Army
When I'm with you
When I'm with you
I'm standing with an army
And they don't stand a chance
"The fourth floor's been unlocked!" Monokuma howled with excitement, his tiny hands clapping while everyone scowled at the bear. Just because they had gotten used to the trials by now didn't make it any easier. They'd all met in the cafeteria. "On this floor you'll find the music room, the staff room, headmaster's office, the chemistry lab, and classrooms 4-B and 4-A. Do me a favor and don't blow yourself up, but feel free to blow others up! Hehe."
"How encouraging," Boo muttered. "That's just wonderful."
"Oh, and by the way, if you manage to get out of here, we can make you invincible," Monokuma smirked. "Okay! Ta-ta for now!"
"Why, that stupid bear!"
"Did he just say invincible!? How!?"

"Would you want to be invincible?" Kaira asked Saiko as they sat in the music room. Saiko had been determined to show that she could play the violin, only to fail miserably, which was quite amusing for Kaira to watch.
"Saiko thinks it'd be fun," Saiko shrugged, putting down the violin and picking up a trumpet. "How does this work...?"
"I see," Kaira said softly and looked away. "Why?"
"Why?" Saiko thought about it. "Why not? You live forever! Sounds great! What's not to like?"
"Saiko, that's immortality."
"Oh. So what's invincibility?" Saiko asked, confused. Without the blue hair dye she used, her blonde roots had began showing and she hated it.
"It's when you basically can't get hurt."
"Well, Saiko's not big on feeling pain," Saiko sighed, playing with her hair and staring at it distastefully. "So why not?"

"How you holding up?" Mario asked softly, sitting down next to Peach. The girl sighed, looking up at him.
"Better," Peach responded after a long pause. "It's not so hard anymore."
"That's good, that's good."
The two sat together in silence, just enjoying each other's company.
"Y'know, if I didn't like girls, this is the part when we would kiss," Peach remarked, attempting to make a joke. Mario laughed.
"Yeah. But you've really helped me, y'know. Through all this."
"Thanks," Peach smiled, glad she could bring someone happiness still. "I'm happy you're here too."
For Mario, it pained him to know that the girl he liked wasn't interested in him, but he respected their friendship and he was okay with it. He'd find someone just right for him.

"Wow!" Soleil stared at the chemistry lab, Sarah and Birdo beside her. "There's so much-!"
"She's gonna end up blowing herself up," Birdo sighed. "One hundred percent."
"Soleil, please be careful," Sarah warned, staying slightly behind the pink haired girl. "I don't want to be responsible for your death if you blow yourself up!"
"Then it wouldn't be your fault, it'd be mine," Soleil shrugged carelessly, searching through the chemicals, after putting on safety goggles. "Ooh, interesting.."
"Soleil, I really think we should get out of here!" Sarah said anxiously, looking around nervously. "I-"
"This will only go badly if Soleil is an idiot," Birdo told Sarah, annoyed by how easily the girl panicked. "Which means we might want to get the hell out of here."
"Whoa!!" Soleil screamed, causing Sarah to scream and shut her eyes. Soleil laughed, and the brunette opened her eyes and glared at the pink haired girl.
"That was not funny!" Sarah whined, glancing at Birdo who just stared at them. "That was-"
"Sorry, sorry," Soleil apologized, but her eyes still shone with amusement. "That was funny, though! Don't worry about me, Sarah, I took chemistry. I'll figure this all out."
"Ugh...fine."

"Rubi, Rubi, Rubi," Boo taunted as he ghosted through the wall, scaring the blonde as she shrieked and swung her racket at him. As expected, it just swung right through her. "Did you really expect that to work...? Aren't you excited that people accept you, even with your height?"
"Shut up," Rubi glared at the white translucent ghost, clutching her racket. "I am excited, do you have a problem with that? It's like ever since I came here, people respect me more, and I like that. Duh."
"As you should, as you should," Boo told her, grinning menacingly. "You know, Monokuma grants invincibility for this next murder. I have no use for it, but wouldn't you?"
"What?"
"You know... just in case the bullies come."
"Get the hell out of my room!" Rubi raged, swinging her racket again at the ghost, and it continued to just pass right through him, making him stare in disappointment at her. "Go! Out!"
"Fine, fine," Boo drawled, making his way out. "But you really should keep my words in mind."
Hey everyone! Hope you're all enjoying the book. As many of you noticed, some characters came back to life last chapter cause it was prewritten, my bad. They should be all fixed, but if you catch any more, let me know!
Who do you thinks going to kick the bucket next?
Who do YOU think the mastermind is?
Note: There will be two endings to this book.
Thanks for reading!
