Epilogue
"You only miss those people whom you have forgotten. Those who are in your heart would never be missed because they are never forgotten."

~Namjoon's POV~
||
Today was the six-month anniversary of when Y/N first kidnapped me.
So much had changed in these six months.
Starting with the basics, the three Kim brothers were now officially a part of the Song gang. I had successfully persuaded Jin Hyung that now we should quit running and defend ourselves while building our own world. Our initiation ceremony was done and we were happily accepted into the gang.
Maria was beyond happy because she finally found someone as quirky as her, which was Taehyung.
Maria and Jimin often got into fights over who would spend time with Taehyung, and I must say Tae enjoyed the attention a lot.
Also, we were now permanently living in the Song Mansion.
Although Jimin and Jungkook were still weary of us, now for a different reason.
At first, they didn't trust us enough, and that hasn't changed yet.
Whenever I tell them that it wasn't me who ate all the Nutella in the house, they never believe me. I always say the truth, because it wasn't me who ate all of it, I shared it with Taehyung.
Anyways.
Sunghoon had completely recovered and would now teach me about everything in the Mafia world. Everything I needed to know from the mafia names to their areas of control.
Much better than our tutors back home.
We were also planning on getting Eomma out of the Kim Mansion with the help of Jimin's plan of sneaking in from the AC vents again, but the only problem was even though we had Minjun hostage with us for the last month, Uncle Chanyoung didn't even bother to check up on him.
"He really is a piece of waste," Jin Hyung had joked.
Jin Hyung became more lively since the ordeal. Now we had nothing to hide from, and he was no longer suspecting everything to be a trap.
He even enjoyed the training sessions with Yoongi Hyung, yes we now call them Hyungs, and boy, their fights were something worth watching.
During this time I learned Hoseok Hyung becomes very quiet when he is drunk, while Yoongi Hyung' chaotic self comes out when he gets drunk.
I also learned a great deal about coffee making, but I am banned from the kitchen when I accidentally set the stove on fire while boiling water. To date, I have no idea how I did that.
Everything was getting back to normal, at least what is normal according to the mafia world.
It was all the same, yet so different.
We also learned everything about Youngsoo and Lucas, and when I reread his diary I could see why he turned all happy endings into sad ones. His life had taken a sad ending.
Everyone was devastated after learning that it wasn't Youngsoo they beat up, it was Lucas.
Everyone was scared the most about Maria's reaction, but she was happy. Happy that her love wasn't a traitor, but a warrior.
Youngsoo was never a traitor.
We all went to visit his grave, and I offered him flowers from Y/N too.
Oh, I forgot to mention Y/N.
It was all very different since she was gone.
It was hard to cope actually.
Sometimes I wish she was here, to help me navigate through all these rooms.
But alas, no matter how hard I try I will always end up getting lost in the house, with no other option than to wait until someone finds me.
"Marco!" I hear her voice.
"Polo!" I yelled back.
It was the fifth time in a row that we were separated in this game. It was Jungkook's idea actually, that we play a mix-match version of Marco Polo and Tag, you're it. The rules were very confusing, and so were the rooms.
The rules said that everyone will be divided into pairs, and they had to roam around the house together because it was 2 am in the morning and we were not allowed to turn on the lights, we got lost very easily. As we were not allowed to hold hands or say anything except 'Marco Polo', we would always be separated. If someone caught an unpaired person the person would be eliminated. The winners would get a surprise gift which I was 100% sure would be something really weird like a cactus.
"Marco!" Y/N appeared in the doorway, out of breath.
"Polo!" I cried in relief.
I couldn't bear to lose this time.
Y/N's wound was finally cured enough that she could walk, and the first thing she wanted to do was to get up and play with everyone.
"Let me sit here for a minute," Y/N entered the room, closing the door behind her as she sat on a random chair.
Outside, we could hear the faint voices of Marco Polo between the other pairs.
"You understood the game yet?" I asked.
"Nope, but it's fun," Y/N shrugged, wincing slightly at the movement.
"Are you hurt?" I rushed to her side checking if her bandage needed to be changed again.
"Aniyo, I'm fine," Y/N shook her head, "I'm just out of breath. It's been so long since I ran on a treadmill, you know? It takes time."
"You have a gym here?" I asked.
How many rooms did they have?
"Jimin didn't give you a tour yet? Wait, I'll give you one. Maybe tomorrow. Oh wait, your fencing classes are remaining too, Gosh, so much to do." Y/N muttered.
This was just like her. Trying to do everything at once.
Even when the doctor had told her to rest, she would always complain about so much work she needed to do. On Youngsoo's anniversary, she had specially told me that I should offer him flowers in place of her because she wasn't allowed to get up.
I sometimes felt the urge to listen to her talk about her brother, the way she talked you could see how much they loved each other.
But then my anger towards Lucas increased tenfold because he had manipulated her into believing that her brother's love was fake.
Which reminded me of a very important question.
"Y/N, you never told us how did you know it was Lucas?" I asked curiously.
Y/N smiled. "Oh, I should tell you that."
Y/N 's eyes brightened as if she were telling some heroic tale, which she was in a way. "So you see, you had told me he had scars? Well, no natural scar needs stitches most of the time, so I was naturally suspicious. Moreover, his behavior was weird too, and when you said he grew angry when you mentioned the Song gang, well that's when it really grew suspicious. And the day he called, he gave away a piece of vital information, that he was related to Gerald. And then I remembered Lucas's full name was Lucas Anderson and BOOM!! everything made sense." Y/N smiled proudly.
"Wow, that was so clever," I said because I was really impressed.
Y/N usually surprised me with her little quirks.
She was so much like us, and yet special in her own way.
Like she loved to smell books, and would always dance in the rain, even if she catches a fever the next day. She loved sleeing in late but also loved drinking coffee.
Every day I would learn something new about her, and that made me even more curious.
"You wanna stargaze someday?" Y/N asked excitedly.
"Only if you don't get drunk again." I laughed.
"Oh god don't remind me," Y/N shook her head.
I laughed remembering her that day.
"You were really cute though. I like your drunk self better." I chuckled.
Y/N looked at me with her big round eyes. Her cheeks were slowly tinted with red.
"You think I was cute?" She asked me.
"Of course. You looked like a child. And you called me a koala." I said.
"Oh my god," Y/N said in a horrified whisper.
I laughed at her reaction.
"Don't tell me you forgot everything?"
"Of course I did!"
And I was again laughing out loud, learning another thing about Y/N.
She blushes when someone compliments her.
I would keep this in mind for the near future, for purely educational purposes.
