[Indigo League Journey, Day 8. Early morning, Over at Calem and the Team Rocket Trio. Viridian Forest]

Calem was walking ahead, looking at his PokeGear and scrolling through it. The Team Rocket Trio were following him just a few steps behind.

"Hey, Boss. Where are we goin'?" Meowth asked Calem while looking around the thick green forest.

"I'm trying to think. Shut up for a while, will ya." Calem replied as he looked at the map of the whole Kanto Region in his PokeGear.

"We could try followin' the twerps. They got some really Powerful Pokemon in their hands that we could swipe" Meowth said to Calem while forming a fist.

Calem stopped, and turned around as he looked at his little team.

"I want you three to go after those Idiots." Calem said to the trio with a smug smile on his face. "And what are you going to do, Boss?" James asked Calem.

"I've got some other plans---" Calem said while raising his PokeGear towards the trio, showing a map of Cinnabar Island.

"Cinnabar Island? What's still 'dere in dat baked Island?" Meowth asked while looking at Calem's PokeGear. 

"Mewtwo was cloned on that godforsaken Island. Doctor Namba told me to look for any clues concerning Mewtwo on that Island, so I'm going there. Now get lost and try getting those Pokemon, more or less. Just get out of my way for the time being---" Calem said to the Trio before leaving them.

"UH-- why do we even bother listening to the Twerp Boss?" James said while looking at Calem disappearing in the thick woods and on his way through the Kanto Region to get to Cinnabar Island.

"I-dunno--- Maybe 'coz we don't crave for good food anymore since the Twerp Boss has been payin' for our food at all dem' fancy restaurants?" Meowth said to James while patting his filled tummy.

"well, you do have a point---" James said as he looked down at his filled stomach that was usually empty before they got hired by Calem.

"The Twerp Boss is kinda better than the big Boss if you think of it that way" Jessie said to James and Meowth while looking at her stomach as well, which was lacking the protruding bones she had before getting hired by Calem.

"Well, that's that. Time to find dem twerps and swipe dem twerpy Pokemon!" Meowth said to Jessie and James while forming a fist. The two nodded back, ready to go after Ash and his friends.

[Hours later, Over at Ash and the rest, Route 22. West of Viridian City. 2PM]

Narrator: "After spending the night in the Pokemon Center and parting from Alain and Silver, Our Heroes continued their Journey towards the Indigo Plateau. Now, they're taking a short rest near a stream of water."

Ash and Serena went towards the stream of water along with Pikachu and Charmander, leaving the two Brother and Sister at a small spot. Clemont was cooking, while Bonnie was brushing the fur of her Dedenne. 

"Okay, Dedenne. You're all clean! Now, it's Spooky's turn!" Bonnie said as she threw Spooky's Pokeball in the air and called him out.

"Spooky-Spooky!" Spookeon said as he came out of his Pokeball. Clemont took notice of what Bonnie said and turned around to take a look.

"So this is your Spookeon. I saw the picture Professor Sycamore sent me. It looks incredible." Clemont said while still sitting in front of the pot which was cooking some soup.

"It's so adorable, so I named it Spooky!" Bonnie said to Clemont while giving her Ghost-type Pokemon a little hug. "I'm not quite sure about that logic but--- oh well--" Clemont said while nervously scratching his head.

"Okay, Spooky! Time to get wiped clean! Open your covers so I can brush and wash your body!" Bonnie said to Spookeon as she picked up her brush and turned towards her Ghost-type Pokemon.

"SPOOKEE!?" (WHAT!?) Spookeon exclaimed as he stepped away from Bonnie as if he had seen a ghost. 

"Spooky? What's the matter? Don't you wanna get cleaned? Your body looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages--" Bonnie said to Spookeon while looking at his partially exposed body under the bandage-coverings, that was completely pitch black.

"I think I know why Spooky doesn't want to get cleaned" Clemont said as he got up. "Huh? why not?" Bonnie quickly asked her big brother. 

"I've read reports about the Spookeon species' behavior from multiple sources today. Spookeon has been officially declared as a new evolved form of Eevee, so all of it's details have been logged into my PokeGear." Clemont said to Bonnie as he took out his PokeGear and pointed it at Spookeon.

PokeGear: "Spookeon. The Mummy Pokemon and one of the evolved forms of Eevee. Ghost-Type. It's body is wrapped in a cover that closely resembles a bandage. Trainers Beware, as looking at a Spookeon's completely unwrapped body can cause vivid hallucinations and nightmares."

"See?" Clemont said to Bonnie after showing Spookeon's PokeDex entry. "I don't get it" Bonnie replied in a confused manner.

