Kasai was in deep anger when she saw how Sarada could use the Hyuga clan's jutsu. She had loved Boruto and dreamt of being part of the Hyuga clan by becoming his wife.

Kasai thought bitterly. Sarada had everything now. She had papa Sasuke and she also had Boruto. While I have nothing -- I have no one. No one loves me but my mama.

She thought it is no longer play time. She was done playing shuriken with Sarada.

Engrossed with envy, she activated her mangekyo and casted amaterasu.

"I hate you Sarada! " she shouted.

Sarada sensed a sudden change in Kasai's chakra. She believed she has now activated her mangekyo. This was how she felt when Sasuke used his mangekyo to throw amaterasu to her during training.

She knew how dangerous this was if she would make a mistake. She had to defend herself. But she desperately needs help. Boruto had always been there for her to help her. But he's asleep and in pain too.

God please send  someone to rescue me.  she prayed in desperation.

She felt the serious danger she's in to. She concentrated her chakra on her fist and applied brute force to break the ground like how Sakura taught her.

"Stop this Kasai! "

Kasai and the two men jumped backwards away from her.

She then kicked and punched big blocks of earth towards Kasai's direction to cover herself from the flying black flame of amaterasu.

She succeeded in avoiding the big fire. But a little of Kasai's black flame had hit her left arm. It slowly burnt Sarada's left arm.

"Kasai! Are you happy now, sister?" Sarada cried in agony. 

Sarada felt the excruciating pain of being burnt. She tried to cut her sleeves to reduce fire impact on her arm. But some cotton cloth had already stuck to her skin. She is now experiencing third degree burn.

"How was it sister?" Kasai just watched her in agony.
"I felt that pain too." She smirked.

Sarada pleaded. "I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you then. You were the one who hurt me first."

"Remember you used to have this eye? This eye which yielded the power of amaterasu..." she made a deep breath as she cannot contain her anger.

"Yes those were my eyes. You stole them from me. Aren't you satisfied with it? Do you still want my life?" Sarada wept. The flame had been creeping her arm's veins. Slowly penetrating her muscles. "Aggghhh"

"Do you feel it, sister? You don't know how I really suffered in my heart. Your pain were just topical. My pain penetrates through my soul." She said in defiance.

"I never wanted you to be in pain Kasai. I never knew you were suffering." Sarada said.

"Stop the drama. Now, taste the power of your eyes that are now mine!" She casted amaterasu for the second time knowing this can greatly affect her too.

But her hatred is unquenchable like the fire of amaterasu.

As Kasai was saying these, Baku was disturbed by the thought that she was hurting her own sister in this manner.

He cannot bear to see the evil in the eyes of Kasai because he had secretly loved her for three years.

He had loved how Kasai had been so disciplined in training and how well driven she was.

He loved her for not looking down on all of the guards. Kasai had been treating them all as decent humans. Even if they were of lowly birth.

He had always known Kasai to be bubbly and accomodating to all. But strict to herself and focused on her ambition.

He loved her secretly...
He was hurt by how hurt Kasai looked even if she had tried to kill her sister.

He cannot bear to looked at Kasai's anger and pain anymore.

So he hugged Sarada to protect her. But in his heart he did it for Kasai not to murder her own sister.
His back was hit with the black flame. And he cried as he felt the pain of being slowly burnt. He turned to face Kasai and knelt to the ground. "K-Kasai. Please stop it."

Kasai was shocked to see what Baku did.

"B-Baku. How could you protect her? You were my friend. I never treated you as a guard. How could you betray me like this?" Kasai cried as she saw Baku suffered from the fire she threw for Sarada.

"I have treasured you. But why?" Kasai asked angrily as she could not understand him.

She remembered how they had been together in training. He was special to her because he always made her laugh. She remembered how he was always trying hard in making her feel happy when she's down.

"For three years, you always cared for me... always  at my side. You are my dear friend... I told you all my pain and bitterness in life. And you also shared your pain to me,  So how could you protect Sarada?" She cried bitterly.

Baku felt he was almost dying. He thought this is the last day of his life. He mustered his courage as he answered Kasai's question.

"It's because I love you. Kasai. I secretly loved you for three years." He looked at Kasai in the eyes.

"I have no regret dying from your fire. If it means saving you from murdering your own sister... I don't want you to feel the regret and burden that I felt when I killed my own brother too."

He reminisced how he killed his own brother for survival when they had been training as part of the graduation test to become the hidden mist swordsman.

"B-aku.. "

Kasai couldn't bear to see her friend suffering from the unquenchable fire. She calmed down and cancelled the jutsu. The black flame died down. Baku was released from amaterasu as well as the left arm of Sarada.

Kasai cried bitterly as she embraced her friend. "I am sorry Baku."

Baku felt he is losing his life. He cried too, for he does not want to leave her. He kissed her goodbye and leaned on her arms. "I-It's alright Kasai. I-I am happy to die in your arms."

Kasai tried to gather chakra to heal his burns. But she exhausted too much chakra as she casted the amaterasu twice.

She felt the negative effect of using amaterasu. Her limit is still up to two times like her uncle Itachi.

Kasai felt hopeless and regretted what happened to her friend.

Sarada walked near them, she knelt beside them and offered help.
" Thank you for saving me. I can cure you in return."

She made hand sign and opened her byakogou seal. She released her stored chakra from her forehead just like that of Tsunade and Sakura who had the byakogou. Sarada executed creation rebirth technique to heal her burnt arm and Baku's burnt body and ailing heart.

She transferred immense amount of chakra to Baku and treated him.

"His heart has recovered its normal beat and he his now stable." Sarada told Kasai.

"Thank you." Kasai said and was grateful that he survived.
