blush ....

They all left to their houses and nandu gets a call ....

Nandu : hello mamu , she says with a big smile ...

Mamu : when are u coming my bacha ?? He said with the same enthusiasm ....

Nandu : actually I thought of travelling day after tomorrow but suddenly got to attend my friends wedding in Punjab ... So I will come after twenty days and for sure will stay for more than a month .... She said with a never ending smile on her face ....

Mamu : your mami is desperately waiting for you , preparing all kinds of special foods for you ....he said teasing her ..

Nandu : say mami , nothing is gonna go waste . I'm gonna savour everything when i come there and don't u dare eat away my special food ....she threatened him playfully .

Mamu : ok bacha  , go safe to Punjab . Enjoy wedding but take care of your health . Puja ki time Tak ajaoogi na ....he asked slowly....

Nandu : puja ki do din pehle hi ajaungi mamu , u don't worry . Apna dhyan rakhna . Mami ko zyada tang mat karna ....she said like she is speaking to a kid ....

Mami pulls the phone from her mamu ,

Mami : oye mamu ki ladli , bahut tang karta hae tumhara mamu mujhe . Ake vapis lejaoo is baar tere saath isko . Main aur nahi jhel sakti inko....she said glaring her husband ....

Nandu : sachi main apni mamu ko lejaoo ....soch lo vapis nahi dungi main .... She continued playfully teasing her mami ....

Then joined their kids in the conversation , nandu is happy talking to them , after the call she packed her bags and slept calling it a night ...

Next day....

She got ready and left to school and finished all her works , calling it the end of this academic session till they reopen schools after two months of summer holidays ....

She happily left to the market nearby and got some necessary things and did good shopping for gifts for her family as well as Neil  for his wedding ....

Finally she reached home and got ready in a simple kurta and leggings .... She kept her packed bags and sat there waiting for charms and her family to start their journey  to Punjab ....