"If you see Spooky's body without it's bandage-like cover, you'll get intense nightmares instantly. You're better off brushing him with his covers on." Clemont said as he explained why it was unsafe to brush Spookeon without his covers.

"Hmm---" Bonnie said as she started thinking deeply about a way to get Spookeon cleaned.

"Hey, I know how we can get you cleaned!" Bonnie said as she threw a Pokeball in the air and released Spookeon's pal Blastoise.

"Blaaass----Toise---!" Blastoise exclaimed as he came out of his Pokeball and landed on the ground, causing it to tremble from his enormous weight. "Okay, Blastoise! Clean up Spooky!" Bonnie said to Blastoise.

"Blast!" (Okay!) Blastoise said as he took out his shoulder-cannons and fired a small ball of water straight at Spooky. The ball hit and splashed, making Spooky's whole body wet.

"Spookee---" Spookeon said while shaking his body like a dog, sprinkling water everywhere. "Ahahah--- Take it easy, Spooky. You're getting water everywhere." Bonnie said as she shielded her eyes from the spraying water coming at her.

"Whoa--- So this is your Blastoise! Your Pokemon that can Mega-Evolve! Right?" Clemont said to Bonnie while adjusting his glasses.

"Well-- not quite yet---" Bonnie said in a silly manner while sweat-dropping a bit. "Why not?" Clemont asked Bonnie quickly.

"Well, we don't have much of a bond yet--- you see---" Bonnie said as she placed her fingers on the Key Stone attached on her hair, but nothing happened.

"Hmm--- I see--" Clemont said while thinking hard. 

"Do you have an invention that can make our bond stronger?" Bonnie asked Clemont. "Uh--- I don't, Bonnie---" Clemont replied while scratching his head nervously.

"Ohh--! You never have an invention when I need one!" Bonnie said to Clemont in an annoyed manner. "Well, I think I can make one for you. Is that okay?" Clemont asked Bonnie, which made Bonnie's eyes turn into stars.

"Yay! All right!" Bonnie said as she jumped up high.

[Meanwhile, Over at Ash and Serena]

Ash and Serena were sitting together on the grassy ground near the stream of water. Charmander and Pikachu were right beside the stream, where Pikachu was drinking water and Charmander was looking on curiously at Pikachu.

"So, Serena. We're only a day or two's worth of distance away from the Indigo league. After that's all over, what do you think we'll do?" Ash asked Serena while looking into her ocean blue eyes.

"I-I'm not quite sure, Ash... I mean, I did start practicing a routine for my freestyle showcase performance, and I am confident if I keep practicing, I'll win the showcase--- but I don't know what lies ahead---" Serena replied in a concerned tone as she looked up at the sky.

"I don't know either, Serena--- But I just want you to know--- " Ash said while looking up at the sky as well, when Serena looked back at Ash.

"whatever happens, we'll go through it--- together--" Ash added while turning his head back at Serena's face and looking deep in her love-filled eyes. 

"Oh--- Ash--" Serena replied as she started leaning towards Ash, when suddenly---

"CHAAAAR----!!!!" Serena's Charmander yelled loudly. "Charmander!" Ash and Serena both exclaimed as they looked towards the stream, where Charmander's voice came from. The couple quickly got up on their feet.

"Where's Charmander!?" Serena exclaimed as she looked at the source of the voice but only saw Pikachu.

"Pi-Pika- Pikachu!!!" (There-- Look over there!!!) Pikachu yelled as he pointed downstream. Charmander had accidentally fallen inside the water.

"AH!" Ash said in shock as he spotted Charmander getting dragged away by the fast running stream of water.

"Oh No! What do we do now!?" Serena said in a worried manner while looking around. 

Within a split second, Ash started running along the stream, doing his best to catch up on Charmander. 

Ash ran as fast as he could along the stream, keeping his eyes locked at Charmander who was getting dragged away at great speed.

"OH---Give me a break!" Ash said as he looked forwards and spotted a waterfall. He pushed himself to get faster and continued on running, doing his best to reach Charmander before she fell down the waterfall. 

"Char--!" (Help!) Charmander cried out for help as she slapped her hands around in the water, making her avoid drowning in it and take out her vital tail flame which was above the water.

Ash kept on running, closing the gap between him and Charmander. Charmander was about to fall down from the waterfall, when suddenly Ash fell down after bumping his foot into a small rock he didn't see.

Charmander kept crying out for help, and eventually was about to fall down. She closed both her eyes and braced herself to experience a fall.

