Given to me a blink of time

a flutter on the face of the universe

a hiccough in eternity

but 'tis MY moment in Time.

My moment, my life

mine to live and see

to grasp, know and feel

to witness life and experience death.

Time blinks and I cease to be

all the pain and fear

every fleeting joy, gone 

swept o'er the falls into Forever. 

The blink that was my life

my fleeting hour of woe

my fluttering smile

gone, swallowed by oblivious Time.
