The unexpected fairy tale- 22

Charms : mam was fine yesterday night right ....she asked being worried for nandu ....

Kritika : i don't know but she sounded very low. I will go meet her in the evening . Come charms let's not get late to class , bye ...she bid bye and moved away with charms ....but manik is just thinking about nandu lost in his thoughts ...karam noticed this but didn't talk anything and asked him to start the car as they are getting late for work ......

They reached the station , Manik left to his room and sat on his chair thinking of nandu's crying face ......he just closed his eyes leaning back on his chair , he couldn't even think for a few minutes a knock on the door disturbed him . He saw it's Karan and arjun he allowed them inside . They observed his silent behaviour but didn't say anything , they continued to discuss work ....

It's nearly afternoon Manik is just sitting on his chair today , he didn't even go on any investigation bcoz he is totally lost. He gave work to everyone and asked the head constable not to send anyone to his room . He didn't even have his lunch .....

He gets a call from Charms school  asking him to pick her up from school as she fell down in school .....

Manik immediately runs out of his office in hurry bcoz charms is hurt .....

He drove to the school in full speed his friends following behind him immediately not knowing where he is going .... .....

They reached the school and manik walked hastily into the office bcoz he got a call from there .....

Manik : excuse me sir , i got a call from here saying my sister is hurt ....he asked panting heavily....

Clerk : commissioner sir , charms is in sick bay ....plz come with me , saying she showed the way ....

Manik walked along with him and they reached a room , they saw charms sitting with a band aid on her both knees , Manik immediately sat on his knees in front , not caring of others . The people in the sick bay are looking at him in shock bcoz he is not shy to sit on his knees in front of a girl , they don't know he can do anything for that little girl who is his little sister and his life . He loves her more than anything.....

Manik : bacha kya hua ?? how did this happen ??? Are u ok ?? Kaise ??? He is continuously asking her but charms laughs out little making him glare her ....

With a cute smile she said ....

Charms : relax bhai , I'm completely okay . I was just going back to my class after lunch break  and got stumbled on the stairs . She said avoiding his eyes , he felt something is fishy but didn't say anything....

Manik is about to question her more but is disturbed by Sid ....

Sid : no sir , she is lying . He said standing beside a kneeling down manik ...

Arjun , Karan are standing at the door bcoz they followed Manik ....krithika is there to help charms ...along with the doctor of sick bay and nurse ....

Charms : bhai , don't listen to him.  I'm your sister not him , she said with a cute face but manik ignored her and turned to Sid asking him to say  ....

Sid : Sheela is always jealous of charms from day one. Everytime she did something nandini mam was there to solve the fight , even without her mistake charms always said sorry bcoz nandini mam said both of them to apologise .   Today she crossed her limits and pushed her from stairs bcoz nandini mam is not here . She just needs to know that we can't always hurt someone bcoz of being jealous.  Mam always tried to make them friends but she never understood sir , we wanted to say mam or you but she didn't let us say anything.  He said glaring at charms who is currently sitting with her head down holding her brother's hand tightly .....

Manik : bacha , is it true . He asked cupping her face with one hand and letting her hold his other hand ....

Charms didn't say anything ....

Sid : don't ask her sir , she will surely try to save that girl .....he said still being angry on charms .....

Manik ; kuch toh bolo bacha , he asked lifting her face , she held his hand in a tight grip  ....

Charms : bhai she always did wrong but nandini mam always stopped her stupid ways , mam  was there with me always to protect me.  Its just i don't want to disturb anyone of you , bcoz it's my school matter and i thought I could handle it and I know how angry my brother's would turn if someone hurt me , she is just a girl like me . May be insecure and little jealous but not bad at heart , i don't want any accusations on her bcoz its just a time of two months for final exams and after that it's holidays , next year may be she might forget it , if not i would love to ignore her  and i don't even have to see her or she would not  be there in my life right after schooling . I don't want any fight bcoz i want my last years in school to be pleasant and happy , plz bhai  , i don't want to talk anymore about this , I promise I will take care of myself . Please let her go .Today it's just not a good day , take me home , she said still holding his hands.....