"Charmander! No!" Ash said as he got up from the ground and quickly pointed both of his arms at Charmander, focusing his powers.

"Char--?" (What?) Charmander said after opening her eyes and looking around herself. She was inside a blue ball of Aura, which was now hovering in the air above the huge fall beneath it.

"Aghhh------" Ash said in a struggling manner as his arms and legs shook violently from manipulating Aura. Ash then formed fists in his hands, and then gently pulled his fists close to his chest, causing the Ball of Aura with Charmander in it to come towards him and put Charmander gently on the grassy ground, away from the water.

"Aghh--" Ash said as his vision got blurry. He then fell to the ground, going unconscious.

"Ash!" "Pika-Pi!" Serena and Pikachu said as they both came running towards Ash with worried expressions on their faces. Charmander was standing next to Ash now, moving his body, trying to wake him up.

Serena got down on her knees and placed Ash's head on her lap. Thinking quickly, she took out a water bottle from her bag and used her hands to sprinkle a bit of water on Ash's face, making him wake up instantly.

"UH--- Charmander--" Ash said as he opened his eyes and saw Serena's worried face above him. Charmander and Pikachu's faces also got visible as his vision came back to focus. 

"Pika-Pi!" "Char-Char!" Pikachu and Charmander said as they both hugged Ash as he got up and sat on the ground with everyone.

"Whoa--- That was so much better than before--" Ash said as he looked at the palms of his hands, referring to his much better endurance in utilizing his powers.

"Yeah--- that was amazing, Ash" Serena said in an impressed tone with her eyes wide open, as she looked at the waterfall in the distance.

"I lasted longer this time. I think i'm improving---" Ash said as he got up on his feet. 

"Ohh--my-----" Serena said as she placed her hand on her mouth, trying not to burst out of laughter.

"Huh? What happened, Serena?" Ash asked in an innocent manner. "Ohh--nothing, Ash." Serena said as her tone normalized.

"Let's head back to Clemont and Bonnie. I'm starving" Ash said to Serena as they all started walking back to where they came from.

[Meanwhile, Back at the Camp]

After using a bunch of parts and screwing them together, Clemont had finally made an invention that can increase the bond between Bonnie and Blastoise.

"Haha! The future is now, Thanks to Science! Clemontic gear ON!" Clemont said as his glasses went white.

"As per your request, Bonnie. I've built this! The Pokemon-Trainer bond increaser Mark 1!" Clemont said as he presented the invention he had quickly put together.

"Whenever the name of your invention has the word 'Mark' in it, it blows up--- Like every invention for that matter" Bonnie said in a bit of nervous tone while sweat-dropping.

Clemont's invention looked sort of like a helmet. It had a few antennae popping out of it, pointed straight upwards. There was a secondary headset to go with it that resembled a simple pair of DJ-style over-ear headphones.

"How does it work, Clemont?" Bonnie asked her Big Brother while looking at his invention.

"It's actually quite simple, Bonnie. This helmet-like part goes on Blastoise's head, and this little headset goes on your head." Clemont said as he picked up his Helmet-like invention and placed it firmly on Blastoise's head, and then placed the headphone-like part on Bonnie's head.

Clemont turned a small dial on the side of the helmet and set it to make Blastoise blind for 3 minutes. Activating the helmet made it emit some rays to Blastoise's head, and made him lose eyesight for 3 minutes. 

"Blas--? Blass---" (What? Whoaa---) Blastoise said as he raised his arms around, surprised that he couldn't see anything at all. The outer white part of Blastoise's eyes changed from white to Black, showing that he was now blind.

"Now, by working as Blastoise's eyes, you're going to tell him when to dodge an attack, and where to exactly go. Doing so successfully will increase the bond of trust between you two, hopefully becoming strong enough to allow a Mega-Evolution to get triggered." Clemont said to Bonnie as he adjusted the headset on her head to fit her perfectly.

"I wish Ash was here so he could compliment my invention-- oh well" Clemont said while rubbing the back of his head in a silly way.

[Meanwhile, a few meters away from Clemont and Bonnie, inside the woods]

Jessie, James and Meowth, the Team Rocket trio were closely looking at the two, with headsets and binoculars on. They were listening and seeing everything Clemont and Bonnie were saying and doing.

"So, da Science twerp has made dat Blastoise blind from dat little thingy on it's head---" Meowth said as he looked on.

"Yeah-- It seems like Blastoise is now blind---" James said as he looked on.

"So we steal Blastoise! We have a million times higher chance of successfully catching a Pokemon if it's blind!" Jessie said in a determined tone.

"Dat's nice and all, Jessie. But how many times are we likely to catch a normal Pokemon?" Meowth said while looking at Jessie.

