Fun Facts!
Hey everyone! These are just some 'bonus' things to let you all know what's going through my insane mind!
Please read the entire book before this, unless you want spoilers. Cause I can relate. But really, you shouldn't. Be a good person! There's also a couple of Danganronpa ones, so..
1. As some of you know, Krystal's trial was written before everyone died... so some dead characters temporarily came back to life! Until I fixed it, ahah.
2. It was supposed to be Birdo that died instead of Pauline, but I kinda liked having an irredeemable bitch. Birdo's like the character who I'd never be able to understand, because I can't get why people would purposely be mean like that all the time. She has the least character development in the book, and that's done on purpose. You are meant to hate Birdo, for absolutely no reason. Congrats!
3. There's currently been three drawings of Saiko's "death". One that I discarded at the beginning cause I hated it, another that SaltyNuts drew because I couldn't bring myself to draw it again, and then another one because I like to torture myself.
4. Favorite OC? Rubi! I just loved her so much and the reason for being bitter. She probably had some of the most character development of all the characters (or Krystal) and that's because I had the most fun writing her. Y'all were like 'she's dead as hell' what the hell do you guys have against her? Lol. I will say that I would've liked to see that fight of Ingrid v Kaira play out, though.
5. Normally I hate 'good' characters that follow the rules, but for some reason, I really enjoyed writing Sarah. Not sure why, but I'm not complaining.
6. Sometimes I would forget stuff about your OC's and then go back, realize I messed up, and then switch it. Oops.
7. Samantha was supposed to die second/third, buuuuuuuuuut as you can see that didn't happen. Killing off OC's early was hard, since they still needed development, but I opted for Maria's death rather than Samantha's since Maria's death made more sense.
8. Soleil reminds me of the Fire Emblem character with the same name. Not really important, just made me laugh.
9. Krystal was supposed to have red hair and eyes, but since her appearance was so similar to Kaira's and I didn't want you guys to get confused (red hair/eyes, name starts with K) I had her switched to platinum blonde and pink/red eyes. However, I did have her dye her hair red at the end- which is unfortunately the reason she died, haha.
10. Monokuma has no significance in this story. Oops.
11. I really, really really wanted to kill Kaira off way earlier.
12. Junko Enoshima was a character I kindaaaaaaa disliked just a little bit. Multiple personality disorder (I believe it's called schizophrenia? Correct me if I'm wrong) is fine in real life, and it's a serious issue. I'm aware of that. I feel like she was just too much, and it bothered me (not sure why.) Same with... I'm blanking on her name, but the murdering girl. Her stereotype of obsessed yandere just gave me anxiety. I tried to stay clear away from that, obviously we had to delve a lil into it with Kaira because of Satsuki, but... yeah.
13. Maria was created by their... creator... to be Mario's sister, but because of the relationship I had created between Mario/Luigi, I didn't want another factor in there.
14. As I've said before, I don't ship anything in the Mario universe. When people started requesting a little Paisy, that's how the next trial was born. Peach's grief was fun to write (wow... that sounds horrible of me) and changing it up a little was fun!
15. I didn't really have Waluigi appear much in this story, and I did that for a reason. Wario died early on, and what reason did Waluigi have to kill? He got the bad end of the stick, sorry man.
16. Here are some unused executions for the characters that survived or were murdered. This will probably get updated from time to time.
Soleil: She was trapped in a tank- which rapidly began filling with not water, but the sweet tea she loved so much. Once it was full, Soleil desperately tried to save herself- and in doing so, was drinking the tea. Which was when the poison set in
Waluigi: The purple clothed man sat at a desk, monokuma across from him. He kept making deals, more and more, and for every one he won, money piled on top of him- and the dirt under him got lower. Eventually, he was buried in money- and six feet underground. Before he could realize, all the dirt from before crashed in on him.
Peach: The pink clothed female was about to be crowned- dressed fancily. As she was, she suddenly began choking as the room filled with poisonous gas. The crown had spikes on it, digging into her head, and she suffered a painful headache that let to her demise.
17. I actually thought Krystal's trial was the easiest, and you guys said it was the hardest. I figured that since she'd been backstabbed, it would've been obvious that only the back (red) part of her head would be seen, and then she was attempted to be saved showing that it was an accident. The timeline showed that the night Kaira v Ingrid was supposed to happen was the night Krystal was murdered, and it would've been obvious. Idk though, just me.
18. Peach was supposed to be the person during trials who's like 'okay I'll lay everything out' and then do nothing else.
Basically, just me in class. Pretend you know what to do by saying the first thing, then never say anything ever again and people will still think you're smart. YIKES.
19. My favorite chapter is the epilogue.
20. Why the hell did ya'll think it was Bowser when I said it was someone inside the school? Lol. Might've been my fault, I don't think I specified until a couple chapters later. Ya'll were adamant it was Bowser tho, haha.
That's pretty much it! Once again, thank you all so much for reading. There's still a lot in store if you liked this book, so stay tuned.
Thanks for reading!
