I was very traumatised by the sudden disappearance of Florence that day. I couldn't control myself.  I was always scared and I was always sweating a lot.

I didn't go to the university for 4 days.
I pretended to be sick.
I was too afraid to step outside.

The day that incident occurred, I stayed at Ryan's. The next day the latter walked me home. After that I didn't dare to go out. My parents were worried. I wasn't talking to anybody and they thought of getting me some mental help.

They called a psychiatrist.

The psychiatrist asked me some sort of weird questions to which I didn't reply. The only thing that went on my mind was 'where did Florence vanish?'

Jessica, my mentor, came to visit me.

She was my best. As soon as I saw her I automatically hugged her and I started to cry.

I couldn't stop myself and I narrated to her everything about Florence.

She was as shocked as Ryan was.

"Like, you saw her disappearing in front of you?" She asked.

"Yes." I answered slowly.

"But how?" She asked again.

Unfortunately, I had no answers.

"Wait." Ryan suddenly my hops in.

"I think we should talk to Shane." He said.

Realization hit me at the very second.
Ryan was right. It could be that Shane witnessed her disappearing and that's why Florence attacked him.

But why didn't she attack me. She showed me her disappearing talent  herself.

Why?

I was left puzzle.

"Who is Shane?" Jessica asked.

"He's our classmate and......." Ryan narrated to her everything that happened to Shane.

"Woah. This girl has something. She's a weirdo." Jessica blabbered.

"And I really need to find out what this weirdo is planning. I think we should talk to Shane." I said immediately.

"Twan. Stop bothering  yourself please. Whatever the matter is, we will get to its root." Jessica reassured.

I was relieved by the arrival of Jessica. I was more relieved when she told me that she would be staying with us until the whole matter doesn't get sort out. Jessica was always there for me.
And without forgetting Ryan.

"Do your parents know about this?" Jessica asked.

"No." I answered.

"Hmm it's good for us anyway. We have to do everything secretly. But first, twan, you need to cook up stories to tell them why you've been so mentally distressed lately. I heard you didn't attend classes for 4 days!" Jessica explained.

"But what should I say?" I asked with crystals of sweats on my forehead.

"I got you." Ryan gave me a cunning smile.

In the evening

"Twan!" My mother shouted as she entered my room.

My dad, Jessica and Ryan entered behind her.

"Twan. You should not be so afraid dear. It happens and it doesn't mean that we'll be that angry with you." My mom said.

"Yes my son. You should have told us earlier. Never stress yourself like that." My dad interrupted.

"What are you talking about." I asked, confused.

"Stop hiding it now. Ryan told us everything." My mother said.

"But..." I was really confused.

"Umm. Twan. I told them that you got an F in your physics assignment and that's why you were so stressed out." Ryan quickly explained.

"What?" I was shocked.

"Son. You don't have to feel guilty. You must fail a few times to reach success. Now stop stressing yourself. We are not mad at you. Just concentrate on other assignments." My dad said.

And both of my parents left.

Ryan and Jessica jumped on my bed.

"I never failed that physics assignment." I told Ryan.

"Chill. I just changed your answer sheet with mine. I showed your parents mine, on which I got an F." Ryan explained.

Jessica laughed louder than she could which made me chuckle too as I pulled out Ryan's cheek.
