~No one's POV~

"Eat." Jimin pushed the plate of food towards Namjoon. The tied boy smiled weakly.
"Why don't you let me die?" He asked.
Jimin sighed and sat on the chair in front of Namjoon. He was the only person beside Y/N who could enter this room. The others were sure they would kill him in the process of getting the information.
"Because we need you. Not you exactly, someone else. But you are the key. Consider yourself special." Jimin smiled, his eyes turning to crescents. His smile soon dropped to nothing as he stood up.
Namjoon watched him exit the room. The shard of light that entered the room from the vent above only source of light. He could see the faint blotches of blood on the floor, which dampened his curiosity about what this room actually looked like.

"Namjoon-ah!" Jin shouted as they entered the house.
Correction, empty house.
"Joonie? We are home." Taehyung shouted too.
No response.
Taehyung ran upstairs to check in Namjoon's room. Jin dialled Namjoon's number but didn't hear the phone ringing anywhere in the house. Taehyung too came back scratching his head.
"Namjoon Hyung isn't here. Where did he go?" Taehyung asked.
As Jin was about to suggest something, his phone went off. It was an unknown number.
"Hello?" Jin said.
"Without beating around the bush, let me introduce myself. I am a human. Who has kidnapped another human whose name is something like Kim Namjoon. So you, be a good human and save this human." The voice on the other side was a female voice.
Jin tightened his hold on the phone. He was furious but he knew anger won't help them get Namjoon back.
"What do you want?" Jin asked barely controlling his anger.
"Aww. You are a good boy! But your brother is not. I had to teach him a lesson." The female sighed. "Anyway. We have sent you an email. Answer it in an hour. If you do, this will be the shortest kidnapping case in history. And if you don't, let me skip the details and tell you, you definitely won't like it."
The person hung up and Jin threw the phone, shattering it to pieces. Taehyung grabbed Jin's shoulders to calm him down, while Jin was breathing heavily.
"Taehyung-ah. Write a letter. Answer their questions on the laptop and our message on the letter. We need to be careful not to let them know." Jin instructed the younger as he ran a hand through his hair. "Send it to him. We need help."
Taehyung nodded.
Both needed to keep calm.
||
"Who is Choi Giho?" Taehyung read the email. "Who is he?" He looked up at Jin who was sitting on the couch facing Taehyung.
"I don't know. Skip it." Jin answered.
"Okay. Next question, What is your job?" Taehyung looked at Jin with wide eyes.
"Should we tell them?" He asked.
"Yes. There is no other option. And I bet they at least have a guess about our jobs, so no point in lying." Jin answered with a sigh.
Taehyung nodded as he typed the answer.
"Where are your parents? What do they have to do with our parents?" Taehyung asked.
"Our parents don't have that clean reputation. They probably messed with these guys. The main question is how much do they know?" Jin sighed. "Next question?"
"Hold on." Taehyung typed the answer and scrolled to the next question. "What is your age?" Taehyung scoffed. "This is an important question."
He typed the answer.
"Next, Where did you live before?" Taehyung and Jin made eye contact. "Now that's weird."
"Yes, it is. Tell them the Gwangju address, they probably don't know the Ilsan one." Jin said and Taehyung entered his answer.
"Next...uh, Hyung?" Taehyung called.
"What happened? Say it?" Jin said.
"No it isn't a question. It's a note." Taehyung handed the laptop to Jin.
"Teach your brother some good defence techniques. He threw a stone at a man in the alley who was groping me. Pathetic."
Jin and Taehyung looked at each other. "He never told us this." Jin whispered, his paranoia climbing up. "He knows!" Jin grabbed his hair, his nightmares taking a turn to reality.
"Hyung! Hyung! Calm down, maybe he thought it wasn't important enough? Let him come, when he comes we can ask him okay?" Taehyung tried to calm Jin when his phone rang.
Jin took some deep breaths and nodded at Taehyung to pick up the call.
"Hello." He answered blankly.
"Give him some water first. And yes, a bit of food. I bet he loves it." The female on the other side cheerfully replied.
"How did you...?" Taehyung trailed off scanning the whole room for any signs of unnecessary holes and crevices.
"Don't stare around Taehyung-ah, did you answer my questions?" The voice asked with the same cheerfulness. It made Taehyung sick.
"We did. But we won't send you that until we get Namjoon." Taehyung threatened.
"Aww, then send it in three seconds because Namjoon is on the wa-" The front door opened revealing Namjoon brought by Jimin and Jungkook. "Ah, he came. Now send the answers fast! Bye!"
The female hung up and Jin ran to hug Namjoon but was stopped by the Busan boys.
"E-mail." Jimin said shortly.
Taehyung ran and hurriedly pressed enter to send the answers to them. As soon as the email was sent, they turned around to find the Busan boys were already gone and Namjon standing there with tears in his eyes.
"Hyung..." He whispered and Jin simply hugged him, not too tightly because the bruises on his wrists were clearly visible and they were afraid he might be hurt more than that.
Taehyung's phone rang again and he put it on speaker.
"First of all, thank me for keeping your friend alive." The female still carried the same cheerfulness.
"Second, I wasn't spying on you. I have more works to do than spy on commoners." Jin clenched his jaw but said nothing.
"Third, Namjoon. If you ever saw me outside, turn around and get lost. We don't know each other from now, you never met me I never saw you. Got it?" All the playfulness was gone and now the voice sounded emotionless.
"Understood." Namjoon whispered.
"Great. Now this will be our last talk. And if I learn that the information you gave me was wrong, then I am afraid to say this is not our last encounter." The female hung up and Jin hurried to the kitchen to make some food for Namjoon.
So much had happened in just one day that he didn't know what exactly to expect from Namjoon.
So he just concentrated on not burning the kimchi fried rice.

~Somewhere else~

"Sir. There was a boy that was brought unconscious. Probably kidnapped. But when he left, he didn't have any scars, no broken bones, no injuries, nothing. As if he was here for a visit." The speaker reported to his boss.
"Who was the boy?" The boss asked.
"We don't know the details but he is a university student. Lives just nearby." The person recalled from memory. "And also she told her workers to give him food. Something not done for someone kidnapped."
The boss smirked. "What if he isn't just someone?"
The person furrowed their eyebrows. "I'm sorry I didn't get it?"
"Find that boy. He must be someone special. He might have simply paid a visit and they made it look like a kidnapping."
The boss played with the paperweight that resembled a glass ball filled with a red liquid like frozen blood.
"It is time Song Empire is thrown away." The person bowed and went outside, instructing his acquaintances about the new mission.
"You are gone, Song Y/N." The boss smirked.