James started thinking. "Well, that doesn't work, Jess. Because Zero times Million is still Zero." James said to Jessie after thinking deeply.

"Yeah-- you're right, James--- We do have a zero chance of catching the twerp's Pokemon." Jessie replied in a lame manner.

"AAGHHH!!! Will you two dum lugs focus!!!???" Meowth said in an angry manner to Jessie and James as he used a Fury Swipes attack on their faces.

"We're gonna catch dat blind Blastoise! And dat's what we're gonna do!" Meowth added, still angry at Jessie and James.

He then pulled out an extra large launcher that was made to trap heavy Pokemon like Blastoise.

[Back to Clemont and Bonnie]

"All right, then Blastoise! You ready?" Bonnie asked Blastoise. "Blastoise-Blast!" (Ready!) Blastoise said while forming a fist. He was ready to give Clemont's gadget a shot.

"Okay, then! Luxray! Come on out!" Clemont said as he called out his go-to Electric-type Pokemon.

"Okay, Bonnie! Tell Blastoise where to attack exactly! We're waiting!" Clemont said to Bonnie after getting in position for a little test battle.

"All right, Blastoise! Use Hydro Pump!" Bonnie said as she ordered the blinded Water-type Pokemon.

"Blas--Toise!" Blastoise exclaimed as he aimed his cannons straight ahead and fired a bullet of water.

As expected, Blastoise's Hydro pump didn't hit Luxray at all, and went right above him.

"Bonnie, you should focus more!" Clemont said to Bonnie after her failed first attempt.

"If it's so easy, then why don't you do it!?" Bonnie replied to Clemont in a cranky manner.

"UH--- " Clemont was saying, when suddenly---

*Boom*

A supressed yet audible voice came from the woods nearby the spot. Clemont and Bonnie both quickly looked at the source, and spotted a small white-colored ball coming straight for Blastoise.

"Blastoise! Look out!" Bonnie exclaimed as she ran towards Blastoise. "Blas--?" (What?) A blinded Blastoise said while turning around but still standing still on the spot. 

"No! Bonnie!" Clemont yelled as he looked at Bonnie quickly jump on top of Blastoise in an attempt to save him. 

The small white-colored ball blasted open, revealing a huge net inside it that was attached to a string. The net quickly wrapped itself around Blastoise and Bonnie, trapping the two easily. 

Suddenly the wrapped net released a powerful electric shock, making Blastoise and Bonnie go unconscious. The electric shock caused the blindness dial on the side of Clemont's invention to change from 3 minutes to a random number.

Then the string attached to the net quickly retracted, quickly launching an unconscious Blastoise and Bonnie away and go inside the woods. 

"Bonnie!" Clemont yelled towards the woods where the net had taken the two. Before Clemont could take another step forwards---

"AHA! We got a Twerp Pokemon!" Jessie's voice came as A huge Meowth Hot-Air Balloon emerged from the area where the net came from. The trap holding Blastoise and Bonnie was hanging from the Balloon.

"Oh no! You guys again!?" Clemont said as he recognized the voice and the Balloon.

Jessie: "James! Is that a twerpish question I hear?" 

James: "Speaks to me loud and clear!" 

Jessie: "We've remixed our classic Motto with the other ones!" 

James: "And reinforced this trap to carry tons!"

Jessie: "To Protect the world from devastation!" 

James: "To unite all peoples within our nation!" 

Jessie: "To Denounce the evils of truth and love!"

James: "To extend our reach to the stars above!" 

Jessie: "Jessie!"

James: "And James!" 

Meowth: "Meowth! Now that's a name!"

Jessie: "Team Rocket steals Pokemon at the speed of light!" 

James: "Surrender now, or prepare for another Mega-Evolved fight!"

Meowth: "Meowth! that's right!" 

"Team Rocket!" Clemont said in an anger-filled tone as he saw Jessie, James and Meowth standing on the Balloon basket.

"I heard you were disbanded!" Clemont added as he recalled reading the morning news about the earlier raid in the Viridian Gym.

"We're never gonna leave you twerps with dem powerful Pokemon!" Meowth said while pointing at Clemont and Luxray.

"Luxray! Use---" Clemont was saying, when he got interrupted by James. 

"Weezing! Use your Smokescreen attack!" James said as he released his Weezing. 

"Wee--ziiing---" Weezing said in his painful voice as he released a black thick cloud of smoke all around Clemont and Luxray.

Clemont and Luxray both coughed repeatedly due to the horrible smoke from Weezing. Eventually, the smoke cleared and the balloon was gone.

