The cold water ran down my body. I felt tired. It was indeed a tough day. I felt sorry for Shane but he deserved this punishment. He will no longer be able to check out girls now.

After my shower, I went in the kitchen and took two cups of ice cream and went out in the garden. Ryan wasn't out yet so I called out his name until he finally popped out of his window and waved at me.

"Come out!" I exclaimed.

He quickly rushed downstairs and met me in my garden itself.

As soon as he met me, he snatched one of the cup of ice cream from me.

"I really needed this." He said as he started to open the cup immediately.

Whenever he was nervous, sad or stressed out, only ice cream could heal him out.

"Chill out Ryan. The ice cream is not going anywhere. It's yours." I told him, watching him devouring the ice cream.

He didn't reply. He concentrated only on his ice cream.
He was really very scared by that Shane incident. I still noticed fear in his eyes.

I was still observing Ryan when suddenly he looked at me.

"Are you going to eat this one?" He asked as he pointed his fingers towards the other cup of ice cream in my hands.

When I looked in his cup, it was empty. He finished all the ice cream in no time and I was like what the hell!

I gave him the second one without saying a word.

He ate the second ice cream too. When he finished he took a deep breath and lowered his head. We were both silent.

"Dude. It's okay. It's over now..." I said.

"It's okay?? Twan I was in jail!" He exclaimed.

I let out a sigh and looked away from Ryan.

"I'm sorry. I know it was all my fault. I shouldn't have assigned Shane to follow your umbrella girl..." He started but then I cut his sentence.

"Florence." I said.

Ryan didn't understand and looked at me as if I was an alien.

"Her name is Florence." I explained.

"How did you find out?" He asked.

"I talked to her today." I said.

"What? Are you serious? That....that's fabulous. I mean finally.... See. My efforts weren't a waste." Ryan said as he laughed.

I laughed too. Ryan was normal again.

"You know what. She has no parents." I told Ryan.

"Oh... Poor her. It must be hard for her." Ryan sighed.

"Yeah..." I replied.

Living without parents is indeed very hard. I wondered how her life was.....with whom she lives.

"It's her birthday too....today!" I said immediately.

"Woah.... That's the biggest gift you got." Ryan jumped out of joy.

"It's her birthday, not mine." I rolled my eyes at Ryan.

"Hahahha..... Hey... Today is also the birthday of Mr Seth's late daughter right." Ryan reminded.

"Yes. Mr Seth must be feeling lonely right now." I said in a low voice.

"So must be your umbrella girl. I mean... Florence." Ryan said.
