Clay×Peril!!! Above is a song I thought goes well with their ship (imagining Peril singing); "Still Learning" by Hasley

This is, in my opinion, canon.
I did my research and I really do think Clay and Peril could have a future together.

Now I did my Fandom browsing and a lot of it was actually counteracting the Clayril ship, and shipping Pertle. Why the heck is that ship around anymore?? I don't mean this as offensive, it just doesn't make sense!

One think I read was that "The ship is toxic on Peril' s part. She obviously sees Clay as a new Scarlet".
I'm not going to deny this. The only reason Peril thinks this way is because she's never had a crush in her life!! The only person she's ever had to make "like her" was Scarlet. She didn't have anyone else to please so when she met Clay she acted like this because she didnt know how to act and thought this was the way to make him proud of her and maybe like her.

"Peril is one year older then the DoD and she is a student at Jade Mountain. Clay is one of her teachers and 'dateing' one of his students. Teacher of the year"
That wasn't exactly what it said but you get the point. May I remind you that this isn't humans (scavengers) we're dealing with here. Plus it's  been confirmed that this is a few thousand years in the past. I think no one really cares that Peril and Clay might be dating and the whole teacher student thing.

Pertle is not going to work, and I'm sorry to any Pertle shippers out there. I mean, idk why there are still people shipping this!
1: Peril likes Clay
2: Turtle likes Kinkajou
3: there is no way in the universe that Peril would leave Clay

That is a quote on quote from the Darkness of Dragons, book 10. Peril likes Clay and I think it's proven that Clay likes Peril. They both seem pretty happy together.
