We reached the pack house in time to see Elijah run up to us. He ran to me and hugged me close to him.

"I'm fine son." I murmured leaning down to kiss his head.

"Uncle Aiden is here to see you." He murmured. I stilled. Why would my second oldest brother be here? Shouldn't he be helping Alex run the pack?

I rumbled lowly a bit as Adrian raised an eyebrow at me which I shrugged it off and marched into the kitchen. I saw Aiden chatting with Kai about stuff.

"Little sister. I'm so glad to see you." Aiden said rising to greet me he came over to hug me but I put my fist out on his chest to stop him.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be running the pack with Alex?" I growled. Aiden growled back at me. Which caused Adrian to give a warning growl to him.

"Welp.... I'm outta here." Kai said as he muttered strings of curses as he walked out putting his hands in surrender as Adrian growled at him.

"Look, little sister. I know father hasn't been the best man to us right now. Ever since mom died everything's been pretty rough around the edges at home. We need all of us there to help the pack." Aiden said removing my hand from his chest.

"I'm not going back to that hell hole. You know what our father did to us!" I snapped angrily at him.

"Aleesia please," Aiden begged.

"No."

Aiden groaned as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Why does my mom have to go back there? She doesn't belong there." Elijah snapped at his uncle which made Aiden snap his eyes towards my son.

"You have a son?" Aiden asked a little appalled that he was standing there. Ever since my father paired me with Zeon, he would've never let me leave the house unless I begged for permission to leave it. I was locked up. I wasn't even able to see Alyssa. And we had a home birth which is why none of my family members knew about them. My pups. My eyes went a little glassy.

"Yes.." I whispered softly. I hugged myself as if to keep barriers away from everyone. As if that'll keep me safe.

Aiden's breath hitched in his throat as he looked over my pup.

"Mommy!!! Your back!!!!" I hear Caddy's high pitched squeal run into the room and tackle me. Which I laughed at. I picked her up and placed her on my shoulder.

"You looked like you had some fun with Elijah eh?" I chuckled as I kissed her nose.

"Yes! Elijah was a little grumpy face when I put bows in his hair." Caddy giggled as Elijah muttered strings of curses which I smacked the back of his head for. Which he glared at me.

"Aleesia." Aiden cleared his throat as he looked at me and Caddy and then Elijah.

I sighed a little. And looked at Adrian who was watching the scene with interest.
"Adrian, is there a place me and Aiden can speak privately? It's family matters." I murmured as I set Caddy down.

"Of course. You can use my office. I'll watch your pups for you Aleesia." Adrian said The way my name rolled off his tongue made me shiver a little and my wolf purred at our mate. Which I groaned inwardly. I trotted after my brother and we headed off to Adrian's office.

"How do you know where everything is Aiden?" I asked suspiciously

"I've been here on beta duty once or twice," Aiden said I nodded. Once we arrived at his office I shut the door behind me as Aiden walked towards the window admiring the view.

"What do you want to know Aiden? Because I sure as hell ain't going back to that hell hole." I growled.

"I want to know why I haven't seen my little sister in like four years?" Aiden said spinning around to face me. His eyes had a fire in them. Like he did when he was younger. Like he knew he was determined to bring me back home where I belong.

"Aiden... you know why! Father paired me with another man that was not my mate because he thought it was best for me. Because I was the only one in the family that hasn't found a mate! But now I have." I said

"He thought he was doing the right thing by pairing you with Zeon. You know that. It was to keep you safe. But I want to know what happened little sister. Because one day he found that you and his pups were missing and that he couldn't find you anywhere. He truly looked worried little sister." Aiden said coming towards me.

"Well, his worried face is a lie. He doesn't give a damn about me or my pups. My pups don't belong to him anymore. He hurt us too much." I growled

Aiden raised an eyebrow at why I don't give a damn about the man who was my husband.

"He hurt you?" Aiden growled out

"With everything he got. He even hurt Elijah when he could... he whipped me and him. Kept us locked in. Elijah had to be homeschooled because of it. My pups never got to see the light of day because we were always locked up in that damned house." I growled out.

Aiden stilled and I could see steam rising off of him. His wolf was angry and wanting to be let out to hurt anyone who harmed their family. I took a step towards him. I would not back away from him. He was my brother.

"He whipped you?! WHY?" Aiden shouted. His loud growls vibrated across the house. His blood hummed and he was so close to shifting.

"Aiden please calm down!" I begged him.

"Tell me little sister or I will hope to the goddess above that any man who dare hurt you will regret it." Aiden snarled.

"Please, Aiden just calm down!" I begged again I stepped towards him again.

"Aleesia. Please don't take another step. You'll get hurt." Aiden growled. Just in time for the door to throw open to show Kai and Adrian.

"Aleesia! Get away from him!" Adrian growled out.

"No! He's my brother just leave!" I growled back. Glaring at him.

I stepped closer this time so that I was nose to nose with him. I but both of my hands on his face.

" I'll tell you Aiden. Just please... calm down." I said looking at him with pleading eyes. I could feel my mate's eyes on my head I could feel his anger as well at me touching another male. The tension in this room was suffocating me, but I would pull through to him. My big brother.

"Aiden, please. Calm deep breaths." I murmured cupping my brothers face between my hands. His dark eyes started to fade back to his beautiful blue ones.

"You sure everything's alright in here now?" Adrian growled out as my brother soon calmed down.

"Yes. We're fine." I sighed out. I let my hands slide off of his face after he calmed. Aiden leaned back against Adrian's desk. Once they left. We were alone again.

"I'm sorry for lashing out at you Sia. But I just hate hearing about you getting harmed... if only I'd done something to stop our father. He's not the best man right now." Aiden muttered.

"No shit?" I said. Aiden hissed out at me, not in the playful mood.

"Aleesia you don't know how dangerous it is for you to be here. You're not safe anywhere. You can't hide forever Sia." He said.

"Then what am I supposed to do? Go back to that hell hole?! No way in hell. I was the one that was treated badly there. None of you were. Dad didn't give a fucking shit about me which he so fucking showed me by sending me to another man and I have two children now! They are the only ones that are making me stay alive. If it weren't for Elijah and Caddy... I probably would've killed myself. I love them to death and I would never leave them. For anything." I growled out.

"I know Sia.. but please. Come home for Alyssa. She's devastated without you." He murmured

I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed out. "How many times do I have to say it Aiden? I'm not going back there and for fuck's sake don't even try and force me into going back there. You know how much I hate that place."

"Fine. I'll give you until tomorrow. If you change your mind I will take you back Aleesia. Otherwise, Alyssa's coming here." Aiden said.

My eyes widened at my twins name. "Don't you fucking dare bring her in this mess! She doesn't deserve that!" I yelled at him.

"Aleesia! If anyone can persuade you it's her! Our father is fucked up right now. And it's making the pack worse and I can't do anything about it because I wasn't meant to be alpha! " Aiden snapped.

" What are you talking about not meant to be alpha?" I asked

" What I mean was that our family has a long line of twins being born into the family. Whichever twin was born first on the same day that they were born is meant to be alpha."
