Adonis and Ariel along with Flounder surfaced the oceans face as they swam up to Scuttle's rock as he was messing with a sea glass telescope.

Ariel: "Hello, Scuttle." She said smiling as Scuttle looked through the telescope the wrong way making her laugh as Adonis rolled his eyes.

Scuttle: "Whoa! Mermaid and Merman off the port bow! Ariel, Adonis. How are you doin', kids!" He shouted out until Adonis pulled the telescope down gently to see the two siblings. "Whoa! What a swim."

Adonis: "Scuttle, look what Ariel and I found in the latest sunken ship." He said as the seagull smiled at the sentence.

Scuttle: "Human stuff, huh? Hey let me see." He said excitedly before flying down from his rocks peek to look throughout the bags then began singing about the stuff that was brought to him to identify.

Scuttle: "The snarfblatt is used to create fine music, allow me." He said as he blew air into the snarfblatt as seaweed, wet sand and muck blew out making him gag in disgust.

Ariel and Adonis looked at each other with wide eyes in shock and realization.

Ariel: "Music?!" She shrieked out loud as Adonis put their things back into their own bags quickly. "The concert! Oh my gosh, our father is going to kills us, Adonis!"

Adonis: He handed Ariel her bag quickly before snatching the snarfblatt away from Scuttle as the bird mumbled. "We have to go, see you later Scuttle." He said honestly before handing his sister the snarfblatt before they swam back home fast not knowing that two electric eels had their eyes on them.

Ursula: "Yes, hurry home, Prince and Princess. We wouldn't want to miss Daddy's little celebration, now, would we?" She questioned before scoffing a laugh. "Ha! Celebration, indeed. Oh, bah! In my day we had fantastical feasts when I lived in the palace!" She said in anger before eating a live shrimp from her shell chair. "And, now look at me! Wasted away to practically nothing. My son and I now banished, exiled and practically starving! While he and his filsmy fish folk celebrate. We'll give'em all celebrate soon enough. Flotsam! Jetsam! I want you both to keep an extra close eye on this handsome son and pretty little daughter of his. They may be the key to Triton's undoing." She said with a plan in mind.

Ursul: "Mother, it's not fair that you are plotting without me.~" a masculine and husky voice spoke up as it entered the lair to reveal Ursula's only son whom looked exactly like his mother yet thin as well muscular.

In Atlantica's Castle

Ariel and Adonis stood before their father as he sat on his throne with Sebastian at his right side lecturing his children.

Triton: "I just don't know what we're going to do with you, young lady." He said seriously towards Ariel before looking at Adonis. "And a crowned prince like you, young man should be more in tune with what he is determined to be." He said seriously as Adonis spoke up.

Adonis: "What does it matter for? I gave my right to the throne as the crowned prince to my first sister, Adena." He said seriously as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Triton: Sighed softly at his son before speaking away. "Regardless as a result of both of your careless behavior..."

Sebastian: "Careless and reckless behavior!"

Triton: "The entire celebration was, uh..."

Sebastian: "Well, it was ruined! That's all completely destroyed!" He shouted out angrily as he swam up towards the royal siblings. "This concert was to be the pinnacle of my distinguished career. Now, thanks to you two, I'm the laughingstock of the entire kingdom!" He shouted out at Adonis and Ariel until Flounder swam up towards Sebastian to defend his friends.

Flounder: "But it wasn't their fault!" He yelled out loud before King Triton glared at him. "First it was a shark chasing us and we tried to but we couldn't and he *growls* and then we all whoah! And then we were safe. But then this seagull came, and it was, "this is this, and that is that and..." He explained acting out what happened until Triton spoke up.

Triton: "A seagull? What? Oh! You two went up to the surface again?! Didn't you two, didn't you both?!" He yelled out worried about his children.

Ariel: "Nothing happened, Daddy." She said honestly as Flounder hid behind her hair in fright.

Triton: "Ariel, Adonis, how many times must we go through this? You both could have been see by one of those barbarians, by one of those humans!" He yelled out loud.

Adonis: "Father, they're not barbarians." He lashed out back before Triton told them both.

Triton: "They are dangerous. Do you two think I want to see my eldest son and youngest daughter snared by some fish-eater's hook?" He asked Adonis and Ariel.

