Percy was pacing back and forth in front of his cabin.
"Calm down man! You got this!"
A curly haired kid from the Hermes cabin, Travis Stoll, said to a nervous son of Posiedon. Percy has had a crush on his friend, Annabeth, since they were 13. And he was going to ask her out, finally. (The kisses in the 4th and 5th book didnt happen and this is before HOO.)

"But what if she doesnt like me back?!" Panicks Percy.
Travis sighed. Dam, Percy was oblivious as hell. It was obvious that Annabeth liked him back, but Percy was too Dense to notice.

"How about this. If i ask out Katie, will you ask out Annabeth?" Bargained Travis. He knew Percy was too much of a chicken to accept the bet. Well, he was wrong.

"Fine!" Said Percy, brightening up. "Travis, ask out Katie so i know how to ask out Annabeth!"
Travis spat out the drink he was dirnking and looked at Percy.

"WAIT! YOU ACTUALLY ACCEPT?!" He practically screamed. Percy smirked.
"Yeah. Or are you too chicken?" He teased.

Travis growled. " i'm not chicken! Its just- i know she doesnt like me that way..." he said sadly. "Just try, man." Encouraged Percy.

"Fine..." sighed Travis. He walked up to the Demeter cabin and knocked on their door.
"Yeah? Oh, Travis." Said Katie. "This isnt one of your pranks, is it?" She questioned, glaring at the son of Hermes.
"No, no pranks." Replied Travis, looking at the ground with a slight blush. Katie noticed his blush and was confused. Travis never acted like this. She was a little confused to say the least, but decided to ignore the blush. "Hey, can you meet me at the strawberry fields after archery practice later?" Asked Travis, his blush growing slightly darker.

This made Katie even more confused. See, Katie has had a little crush on Travis since they met. It was love at first sight for her. Sure, Travis kept pranking her all the time, but Katie found it a little cute since Connor told her that Travis did this to get her attention, which she found adorable, but never knew why he wanted her attention.

"Umm... okay When?." Replied Katie with a slight blush of her own. "Um- in 2 hours- thanks!!" Travis burst into a grin and said goodbye before running to Percy to tell him how it was going so far.