"Oh no! Bonnie!" Clemont said while holding his head, looking at the spot where Team Rocket had disappeared.

"Luxray! Can you see them?" Clemont asked his loyal buddy, who quickly focused his eyesight to see through the trees nearby. Unfortunately, the trio were nowhere to be found.

Luxray shook his head, letting Clemont know that he didn't find anything.

"Bonnie---" Clemont said in a worry-filled tone as he started thinking about what to do. 

Luxray quickly ran forwards to the edge where the woods started, at the same direction the trap and Team Rocket Emerged from. 

"Lux---Lux!" (We should find them!) Luxray said to Clemont while pointing his head forwards at the woods.

"You're right! Let's go!" Clemont said as he stopped worrying and ran forwards, with his loyal Luxray by his side to search for Bonnie.

[Meanwhile, Over at Bonnie]

"Uh---" Bonnie said as she opened her eyes, and saw her surroundings. She was high in the air, inside the trap that was hanging below the Team Rocket Balloon.

Blastoise was below Bonnie, as he was huge in size and his shell served as a base.

"Blastoise! Are you okay--?" Bonnie said as she leaned forwards and rubbed Blastoise's face, making him open his eyes.

"We need to get out of this---" Bonnie said as she opened her little yellow bag, only to realize that she had left all her Pokeballs at the spot they were resting. But Dedenne was still inside the bag, peacefully sleeping.

"Dedenne!" Bonnie said as she took out her little electric/fairy type Pokemon from the bag, making it wake up from it's sleep.

Dedenne woke up and looked around. "NENE!?" (What!?) He said in shock as he noticed he was inside a trap.

"Dedenne! You have to save us! Cut the strings of this trap!" Bonnie said to her little Pokemon.

"Nenene!" Dedenne replied while nodding his head. He then proceeded to grab the net and started chewing on the strings.

"Right-- they're getting cut! Keep it up, Dedenne!" Bonnie said as she looked at the strings getting cut from Dedenne's little but razor-sharp teeth. 

"Oh no! Stop! I didn't think this through!" Bonnie said to Dedenne in realization as she looked at the thick forest beneath them. 

"Nene?" (huh?) Dedenne said as he stopped chewing on the very last string of the net. But then suddenly---

*snap*

The last string of the net snapped due to the immense weight of Blastoise, causing all three to fall down.

"Ah---!" Bonnie yelled as she, Blastoise and Dedenne fell down towards the forest. They hit the thick branches on their way to the ground, which broke their fall immensely. Due to this, they landed on the ground with very little to no injuries.

Blastoise was laying down on the ground, and Bonnie and Dedenne were on top of his huge shell.

"Whoa-- that was close---" Bonnie said as she got off of Blastoise and on her feet. Dedenne jumped inside her bag to take some rest once again, since it was sleepy.

Blastoise got up on his feet, and dusted himself from the mud on his body.

"Don't worry, Blastoise. Once we get back, I'll clean your shell--- Even though you can't see it, but it's gotten quite dirty---" Bonnie said to Blastoise while looking at his dirt-filled shell.

Suddenly--- Clemont's inventions, the helmet-like part on Blastoise's head and the headset-like one on Bonnie's head started sending off huge sparks.

"Oh No! It's gonna blow!" Bonnie said as she quickly took off the invention on her and Blastoise's head and threw it away at a nearby tree's trunk.

*BOOM*

As soon as the inventions landed, they blew up violently, making a loud explosion in the process and sending off a thick cloud of smoke in the air.

"Whoa--- it's a good thing we took them off when we did" Bonnie said as a small piece of the invention landed near her feet.

Blastoise was looking around in a scared and shocked manner. "Blastoise-- Everything okay?" Bonnie asked her Water-type.

"Blaaaasss!" (I still can't see!) Blastoise yelled as he looked around and at his hands, not getting any light in his eyes.

"Oh, don't worry, Blastoise. Your eyesight will be back any minute now. Clemont set it to three minutes of blindness, so don't panic" Bonnie said to Blastoise as she picked up the small piece from the blown-up invention.

Bonnie looked at the piece, and suddenly got a shocked expression on her face. 

"It's-- It's--" Bonnie said in shock while reading the dial on the piece, which was set to 3000 minutes instead of 3 minutes of blindness.

"OH- NO!" Bonnie yelled loudly while holding her head in pain. Her Blastoise was blinded for 3000 minutes now, and she was in the middle of a forest and away from Clemont who was the only person who could fix everything.

[A few moments earlier, over at the Team Rocket Trio in their Balloon]

The trio were sitting inside the Balloon basket, having a celebratory picnic in the air.