Ariel: "I'm sixteen years old. I'm not a child anymore." She said seriously as Adonis gently took hold of her shoulders.

Adonis: "And I am eighteen years old. I'm a adult merman now capable of making my own decisions in life." He said seriously standing up towards their father.

Triton: "Don't you two take that tone of voice with me, young man and lady! As long as you two live under my ocean you'll both obey my rules!" He yelled out at his children.

Ariel: "But if you would just listen..." She said honestly before their father interrupted her.

Triton: "Not another word! And I am never, never to hear of either of you heading to the surface again! Is that clear?!" He scolded his son and daughter before Ariel swam off sobbing as Adonis glared at him before he and Flounder swam after her. Triton sat back down on his throne.

Sebastian: "Hmph! Teenagers. You give them an inch, then they swim all over you." He said seriously while Triton looked over at his advisor.

Triton: "Do you don't think I was to harsh with them?" He questioned the crustacean.

Sebastian: "Definitely not! Why if Adonis was my son and if Ariel was my daughter, I'd show them who was boss. None of this flitting to the surface and other such nonsense. No, I'd keep them under tight control." He said seriously unknowingly giving the king of the sea an idea.

Triton: "Your absolutely right, Sebastian! Adonis and Ariel need constant supervision. Someone to watch over them, to keep them out of trouble. And you are just the crab to do it!" He decred while Sebastian walked off mumbling to himself until Sebastian saw that Adonis and Ariel were swimming away from the castles with Flounder before following after them.

Sebastian followed Adonis, Ariel and Flounder up to a twin hidden away grotto of sea rock before following them inside to see Ariel's hidden away troves of human treasures then looked aside to see Adonis placing his new treasure on display. The bracelets were placed in a box with other trinkets and the cloth was tied to a stone.

Flounder: "Adonis, Ariel, are you both okay?" He asked as Adonis sighed softly.

Adonis: "If only we could make him understand. We just don't see the way he does. I don't see how a world that makes such beautiful things could be bad." He said honestly before gently touching the aquamarine gems of his new treasure with a smile before he began singing out in a handsome baritone song.

Look at this stuff, isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the guy

How many wonders can one cavern hold?

Adonis showed his collection of jewelry to Ariel and Flounder as his sister looked at the jewels as they gleamed under the sea sun

Adonis takes hold a book of Shakespearean poetry and shows it to Ariel smiling before looking at Ariel's portrait of a young woman by candlelight.

Adonis sighed sadly as Ariel hugged him tightly in comfort until loud crashes caught their attention to see Sebastian in pieces of Ariel's own collection.

Sebastian: "Adonis, Ariel, what are you two... How could you both... What is all this?" He questioned demandingly as Ariel messed with her hair and Adonis cleared his throat lightly.

Ariel: "This is just our collections." She said nervously as Sebastian held up a fishing hook with a false smile.

Sebastian: "Oh, I see you collections, hmm? If your father knew about this place he'd!...." He began shouting out until the trio got into his face.

Adonis: "You can't tell him Sebastian about any of this! He'd never understand!" He said seriously while Sebastian took hold of his hand along with Ariel's.

Sebastian: "Adonis, Ariel, you re both under a lot of pressure down here. Come with me, you two, I'll take you both home and get you two something warm to drink." He said honestly until Adonis and Ariel noticed a huge shadow covered their grottoes hole.

Ariel: "What do you suppose..." She said honestly before she and Adonis swam out of the grotto and towards the surface ignoring Sebastian.

Once Adonis and Ariel surfaced the water to see a majestic ship and bright sky flowers filling the night sky making them laugh before they both swam towards the boat to hear laughter and chattering on the ship. Adonis climbed up the side of the ship and helped Ariel up as well looking through a port hole of sorts to see humans dancing and playing music.

It was then a fluffy creature began sniffing around to find Adonis and Ariel panting happily and licked their cheeks making the two laugh quietly with a smile til a whistle cut through the air.

Eric: "Max! Here, boy!" He called out as Max ran over towards him, that was when a laugh filled the air making Adonis look up at a beautiful h/c haired woman with enchanting e/c eyes. "Hey, come on, mutt."

