|Chapter One| You Can't Be Serious
Hey peeps, welcome to the second book of TUK series! If you aren't familiar with this series, I advise you go read the first book before you continue!
It's possibly been a while since you've read the first TUK, so I'll give you a small rerun of what happened in the last chapter.
"I'm going in." Aphmau says. Aaron's eyes widen and he pulls her away from the portal.
"Aphmau, we don't know where the portal leads! I can't lose you."
Aphmau turns around to face him. "I'm sorry, Aaron, but that's my papa. I'm going whether you come or not." She responds, looking back at the portal.
Aaron lets her go and sighs,
"After you."
Now that you're kinda caught up, let's jump into:
The Ultima King: Graeria Region
(Also I have a theme song for this series teeheehee!)

Aphmau prepares for landing, guiding herself away from the ground towards a a large pile of snow. She sits up and looks around at her surroundings. Of course Ein would pick snow.
Aaron falls a few feet behind her, "Aph?" He gets up and starts searches for her. "Aphmau!"
"Aaron, I'm over here." She responds. He notices that she has goosebumps so he unbutton his tux coat and wraps his arms around her.
"Of course it's snow." He purses his lips and looks back at Aphmau, "We'll look for the nearest village and we'll get you into better attire." He caresses her cheek."
"But I'm fine-"
He interrupts, "You're freezing cold. As soon as we find somewhere for you to seek shelter, we're getting you suited."
"Thank you, Aaron." She leans her head on his chest. Their moment is interrupted by a faint thud.
"Who's there?" He stands in front of Aphmau and puts his fists up. The figure bounces up and looks excited.
"You can't be serious." Aaron mumbles, "You can't be serious, Irene."
"Sir!" The figure runs up to Aaron and hugs him. "I saw you and this woman jump into the portal and I had to jump in after you." He explains.
"Blaze," Aaron sighs and places his hand on Blaze's shoulder. "Did anyone else follow you?"
"Well," Blaze chuckles. Two more figures came tumbling down and landed in the snow.
"Katelyn?! My Irene, Garroth?!" Aphmau rubs her eyes to make sure this isn't a dream. Katelyn climb out of the snow and hugs Aphmau. "You can't be serious."
"Are you okay?! You look horrible!" Katelyn exclaims, examining her face and feeling her forehead.
"Thanks for the compliment, I feel so much better." Aphmau sarcastically mumbles as Katelyn inspects her.
"She isn't used to the climate. None of us should be." Aaron wraps his arms around himself.
"So would you like to explain how you guys got here?" Aphmau asks.
"Gladly." Katelyn sits down next to Aphmau.
{Ten minutes ago}
"You are the absolute worst assistant if you can't even make your way around the castle." Katelyn insults as Blaze keeps looking around.
"It's not like I am an expert in directions." He sticks out his tongue. "I'd like to see you try finding them."
"With pleasure." She pushes past Blaze and finds an clear area.
"Isn't that them?" Katelyn points to Aphmau and Aaron in front of the portal.
"After you." Aaron says. Aphmau nods and backs up.
"Here I come, Dad." She says, charging at the portal and jumping in. Aaron doesn't waste time and he jumps in after her.
Katelyn gasps and faces Blaze, "We have to go in after them." Katelyn pulls on Blaze's arm and brings him towards the portal.
"What are you guys doing?" Garroth walks in on them.
"Come on." She pushes Blaze in.
"Ahhhhhh!" He yells and the portal starts to close. Before Katelyn could jump in, Garroth grabs her wrist.
"Are you crazy?!" He exclaims.
"Aphmau's in there! Now let me go so I can go in there!" She snarls, fighting to get out of his grip.
"I think you've had too much wine, Katelyn. I saw Aphmau inside a few minutes ago." He says.
"I'm sorry, Garroth." She apologizes.
"Huh?" She jumps in with Garroth holding onto her wrist.
{The Present}
Aphmau looks at Aaron, then Blaze, then Garroth holding his arm in pain, then Katelyn. "I-" She trails off when she notices it starts to get even colder.
"I don't know what the hell this place is, but if I were you, I'd be finding some shelter." Garroth suggests.
"You're right. Come on, guys."
~~~
"Come on, guys. Tighten the rope more." Ein orders as two men tightly rope around Zach's hands and feet.
"Ein, tell me what I did wrong." Zach says, struggling due to the tighten rope around him, "Tell me what I can fix in our relationship."
"What relationship?" Ein asks. "You never contacted me. I got to live a life of struggling until I became Alpha of the Eastern Wolf Tribe two years ago. My mother contacted you but you never answered. What could you possibly fix now?" He asks, crossing his arms waiting for an answer.
"I am willing to accept you into the family, like I told your mother 18 years ago." He says but Ein turns his back on him. Ein, I can be the father I wasn't."
Ein starts to laugh, "Of course you say that when you're kidnapped. Everyone will say anything to spare their lives." Ein walks closer to Zach. "Well let me tell you something. I'm the last person you should be telling lies to."
~~~
"You're lying." Aaron scoffs to the Inn Keeper.
"Listen buddy. Like I said before, I know nothing about a werewolf and a man walking here." The Inn Keeper responds. Aaron walks away, frustrated.
"Aaron, calm down." Aphmau places her hand on his arm, "He doesn't know. Give him a break."
He looks back at the Inn keeper and walk over to him, "I'm sorry about him over there. He's frustrated and he wants answers."
"Well, tell your boyfriend to not harass people who don't have the answers to your questions. I don't know where you come from, but that's considered rude here."
"But I have a question," She says. The Inn keeper rolls his eyes, "Where are we?"
He chokes on air and laughs, "Are you mental?" He continues to laugh.
"What is this place?" She asks again.
"Surmise Falls, the home of the largest snow fall in all of Graeria!" He exclaims.
"Graeria? Is that the region here?"
He smacks his lips at her, "You must be from
Arcria."
"No." Aphmau shakes her head.
"Plaina?"
"Never heard of it." Aaron butts in.
"Locrington?"
"That's a name?" Blaze asks, scratching the top fo his head. "How do you pronounce that again? Lock-cri-g-ton?"
"Blaze, shut up." Katelyn stops him.
".... You're not from Lucrua, are you?"
"What the hell- listen man." Aaron says, "Can we get a few rooms for the night?" He places a bag of coins on the counter.
The Inn keeper opens it and gasps, "You have to be a king of some sort to have this kind of change." He inspects every single one of them.
"Give me a room while you're at it." A man interrupts them. The group turns around to see a man with black hair, blue eyes and place skin wearing a black cloak.
"I don't serve criminals." The Inn keeper says.
"If you can serve outsiders who don't even know basic logic of the world," He walks over to Aphmau and towers over her, "You can serve me."
His thumb brushes against her cheek, "Especially beautiful ones." Aaron smacks his hand off of Aphmau.
"Get your hands off of her or-"
"Or what? You'll scratch me?" He laughs.
"Just keep your filthy hands to yourself, bud." Aaron growls and pulls Aphmau towards him, wrapping an arm around her.
He tucks his hands into his pocket, "No promises." He winks at Aphmau. "I'll be back soon mate." He pushes the door open with his shoulders and walks off.
"Rooms 4, 7, and 15." He gives the keys to Aaron. Katelyn notices Aaron's arm around Aphmau and grows curious.
"Can I speak to you, Aph?"