"Haha! Swipin' a blind Pokemon sure is easy-peasy" Meowth said while drinking some soda with his two comrades.

"Yes. We sure were lucky that the science twerp made a Pokemon Blinding machine." Jessie said as she chugged down a glass of soda.

"You know, we should make a ray from the parts of the twerp's invention. That way, we could blind a Pokemon easily before trying to steal it." James said before drinking his glass of soda.

"Dat sounds like a brilliant idea, Jimmy--" Meowth said to James.

Suddenly, the voice from Clemont's blowing up invention came towards the trio.

"Hey! What was dat!?" Meowth said as he got up and looked around at the forest ground, and spotted a small spot in the distance that had smoke rising from it.

"Huh-- I wonder what Pokemon must've done dat" Meowth said as he looked at the smoke rising in the distance. Jessie and James also got up to look around from their high spot in the airborne Balloon.

James quickly looked down at the trap to see how their captives were doing. "Wait a minute!" James said while looking exactly down from the Balloon.

"What is it, James?" Jessie asked James curiously. "Look down at the trap! They're gone!" James said in a shocked tone while pointing down.

"AH! Jimmy's right! That twerpy Pokemon escaped!" Meowth said as he too noticed the empty trap hanging by the Balloon.

"It must be at that place where the smoke's coming from! Let's get to it!" James said as he quickly steered the Balloon to go back and head straight for the rising smoke.

[Meanwhile, over at Clemont and Luxray]

"AH! Luxray! Did you hear that explosion!?" Clemont asked his buddy, who nodded back in response.

"Do you have any clue where it came from?" Clemont added. "Lux--" (Wait--) Luxray said as he focused his eyesight again, looking around the forest when he suddenly spotted the smoke rising from the site of the explosion.

"Lux-Lux!" (There! Follow me!) Luxray said while nodding his head, and then quickly started running forwards at full speed.

[Back to Bonnie and Blastoise]

"That invention sure packed a punch" Bonnie said as she looked upwards at the thick smoke that was coming from the rubble of the blown-up invention.

Suddenly, Bonnie spotted Team Rocket's Balloon.

"Aha! Twerp Pokemon spotted!" James said as the Balloon lowered to the ground and the trio jumped off, right in front of them.

"Go! Arbok!" "Weezing! Come on out!" Jessie and James said as they called out their two Pokemon.

"We're not giving in! We'll take you on!" Bonnie said as she formed a fist, in an attempt to scare the trio.

"Haha! The twerpette thinks we're dumb!" James said as he laughed. "Look, Twerpette. We know that your Blastoise is blinded by the Science Twerp's invention, so you're better off giving up while you can." Jessie said to Bonnie as she raised her hand towards her right ear, which was holding her Key Stone.

"Ah--" Bonnie said in a bit of scared tone, as she didn't know what to do anymore. 

"Blastoise! Blast!" (Let's do this!) Blastoise said to Bonnie as he got low and stood on all four limbs. He took out his two cannons and pointed them straight, just like when they were training earlier.

"Looks like the twerpette wants to play a bit. Oh well" Jessie said as she grabbed hold of her Keystone, making it glow and trigger Arbok's Mega-Evolution. James did the same with his Keystone in his wrist, triggering Weezing's Mega-Evolution.

The two Pokemon Mega-Evolved, and were standing still together a few meters away from Bonnie and Blastoise.

"Okay, Blastoise! They're standing straight ahead! Use Hydro Pump!" Bonnie said as she ordered her Blinded Pokemon.

"Blaass--toise!" Blastoise exclaimed as he shot two bullets of water straight ahead at the two Mega-Evolved foes.

"All right, Arbok! Use your tail to cut it!" Jessie said to her Mega-Arbok.

"Chaaarrr-BOK!" Mega-Arbok exclaimed as he used his blade-like tip of it's tail to slice the two oncoming bullets of water.

"Ah-- That was right on spot, Blastoise! Now, Use Hydro Pump again!" Bonnie said as she ordered another attack.

Blastoise launched another set of Bullets blindly, aimed straight ahead of him.

"Dodge it!" James said as his Mega-Weezing dodged the bullets easily. Mega-Arbok did the same and dodged the attack as well.

"Okay, Arbok! Use Poison Sting!" Jessie said as she ordered an attack. "Weezing! use your Sludge attack!" James exclaimed as he too ordered an attack.

"Chaar-BOK!" Mega-Arbok exclaimed as he opened his mouth and shot a stream of purple-colored needles straight at Blastoise. 