Y/n: "What ya doin', huh, Max? Whose my good boy, huh?" She said honestly as Max jumped onto his masters licking their faces happily til she smiled sweetly.

Scuttle: "Hey there, sweeties! Quite a show, eh?" The seagull said towards Adonis and Ariel as they quieted him down.

Adonis: "Scuttle be quiet or they'll hear you!" He shouted softly as his sea blue eyes glanced at the lone woman on deck dancing along with the fluffy creature as the man nearby played the snarfblatt. "I've never seen a human this close before. Oh, she's very beautiful, isn't she?" He asked Scuttle as Ariel was looking at the human near the woman while the male human sat on a barrel, the female human leaned against the boat's railing.

Grimsby: "Silence, silence!. It is now my honor and privilege to present our esteemed Princess Y/n with a very special, very expensive, very large birthday present." He said as Y/n stood up in excitement as she looked over at her brother.

Eric: "Ah, Grimsby, ya old beanpole, you shouldn't have." He said smacking Grimsby on the back.

Y/n: "Oh, what is is?!" She said smiling sweetly as applause rang out from the sailors

Grimsby: "I know. Happy birthday, Y/n." He said as a sailor took of the tarp on the gift to show a gaudy and formal statue of the young woman.

Y/n and Eric looked at the statue with a 'what in the seven seas is that thing' look of discomfort as Max growled at the statue. Y/n walked towards the statue as she rubbed her forehead lightly before looking over at Grimsby.

Y/n: "Wow...uh, gee, Grim...Ha!" She said honestly sickened by this gift but didn't want to say it out loud as she cleared her throat lightly. "It is really....something. So formal and elegant..." She said out loud while saying a bit more in her head 'And so not like the real me at all!'

Eric: "Here, Y/n this is my gift to you. Happy birthday sea star." He said handing Y/n a leather bound book as she opened it up for her e/c eyes to see beautiful drawings of their childhood together from infants, children, teenagers and of course young adults.

Grimsby: "Yes, I commissioned it myself. Of course, I had to hope it would be a wedding present."

Grimsby said seriously as Eric and Y/n groaned slightly before the young princess handed Eric the book as she took the spyglass away from him to look at the horizon and walked towards the railings unknowingly where Adonis and Ariel sat.

Y/n: "Oh come on, Grimmy. Don't start." She said seriously as Eric walked towards her as she looked over at the sea through the spy glass. "Look, you're not sore because I didn't swoon for the Prince of Spain while Eric didn't fall for the Princess of Glowerhaven, are you?" She questioned while tossing the spyglass back to Grimsby.

Grimsby: Struggled to catch the glass til he caught it. "Oh, my! Eric, Y/n, it isn't me alone. The entire kingdom wants to see you both happily settled down with the right girl for you, Eric and the right man for you, Y/n." He said like a worried parent as Y/n leaned against the railing sighing softly.

Y/n: "Oh, he's out there somewhere. I just... haven't found him yet, Grim. I want a man who will love me for me, my love for the sea and not my crown nor title." She said honestly as Adonis looked up at her.

Grimsby: "Perhaps you both haven't been looking hard enough." He said honestly as Eric and Y/n looked over at him as they said together.

Eric & Y/n: "Oh, Believe us, Grim, when we find them. We'll know. Without a doubt, it'll just bam, hit us, like lightning." The siblings stated as lightning struck the sky and the seas began to churn as thunder rumbled harshly.

Y/n quickly helped prepare the lifeboats as Eric helped their crew as the wind picked up aggressively blowing Adonis and Ariel into the water. Once the sail caught fire Y/n shouted at the crew to board the lifeboats when she saw Grimsby, Eric and the Quarter Master thrown from the ship and into the water below.

Y/n: "Eric! Grimsby!" She shouted out as the ship hit the rocks but she held on tightly as her ears rang out from the chaos until she heard Max frightened barks through the fire. "Max! Jump down boy, I'll catch you, Max!" She shouted out as the sheep dog jumped into her arms and she started running towards the ship's railing only for her foot to caught in the ship and tossed Max overbroad into the water.

