(After three years)

Sarada had been training everyday for three years. Aside from the academy, she had also received special training from Sasuke, Lee, Sakura, Hinata  and even her uncle Izuki.

She had mastered all the jutsus taught to her including the medical ninjutsu. She had become the only blind ninja in Konoha.

This is the first time she will be on S-rank mission with Boruto and Neko. They will get intel from the hidden mist. There had been a threat on the creation a weapon of massive destruction. They will confirm the rumors.

"Why would you need to carry me like a pet and make me wear this girly ribbon? I look like a weakling kitty Sara-chan." Neko whined.

"Kitty, you know, Boruto and me are disguising like a newly wed couple here and you are my cute pet." Sarada smiled teasing Neko. 

"Nya.. you abuse my kindness to you Sara-chan. I shouldn't have told you I like your father." Neko pouts while Sarada pets her.

Boruto and Sarada both laughed at Neko's complaints and how cute she looks.

"Hey kitty you're so cute like a real pet. " Boruto pats her head.

"We can't let anyone know we are ninjas right? I am also good at acting you know." Neko boasted and smiled. 

After being Sarada's eyes for three years, she'd changed from being grumpy to a happy and smiling cat.  They'd become best of friends fighting and training together. She also came to like Sarada for real now.

They were traversing the mountains near the hidden mist territory when Sarada heard a distinct vibration. She signalled for Boruto and Neko to stop.

Boruto immediately activated his right eye and saw the enemies chakra. "We have enemies. Their chakra seemed like they want to fight." 

So Sarada and Neko prepared for battle.

"Hahaha... you're fast." Said the enemy leader. "Well, this is your final destination."

His two comrades went out from hiding facing them.

"You take care of the girl and her cat. I will handle this boy. He looked stronger for you to handle" He instructed them.

The mist was thickened. Preventing them from seeing the enemies.  

"Are they are the hidden mist rebels?" Neko asked and jumps in front of Sarada to protect her.

"I can't be sure kitty, but let's get this over with fast." Sarada replied and position herself to fight back to back with Boruto.

When the leader had started to cast his mist jutsu, Boruto used his eyes to locate them. "They're at 3 o'clock."

"I know. I could hear them." Sarada replied. Her very sensitive hearing ability allowed her to hear the seismic vibrations from the enemies' movements.

"Yeah I can smell them too. They stink! What a team we are, Boruto with his eyes, Sarada with her ears, and I with my nose... this mist is useless, we can easily locate them and end this fight no sweat." Neko made a boastful joke.

"Don't be conceited Neko. We don't know their abilities yet." Sarada scolded her.

"The enemies are protected with some pea-size violet droplets  surrounding their bodies. They are wearing goggles protecting their eyes." Boruto reported his observation using his eyes. 

"Why would they wear goggles?" Sarada whispers.

But their chitchat was stopped when the leader charged at Boruto with his sword. 

"Sarada, Neko it's poison droplets. My eyes are blinded. aaaggghhhh..." Boruto shouted as he clashed his sword with the enemy. 

"Well lucky you Sarada, you're blind, you have no eyes to be poisoned." Neko grinned like she usually do before and after fighting.

"Haha.. Thanks for bringing that up kitty." Sarada smirked.

She felt the cold mist getting thicker and heard the movement of  their enemies.

She realized Boruto was 10 meters away from her. Sword fighting with one man. She felt the two men coming near them.

Neko transformed into a lion and fought with the one enemy who surprisingly has transformed also from being so thin into a big masculine giant, just like the ability of the Akimichi clan. "Yah Sara-chan this is not an easy enemy. He is huge and ---." before she could finish talking, the enemy knocked Neko down with a strong punch.

Sarada heard Neko flew from a strong punch of the enemy. Damn Neko is down.

She concentrated her chakra on her fist, remembering what her mom taught her, she does the Sakura punch to the enemy and he flew meters away fully knocked down. He transformed back to being thin before he collapsed.

"Hah! So you are strong. What a drag...I can't be defeated by a mere girl. " He whined.  I shouldn't get near her. Her hands are too powerful.  He threw many poisoned shurikens to Sarada and stayed away from her, increasing the mist's thickness.

Sarada threw shurikens to counter the shurikens coming to her. Some of her shurikens clashed with the enemies shurikens then she dodged from all the others.

"Wow you're good!" the enemy complimented her. I need to protect myself. I can't be complacent. He increased the poison droplets protecting his body. She will be blinded if she gets near me. 

As the protective poison droplets increased,  the enemy float.  This made him difficult for Sarada to locate. She cannot anymore hear the seismic vibration of his feet since he was floating.

Sarada cannot sense what he was doing and where he is. I just have to attack and defend from all around me.

She made chidori using her chakra. She cut the chidori into needle-size... Remembering what Hinata taught her, she used the protective 8-trigram 64-palm to throw from her hands the needle-like chidori hitting the poison droplets surrounding the enemy's body.

(The protective  8-trigram 64-palm allowed Hinata to even hit little insects using her byakugan. But Sarada mastered this jutsu using her ears to hit the targets.)

As some of the poison droplets were pricked through with chidori needles. Electricity from chidori was conducted through the droplets and electrified her enemy. Huh. That was close.  She thought.

Meanwhile, Boruto suffered from blindness as his eyes felt the effect of the poison droplets in the mist.

"Sarada, my eyes sored. I can't open even my eyes now. aarrggghhh" Boruto shouted again.

"Hahaha.. well of course! You are under my blinding mist jutsu." The leader cut Boruto with his sword and his stomach bled.

"You are finished!" He tried to thrust Boruto with his sword. But Sarada came quickly to his rescue.

She cut his hand using her lightning blade.

"Aaaggghhhhh....." he shouted and knelt as he felt extreme pain. "H-how did you see me? H-how did you know I am here? N-nobody has ever maneuvered through my poison mist."

The mist disappeared. He saw his two comrades defeated. One was knocked down and badly bruised while the other one was still shaking from the electricity of her chidori charged to the poison droplets.

He was terrified by what he saw. "W-what did you do to them? H-how did you escape from the blinding poison?"

"Simple, I am blind to begin with." Sarada replied.

"A b-blind kunoichi?" He collapsed from losing too much blood.