"Wee---zing--" Mega-Weezing said in it's painful voice as it expelled a ball of purple-colored sludge, aimed straight at Blastoise.

"Blastoise! Dodge it! Go left!" Bonnie said quickly while running to the left to avoid getting hit by the Poisonous attacks.

"Blass-TOISE!" Blastoise exclaimed as he used his four limbs to jump to the left, but was a bit late as he got hit by some of the Poison Stings. He was hit hard, but not hard enough to make him poisoned.

"It's so--- they're too powerful---" Bonnie said in a worried manner as she looked at the two Mega-Evolved Pokemon going up against her alone and blind Blastoise.

"Okay, Arbok! use---" Jessie was saying, when suddenly---

"Luxray! Use Swift!" Clemont's voice came from the woods, as multiple yellow stars with golden sparkles around them emerged and hit the both Mega-Arbok and Mega-Weezing.

Suddenly, Clemont and Luxray emerged from the spot and joined Bonnie and Blastoise.

"Brother!" Bonnie said as soon as she saw Clemont. She ran and gave her big brother a little hug.

"Oh- Bonnie-- what happened to my invention?" Clemont said as he and Bonnie released each other from their caring hug. 

"It blew up, and Blastoise is still blind because the timer got set to 3000 minutes--" Bonnie replied to her Big Brother.

"Oh-- I see--- Luxray! Keep them busy!" Clemont said to Luxray while pointing at the two Pokemon in the other side.

Luxray moved forwards and started using various attacks, keeping the Pokemon busy just like it's trainer ordered to do so.

"What are you doing?" Bonnie asked Clemont, who took out a small remote-like device from his bag. "It's a resetter that negates the effects of my invention on Blastoise's brain. I made it just in case---" Clemont replied as he took out the device and pointed it at Blastoise, who was standing still and on all four of his limbs.

Clemont pressed a button on his small remote-like device, which caused a small spark of electricity to come out of it and hit Blastoise's head, making his eyes instantly lose their darkened color and return to normal.

"Blaas--Blass--TIOSE!" (Wha-- All right!) Blastoise said as his vision returned instantly, and making him see everything clearly.

"All right, Luxray! Get in position!" Clemont said as Luxray came back from his offense and stood in front of Clemont, along with Blastoise.

"Let's show them what we can do, Luxray!" Clemont said as he pressed the button on his bag to retract his Aipom Arm.

Clemont's Aipom Arm came out of the back of his bag and hovered above his head. There was a small Keystone attached to the base of it's three fingers.

"A Keystone?" Bonnie said in a surprised manner as she looked on.

"All right, Luxray! Mega-Evolve!" Clemont said as he placed two fingers on the small Keystone, causing it to glow bright yellow and trigger Luxray's mega-evolution.

A Luxrinite got exposed inside Luxray's lower mane right between the joints of it's legs, with a yellow glowing color coming out of it. Rays emerged from the two stones and hit, making Luxray Mega-Evolve.

"Luxxx---RAY!!!" Luxray exclaimed as he transformed. The hair of his mane and body grew in size, and so did his fangs which were now protruding from his mouth kind of like a walrus, but shorter.

Blastoise looked at his side, noticing how powerful Mega-Luxray looked.

"AH!" The Team Rocket trio said in shock as they didn't expect Luxray to Mega-Evolve at this point.

"So this is Luxray's Mega-Evolution---" Bonnie said as she pointed her PokeGear at Mega-Luxray.

PokeGear: "Mega-Luxray. The Gleam Eyes Pokemon. When a Luxray Mega-evolves, it gains a secondary Dark-typing, transforming it into a dual Electric/Dark type. It's extended fangs are extremely powerful and sharp, allowing it to tear through concrete if it wills."

"Wow---" Bonnie was saying while looking at Mega-Luxray's Pokedex entry when suddenly Blastoise spoke up.

"Blasss!!!" (Use the stone!) Blastoise said to Bonnie while pointing at his ear, where the Megastone was located.

"Uh--- Really?" Bonnie asked Blastoise with a bit of doubt. "Blas--!" (Yes!) Blastoise replied as he formed a fist.

"Well--- here goes---" Bonnie said as she placed two fingers on the Keystone fixed in her hair.

Suddenly, the Keystone started glowing, and so did the Megastone in Blastoise's ear.

"Whoa----" Clemont and Bonnie both said with their eyes popped open as they saw Blastoise Mega-Evolve for the first time under Bonnie's training.

"Blaaass---TOISE!!!" Blastoise exclaimed as his two shoulder-cannons joined and turned into a single huge one, and two smaller cannons formed around his hands.

