"Nooooo.... Borutoooooo" Hinata woke up from a nightmare.

Naruto comforted her. "It's just a dream Hinata."

"I dreamed Boruto is now possessed by Orochimaru." she cried.

"That's not true. We talked to him on a video call earlier, Boruto looked totally fine. Sasuke also called Karin to confirm, she said Boruto and Kasai successfully defeated Orochimaru." Naruto appeased her.

"I can't help having some kind of a premonition, I felt as if something bad happened to our son. I can't wait to go see him for myself." she said emotional.

"Me too. I want to see Boruto personally. But all entry and exit to that country is banned due to the spreading corona virus. Don't worry as soon as possible we would go to that place with Sasuke and Sakura." he said. "So let's just trust what our son said online."

"I know I should trust our son... but to be honest I just can't believe how they defeated a formidable foe. Can Orochimaru be defeated that easily?" Hinata muttered.

"I feel the same way Hinata. I am also doubting.. But for now,  let's just trust our son. But also prepare ourselves for the worst." Naruto asserted.

At Fox's house
.

"Boruto... don't.. " Sarada mumbled and cried while sleeping.

"Wake up Sarada..  wake up.. it's just a dream." Fox shook her. 

"It's a bad dream." she told him catching her breath.

"I know. You won't be crying if it was a wet dream." He joked.

She pushed him away. "Baka! how could you joke around in my situation?"

"Chill sis.. You're too serious. " He wiped her sweat on the forehead.

"Stop it." Sarada blocked his hand off her forehead.

"Ok.. Ok.. I'm sorry sis.. I know you missed your boyfriend." he raised his hand away from her.

"He is not just my boyfriend. He is my fiance." she snapped.

"Ok fine. Tomorrow I promise I'll  let you contact your family." he pledged.

"REALLY?!" Sarada smiled like a little child.

"Yes. So go back to sleep now."  Fox grinned.

(The following day)

Fox and Sarada were having breakfast when the  door bell rang. They were surprised as they never called anything for delivery.

"That's something weird sis. Wait here and I will check." Fox went to see whose outside discreetly.

"There's a registered mail for you sir!" The mailman shouted.

"Wheew... Just a mail... Why was I so paranoid?" He talked to himself as he opened the door.

But as soon as he made a step outside, Boruto knocked him out and he fell off the floor unconscious.

Boruto went inside the house
"Sarada, Where are you?"

Sarada was surprised to hear Boruto's voice. She stood up from the dining and went to meet her fiance. "Boruto is that you?"

"Yes!" He hugged her and kissed her.

Sarada was stunned and was confused so she break off from his kiss.

"B-boruto, I don't understand. How did -- you -- find -- me?" She asked doubting if she's just dreaming or hallucinating.

"I have been looking for you like crazy for years! And now I found you. Why would you ask that stupid question? Aren't you happy at all?" He blurted a little annoyed with her reaction.

"No, no.. I am happy.. I just can't believe it's you. I know it's you, but I --- I don't feel like it's you Boruto. I'm sorry... " She responded.

"Wait you can see now?" Boruto waved his hand inches from her eyes.

"Yes, uncle Izuki gave me his eyes." She said sadly.

"Really? Oh come here... It was too long ago since we last held each other. And now we see each other." Boruto hugged her again. He thought Can she sense I am not really Boruto? I have to act more intimate, more like a fiance.

She hugged him back but her mind is racing. What is happening to me? Yesterday I  said I missed him and now that he is here... I don't feel happy at all. It seems like he is here but it's also like he is not here. He feels like a different person. Or could it be just because we've been apart for three years. Maybe I was just feeling awkward.

Boruto cupped her face and spoke softly and sweetly. "Hey, what are you thinking right now? You don't look okay."

"N-nothing really." She made a fake smile.

"Well then let's go home." Kasai interrupted them and smiled as she entered the house. "What are you two waiting for? We can't wait for that boy to wake up right?"

"Sis, is that you?" Sarada asked.

"Yeah it's me Sarada." Kasai replied hugging her but making an eye signal to Boruto suggesting to leave.

Sarada hugged back awkwardly. 

"We finally rescued you sis. And what a surprise you can see me again." Kasai pokes her forehead.

She wiped her forehead and was more confused why Kasai would act like nothing bad happened between them in the past.

Why is she here? I thought she framed me for a crime I didn't commit. What about what happened to 1/3 of the people who died from her experiment. Was Fox lying to me? Did he just made up stories so I will stay with him? What is the truth? Wait where is Fox?

Sarada made a fake smile to Kasai and asked. "What happened to Fox?"

"So that boy is Fox. We didn't kill him. He was just unconscious right now. I just chained him just in case he wakes up." She replied.

"Why do you care about him Sarada?" Boruto asked annoyed. "Per investigation he kidnapped you and he didn't return you to us."

"It's a Stockholm Syndrome Boruto. The one kidnapped will possibly sympathize with the kidnapper if they'd been together for a long time. She might possibly love him now too." Kasai added.

"Is it true Sarada, that you love him now? Is that why you don't seem happy to see me?" Boruto asked.

"No. I don't love him. It's just that he saved me and took care of me. He didn't kidnap me. He was good to me" Sarada defended Fox.

Why am I lying for Fox's sake? He kidnapped me. He is keeping me hostage. So why am I saying he didn't? Boruto is my fiance. Why did I lie to him as if I don't trust him? Why do I feel distant to him right now? She thought with guilt.

She felt sorry seeing Fox unconscious and chained on the floor. She treated him silently and transfered some chakra to him.

"What are you doing Sarada? I don't understand you." Boruto grasp her hand tight in anger.

Sarada was stunned with Boruto's wild reaction. He had always been gentle to me.. Why is he acting strange? He is hurting me with his tight grip.

"Let me go Boruto. You are hurting me." Sarada whined.

Boruto was even more angry from her resistance. He was going to pull her away from Fox when he felt ice creeping on his body and he can't move. He looked at Kasai for help but she was also in the same situation.

"Fox stop it!" Sarada begged him.

"Stop? He hurt you sis. He hurt me too. I'm gonna freeze them to death!" Fox said with bloodlust.
