Motives
Krystal was sitting alone in the library, reading her favorite books on the gems she loved so much. She kept thinking that when she got out, she was going to continue her research and to find more gems, but this time when she did, she wanted to keep her friends this time.
Krystal wasn't religious, but at that moment, she prayed that she'd be able to make it out, and find good friends.
"Hey, Krystal," Samantha smiled, as she walked by her. "Mind if I sit here?"
"Hmm? O-oh, go for it," Krystal forced a smile back onto her face. Back to pretending nothing's wrong. "No problem!"
"Alright, cool," Samantha exclaimed. "I'm going to go grab a book, I'll be right back. But are you alright? You looked a little shaken up."
"Oh, I'm fine," Krystal reassured her. "Don't worry about me."
"Okay, I'll be back then."
The girl with dark blue hair left to go find a book, while Krystal cursed herself silently for letting her guard down. No more slip ups. I have to pretend everything's okay...
Everything is okay. You deserve everything that happens to you- for pushing your friends away. You pushed them away, you got bullied. It makes sense. It makes sense. Of course it does.
"Hey, uh, Krystal," Samantha waved her hand in front of Krystal's face, snapping the blonde out of her trance. "You alright?"
"Y-yeah," Krystal nodded. Dammit, Krystal, two slip ups in a row? "I was just... thinking."
"Okay," Samantha took the explanation. "What'cha reading?"
"You really wanna know?" Krystal was surprised. "It's nothing big."
"Yeah!"
"Just stuff on gems, I'm trying to study more. The one that I found-"
"Right, you're the gemologist," Samantha realized. "Wait, you found one?"
"Yeah," Krystal smiled, her chest swelling with pride. "It's a new gem that I found. I named it..."
The conversation continued, and Krystal smiled as she realized her dream of having friends outside of the world was increasing.
Maybe... there was hope?

"Oh, come on," Birdo sighed exasperated, placing a hand on her head in irritation. "You're telling me she got bullied and that's why she's a bitch? Just fucking admit to being mean plainly."
"Maybe you should give her a chance," Sarah said, sticking up for Pauline and disliking Birdo's words. "She's being nice now."
"Nice is boring," Birdo turned her nose up. "No one is 'nice' for real reasons."
"Um, that's not true at all!" Sarah frowned. "I like to be nice because it makes other people happy."
"Sure, but what about your happiness?" Birdo reminded her. "It's okay to be selfish."
"I think my happiness should come last," Sarah explained. "If it means other people can be happy, then that's good enough for me. That's why I sing- so people can be happy."

"Ingrid... I love your name!" Samantha exclaimed, keeping her hand in her pocket and holding the thing she treasured so dearly. It was a simple picture, just her and her family, but she held it when she needed it, or just out of habit. "It's so pretty."
"Oh, thanks," Ingrid smiled, playing with a bracelet with an 'L' on it. "I like it too. I'm not one of those people who hate my name, or whatever."
"What's the 'L' stand for?" Samantha asked curiously, gesturing to her bracelet.
"Loser," Ingrid teased. "No, it stands for Lemmy. He's one of my twins."
"One of them?" Samantha's eyes widened. "Wow, that must be cool! How many do you have?"
"We're triplets," Ingrid explained. "I love them a lot."
"Wow, that sounds fun!"
"Yeah," Ingrid thought. "It was."

Rosalina was humming softly in the library, alone. Everyone was planning on meeting in the cafeteria pretty soon, but Rosalina just wanted a chance to mourn.
"Dear Mother..." Rosalina began, talking to herself out loud. "I miss you a lot. If I could change one thing, it would be my existence..."
Rosalina clenched her fists, looking down in fury and sadness towards herself.
"You were the best mother anyone could ever have. If I just... if I had just been paying attention, you wouldn't have been hit by that car... it should've been me. Why would you sacrifice yourself...?"
Rosalina inhaled deeply, letting herself cry alone. She thought of your younger self- her rebellious ways ranging from running away from a perfectly good home, smoking, drinking... nothing like the person she was like now. After her mother passed away, she'd sobered up, and although it had taken awhile to get away from addiction, she did it. She began taking in the homeless, calling them her "Lumas" meaning 'stars' and that they could now have a future ahead of them.
"I was never perfect... but I'm going to try for you."

The next morning, Rosalina, Mario, and Peach all went to go pick up the rest of their friends, and meet for lunch. Rosalina knocked on the door, but there was no answer.
"Hello?" Peach called out, knocking once again. "It's Peach!"
Again, no answer. Hesitantly, Peach opened the door, and let out a horrified scream.

"Daisy!" Peach screamed out, tears falling down her face. "Please, no...babe, wake up! Wake up!"
"Babe?" Rosalina questioned, and Mario's eyes widened.
"What!?"

Hey everyone! Can't believe I forgot to put Dixie in here...
More clues will be added later on in investigation. To everyone who is not satisfied with the clues- I'm trying my best. I watched a YouTube video where this guy tried to do a Danganronpa series but his clues were way too obvious. I also wanted to make this a little more realistic, and I find it hard to believe people would actually do dumb stuff like leave weapons behind, most people are smart. So far the murderers have especially been who I consider some of the smartest in this storyline, so I don't see why there should be good clues. I want it to be hard to figure out, I don't want everyone to guess it. That's part of the reason my Mafia stories have been successful- cause it's not typical. So I'm sorry if you're not satisfied, I'm going to do my best, but it's not going to be obvious. You're going to have to think. If you don't want to think, then just go along with the storyline, it's not required for you to figure it out to enjoy this book.
I wanted to upload a little earlier, but YouTube was being a bitch and not working with the video. Don't know why I'm surprised.
Who dun it?
Thanks for reading!