"So this is a Mega-Blastoise--- I've never seen one in the flesh this close---" Clemont said as he pointed his PokeGear at Mega-Blastoise.

PokeGear: "Mega-Blastoise. The Shellfish Pokemon. A Mega-Evolved Blastoise's Shell is so tough that it can take multiple Tank rounds and still stay intact."

"Whoa--- All right, then! Let's do this, Bonnie!" Clemont said to Bonnie after looking at Mega-Blastoise's PokeDex entry.

"Luxray! use Dark Pulse!" "Blastoise! Hydro Pump!" The two Siblings said as they commanded their Mega-Evolved Pokemon.

"Luuxx--RAY!" Mega-Luxray exclaimed as he formed a dark purple orb in front of his mouth, and then shot a dark purple colored beam from the orb straight towards the Two Mega-evolved foes. 

"Blaaaassss-----TOISE!" Mega-Blastoise exclaimed as he shot a huge blue-colored Bullet from his main cannon that looked like a Tank's round, and two smaller bullets of water from his hand-cannons. The three Bullets headed straight for the two Mega-Evolved foes.

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Jessie and James yelled while grabbing each other in fear and looking at the two super-charged attacks coming straight at them.

*BOOM*

The combined Hydro Pump and Dark Pulse hit the Team Rocket trio and their Pokemon hard, causing a huge explosion and sent them off  flying in the air.

"I think I should focus more on my Showcase practice--- After all, I am destined to be Kanto Queen---" Jessie said while floating in the air.

"Don't forget your day job, your highness" James said to Jessie while floating along with his legs crossed like a yogi.

"Even the twerps got dem Mega-evolved Pokemon. It's not fair!!!" Meowth said while floating along the rest.

Team Rocket (In unison): "We're Blasting off again---" 

*Twinkle*

Luxray and Blastoise looked at Team Rocket in the air who had disappeared. They then reverted back from their Mega-Evolved forms.

"All right, Blastoise! We did it!!!" Bonnie said to Blastoise as she hugged his big blue face.

"Good work, Luxray! Now take some rest" Clemont said as he called back Luxray in it's Pokeball.

"You were great, Blastoise! We're finally close enough that you can Mega-Evolve--- It makes me so happy---" Bonnie said while rubbing her face against Blastoise's face.

"Blass---" (Uh---) Blastoise said while sweat-dropping a bit.

"Okay. Let's head back now." Bonnie said to Clemont as she too called back her Pokemon in it's Pokeball. The two siblings then went on their way back to the spot where they came from.

Time Skip: Clemont and Bonnie approach the spot.

"Oh no! I forgot the soup I was cooking!" Clemont said in realization as he ran forwards. Bonnie followed him as she ran as well.

The two siblings reached the spot, only to find out that the pot had been taken off the heat on-time and someone had already consumed some of it.

Ash's tent was set up in the side, but Ash and Serena were nowhere to be seen.

"Hey, why did Ash open up his tent? It's around 3PM right now--- and we were supposed to leave this spot soon and continue ahead---" Bonnie asked Clemont while pointing at Ash's tent that was at a bit of distance.

Suddenly--

"Oh---Oh---OH-- Yeah----OH----" A voice came from the tent.

"Hey, what's that sound? Did it just come from the tent?" Bonnie said in confusion as she stepped towards the tent. 

"AH! NO BONNIE!" Clemont yelled as he quickly grabbed his little sister and put both his hands on her ears, in an attempt to avoid having her listen to Serena moaning continuously.

"What is it, big brother?" Bonnie asked Clemont in an innocent manner.

"UH--- let's go and do some training-- a bit away from here---" Clemont said to his little sister as he dragged her away from the camp, with his hands on her ears as he did his best to muffle the sounds Ash and Serena were making inside the tent. Clemont finally realized what was going on.

(In Clemont's thoughts) "What is even going on between those two. I never would've guessed they were this serious already---" Clemont thought to himself with a red face, as he continued getting Bonnie away from the spot.

"What was that noise, Big Brother? Do you have any clue?" Bonnie said in her innocent manner as she continued walking with her ears covered by Clemont.

"Keep on walking. I'll explain later--- some day--- maybe---" Clemont said in an embarrassed tone as he continued taking his innocent little sister away from the spot.

*Freeze Frame*

Narrator: "Ahaha! It seems like Clemont didn't expect this to happen! So, After a little time away from everyone and earning the trust of it's trainer, Blastoise finally Mega-Evolved at the opportune moment. Ash and Serena started to get doubts about their future together, but as Clemont would tell you, those doubts are down the drain.
