Sunshine
"Satsuki, Satsuki, Satsuki," Toad repeated over and over again as the two stood in the chemistry lab. "Such a mouthful. I think for our next show-"
"No," Toadette stopped him. "We are not using her name. Her life is not meant to be a show, y'know."
"I know, but her story is such good material," Toad sighed. "Perfect for whatever those... cartoons. Anime."
"Would you watch it?" Toadette asked in amusement. "Last time I checked, you didn't really watch anime."
"Maybe I would. We'll find out."
"Ah, Toad, just the man I was looking for," Monokuma sneered condescendingly, making the two grimace. "I need to talk to you about something."
"Surely you can say it in front of both of us."
"Nope. Only Toad, or no deal," Monokuma told them. "This is crucial information, so..."
"Fine," Toadette looked away. "Be safe."
She walked away cautiously, and Monokhma rubbed his little hands together in excitement.
"Now then, let me tell you a little secret..."

Sarah was singing softly as Peach snuck past her room to go meet with Mario, but she frowned as she heard the singing. She had such a wonderful voice...
Peach shook her head, and continued on her way.

"So, I've been thinking about those numbers we saw earlier," Peach trotted next to Mario, who stared at her. "You know?"
"The one's in the room?" Mario asked. "I don't know what they mean."
"I'm not sure either, but it's definitely for some sort of code. 1303337, it's too random to not!" Peach frowned. "There's no way there's three E's in a row, that probably wouldn't make a word... so what if they're turned?"
"What?"
"Well, a turned three can make a W, S, an E... I'm not sure what the one and the three are at the beginning, but this is what I made out of it so far."
Peach threw down a sheet a paper, which read multiple notes. She pointed at the one with blank spaces.
_ _ O _ _ _ _ R
"That's all I could make from it."
"Peach, are you on something?" Mario asked her, concerned as he looked at the rest of the paper. "What's this about a... brainwash?"
"Doesn't it make sense?" Peach insisted. "There's apparently a king, but we never remembered him!"
"Or maybe they put us in a coma," Mario said sarcastically. "Peach, I like what you're thinking, but I don't think they'd brainwash us-"
"They put us in this place to begin with," Peach pointed out, raising her brow. "You don't think they're capable of brainwashing us?"

Everyone was gathered for dinner when Soleil stood on the table.
"Everyone, if we stop all this endless killing, we can all just live happily!" Soleil shouted. "This is so unnecessary! Monokuma won't let us out either way, and we're not skilled enough to pull off a successful murder! You will get caught if you try! We can all live happily if we just-"
"Is this what you consider happily?" Birdo snorted, laughing hysterically. "News flash, this isn't very happily! We're all just waiting around to die!"
"We can all survive if we stop killing each other-"
"You heard Monokuma," Kaira spoke, her hand falling on her katana. "He'll bring the person most special to me back.."
"It's a lie! Delusions," Soleil continued. "Do you really think he can bring someone back!? You're all just thinking that because we're desperate! The only way to survive is if we help ourselves. Don't kill!"
Sarah and Rubi glanced at their friend, worried as everyone seemed to disagree with the pink haired girl and her innocent belief. Considering everyone had lost someone, they were all desperate for that one person back.
It honestly didn't surprise them, but Soleil was just digging a bigger hole for herself...
"Come on guys," Soleil said desperately, her hands moving around as she tried to convince everyone around her. "If we don't kill, we'll be alright-"
"This is not alright," Kaira growled. "This life is worse than death."
"Then why don't you kill yourself already so we can be rid of you?" Birdo sniffed, and everyone gasped.
"Birdo!"
"Oh, that is it!" Kaira pulled out her katana, her eyes darkening as her pupils disappeared. "You're going to regret what you just said."
"Everyone, just stop!" Soleil yelled, her pink eyes watering. "Just...stop. Arguing isn't going to get us anywhere. Birdo, that wasn't a nice thing to say. This is just going to result in more death... don't you all want to live?"
Kaira still stood with her blade at attention, Peach looked away guiltily, Mario couldn't bring himself to look at Soleil. Toad and Toadette stared at the pink haired girl blankly, Birdo sniffed and looked away, Sarah and Rubi stood tensely fearing for their friend's life, while Waluigi was just bored by her whole friendship speech. Things were just getting worse by the second.
"Let's all just go to bed," Soleil said hoarsely. "We'll meet up for breakfast tomorrow... everyone, cool your head."
Everyone walked away, but Kaira shot a glare towards Birdo as she departed. Slightly fearful for her life, Birdo made sure to lock her doors.

Mario, Peach, and Birdo all went to go check up on everyone the next morning to make sure everyone was okay. Birdo had tagged along just in case Kaira had come to do away with her. No matter what she said, Birdo was scared for her life.
They opened the door to a certain person's room...

"Y'know, I wish I could say I was surprised that she's dead," Birdo shrugged. "But I'm really not."
"How can you say that!? Soleil was so nice!"