Manik : the charms I know is not the girl who would just let go someone who hurt her. But why now ??? Bcoz i always got a call saying my sister punched someone from the previous school  , today is the first time I got a call saying she is hurt , He asked her clearly bcoz he knew how aggressive his sister is .....she is famous for fights from the previous school ....

Charms : bcoz someone taught me , people get jealous only when u have something which they don't have and also they get insecure only if you have won something they always wanted.  I don't know what i won , but I'm proud of myself bcoz i don't have to fight for that something . If i fail they will tease me saying I'm looser , if i win they say i got it for free , so whatever I say or do people will say something or the other but that shouldn't matter to me bcoz i know what I'm and my loving ones don't need an explanation , those who don't love or like me ,i shouldn't bother for their opinions.  So I don't want to drag this fight and get my standard lower bcoz of anyone . She said with a small smile ....

Everyone in the room  are proud of her which includes principal , her Three brothers ( Manik , Karan , arjun) , krithika , sid , doctor , nurse and clerk .....

Principal : "happy to have a good student like you charms ", he said moving to Manik and charms . "I have seen students crying after  fight with other students and complaining to parents asking them to take action but this is the first time I heard someone who don't want fight , I'm proud to be your teacher ", he said patting her head . " I don't know who taught you but they taught you the best which is always good for your future, go home take rest and join back when you are fine. Don't worry about your studies I know you are a good student. So go home take care and yeah I will take my action as it's my duty , don't worry I won't take any strict action but I need to warn her.   Take her home commissioner sir", he said with a smile and asked Sid to get back to his class .

Krithika left along with Sid to her class , Manik carried out charms in his arms to the car followed by Arjun and Karan who carried her bag with them ...

They all settled in a single car this time and left home .....

Manik just sat in the living room thinking of whatever happened today , bcoz he is only thinking of nandu and charms . The two most important people of his life are hurt . He got to know how charms is bcoz he called a doctor home , but he wanted to go to nandu but is stopping himself . He took a day off bcoz his mind not under his control ....

He just sat on the chair of his balcony looking at nandu's house . He had enough of waiting , so he came out and walked out of the house to her house .....

But he saw a car coming inside the community it belongs to his bua dadi so he backed off bcoz he don't want anyone to speak bad about her , unwillingly he met her and hugged her. He helped her with her luggage inside the house .....

Chacha , chachi also came back along with sharmistha . They spoke for sometime . As sharmistha owns the school they got to know about charms being hurt . Except dadi bua everyone came to meet her , the whole family pampered her . She even got calls from her mom dad , she is sitting in the hall glaring her brothers who are the reason for all this attention from everyone . She just sat there being grumpy ....

Karan is trying to make her laugh .....but in vain she didn't even open her mouth .....

Sanju : stop irritating her idiots , why so grumpy charms ???

Charms : what's the use of saying dad ?? He is in turkey yet too much worried for me , all bcoz of u Karan bhai , can't you just shut your mouth ?? I will say kritika mam that you have girlfriends yaad rakhna. I will take my revenge ....she said smiling evilly ....

Karan : you said in the school , that you will never take revenge and all . But what are you saying now charms ...he asked being shocked .....

Charms : thats bcoz she didn't make me have all the attention which I have now bcoz of you , she said still grumpy surrounded by all her brothers and two bhabi who left everything to be with her .....

Karan : acha chalo , I will make it up to you , how about we visit your fav teacher , u know right even she is not well . I know you will jump like a monkey after meeting her ....as soon as he said this she jumped on him hugging in him , Bcoz he is going to take her to nandu.....

Charms : chalo lift me and take there,she said showing her hands like a small kid ....

Even before Karan could lift her , she is in the arms of manik who just held her tight and started walking out , charms is just looking at him shock like everyone there , but none commented about it but followed him . Bcoz Manik is more impatient than anyone out there for nandu bcoz he realised he couldn't live without seeing her , he realised she became too important to him in a short span of time , seeing her cry last night made him go sleepless the whole night . As he got to know she is sick he just wanted to stay with her and take care of her just like he is taking care of his sister . She became precious to him just like his life  .....

They moved to nandu's house and rang the bell , but none opened the door ....

Manik is getting impatient and worried for nandu .... He asked Karan to ring the bell continuously bring scared of her safety ....