Eric: "Y/n!" He shouted out loud as Grimsby helped Max into the boat while the sailors held their prince back from going into the water. The fire reached the gunpowder barrels causing the ship to explode. "No!"

Adonis's eyes widened as he swam towards the wreckage looking for the girl amongst the debris til he saw her sink down into the waters. The prince of the sea dove down and swam towards Y/n and grabbed hold of her unconscious body the swam up towards the surface with Ariel right beside him as they swam towards the shore.

As the storm passed through the night by dawn's light Adonis had carefully laid Y/n down onto the soft yet wet sandy beach while Ariel stayed in the water along with Flounder as Scuttle landed by the prince.

Adonis: "Is she dead?" He asked Scuttle whom opened up one of the young woman's eyelids to look at her e/c eye.

Scuttle: "It's hard to say." He said honestly before walking down the sand to ody place Y/n's foot against his ear. "Oh. I... I can't make a heartbeat." He said sadly towards Adonis until the prince noticed Y/n's chest was moving up and down with breath.

Adonis: "No, wait look! She's breathing." He said honestly happy before gently moving a piece of her damp h/c hair out of her face to rest against her ear as he gently moved her head to look at her. "She's so beautiful.~" He said lovestruck before he began singing towards the young woman.

What would I give to live where you are?

Adonis gently caressed Y/n's cheek with his fingertips as waves washed Sebastian onto a rock beside Ariel and Flounder.

What would I pay to stay here beside you?
What would I do to see you smiling at me?

Adonis smiled down at Y/n as Sebastian's fell against the rock he washed up on til Scuttle placed it back up while Ariel smiled at her older brother.

Where would we walk, where would we run
If we could stay all day in the sun?

Adonis sang out as the sun broke through the clouds shining down onto Adonis making his red hair look brown from the shadowing while Y/n slowly awoken to see Adonis singing to her. Y/n looked at Adonis with a small smile on her face as a blush hued her cheeks while she gently held onto his hand as it caressed her face.

Grimsby: "Y/n!"

Eric: "Y/n!"

Grimsby and Eric ran towards the echoing voice on the beach while Max ran up towards Y/n and happily licked her face before barking as Adonis dove back into the sea while Y/n slowly sat up in a daze yet she saw a glimpse of a sea foam green tail.

Y/n: "Wait please, wait..." She said weakly as Grimsby and Eric knelt down to help her stand up from the wet sand.

Grimsby: "You nearly scared me to death, my dear girl." He said honestly.

Eric: Carefully set a blanket onto his sister's shoulders. "Are you alright, Y/n? Are you in any pain?" He questioned her.

Y/n looked back at the sea as it's waves hit the damp sand over and over again leaving behind seafoam bubbles as Y/n walked towards the water.

Y/n: "A...A man rescued me... He was singing, he had the most handsome voice, I've ever heard.~" She said honestly as her heartbeat quickened within her chest. She started losing her balance until Grimsby caught her and Eric carefully picked her up to place her onto his back.

Grimsby: "I believe you consumed to much sea water, Y/n let's get you home and into a hot bath before giving you a hot meal and fresh clothes." He said as the trio headed back towards a sea side castle.

Sebastian: "We're just going to forget that this ever happened. The sea king will never know, you won't tell him, Flounder nor you, Ariel. I won't tell him and I'll stay in one piece." He said seriously as Ariel looked up at her brother smiling at his far off and love filled eyes.

Adonis watched Y/n from a far as he smiled determined that he'd see her again, he placed his hand over his heart before climbing up the sea soaked rock and sang out unknowingly making the waves respond to his purest emotions of desire, love and affection.

I don't know when, I don't know how

After the waves calmed down Adonis, Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian dove back into the water to swim back home. Meanwhile Ursula and Ursul were watching the royal siblings through the magic water bubble.

Ursula: "Oh, I can't stand it! It's to easy the son and daughter are in love with a pair of humans! But, not just any humans, a prince and princess!" She said loudly with mischievous glee as she laughed.

Ursul: "Oh, their father would love that. Mother I believe that King Triton's lovesick prince and princess would make a fine addition to your garden." He said evilly as he laughed looking over at the shivering and groaning kelp like creatures that littered the floor of the lair.
