Seth pov:
The first thing I hear as I walk in to my house is "Seth!" I look up only to be tackled by my little sister Madison. "Hey there munchkin."

"I missed you." She said sweetly. "I missed you too." I got up and gave her one more hug before going over to my mom and hugging her. "Hey mom I missed you, and I have a surprise to tell you and dad at dinner." "Ok, your father is in his study and wants to see you."

I give her one more hug waving to pack members on my way up. I knocked on my dads door. "Come in." I walk in. "Oh, Seth welcome back how is alpha training going." "Great I ranked second." "Thanks great who is first."

"Um...a girl named Kylie." "What you got beat by a girl?" "No dad you don't understand, she's amazing and could beat everyone at the camp with ease." "Ok, what pack is she from?"

"I don't know. When she came in they didn't announce her for some reason." I said. "Oh, ok the real reason I called you up to my study is I don't know what we are going to do about the shadow pack." He said with a serious look on his face.

"What's wrong I thought we had an alliance?" "We do but with his son coming of age I bet he's laying low and at alpha training."

I nod my head "I'll look around and see if there is anyone I don't remember." "Also I have sometime important to announce at dinner tonight." He just nods his head and gets back to work
----------------------At Dinner---------------------
After a fun day with Madison it was finally time for dinner. I can't wait to see the look on my mom's face when I tell her about my mate.

My whole family was seated at the table. I tapped my fork to my glass I said "I have an announcement." I could tell everyone was on the edge of their seat so I told them "I found my mate and she is the number one alpha at alpha training!"

My mom let out a shriek of delight. My sister came over and gave me a huge hug my mom not far behind. I hugged them back. "Oh I'm so happy, what pack is she from!?" She asked.

I gave a shy smile and said "um...I don't know." I looked up at her only to get a smack on my head "Ow what was that for!" I exclaimed

"That was for being stupid and not finding out more about her." I looked down embarrassed. "Don't worry I plan on bringing her back with me after alpha training finishes.

"I bet she's telling her family right now"
---------------------Kylie House-------------------
Kylie pov:
I took a deep breath and walked into my house. I was greeted with silence. I had friends, but my dad probably told them to stay away. I headed up to my room and set my stuff down.

I went over to my dresser and grabbed the locket with a picture of my mom in it. I let a single tear fall from my eye before putting in back.
-----------------------Memory---------------------
I was in a beautiful patch of flowers with my mommy and daddy. My mommy and daddy were sitting next to each other laughing.

This was a long time ago. A time when my daddy was still loving and kind. I jumped of my swing to go gather some flowers for mommy.

After grabbing a bunch of daisies I went over to my mom and said "Mommy these are for you." She grabbed them from me and plucked one out of the bunch.

She put it behind me ear and kissed my forehead. Then it happened tons of rogues ran out of the forest and attacked.

My dad yelled for all pack members. He shifted into his wolf and so did my mom. My mom ran over to me and motioned for me to get on her back. I jumped on and held on tight.

She took me to a small den. Only I could fit in it. I tried to grab her and take her in with me but she shook her head and said something I will always remember "You will be a strong alpha female and you will do great things, I will always love you and I will watch over you forever."

Then she ran. A couple minutes later I saw rogues run past me in the direction of my mom and I knew that they were going to catch her.

From that point on my dad took his anger out on me and the pack and the loving father I once knew was gone.
------------------Back In Present-----------------
I heard someone calling my name so I snapped out of my memory. My father's maid Dylan and also one of my few friends said, "Come your father wants to see you."

I nodded my head and walked towards his office. I took a deep breath and knocked on his door. I heard the voice that haunts my nightmare yell, "Come in." I slowly entered and took a seat in front of his desk with my head down.

I learned never to look him in the eyes and never talk before he does. "I trust you are first in you training class." "Yes sir, I have not lost anything and set the new obstacle course record." I was still looking down out of fear.

He just gave a small nod of his head and said, "Keep it up if I hear that you lose you will feel so much pain." "Yes sir." "Get out."

I quickly scurry off to my room. I know I won't be eating anytime soon so I take out a a small bar that I stole from the cafeteria. This is going to be a long two weeks was my last though before I drifted off to sleep.
