Nineteen.
Baekhyun straddled Chanyeol's lap as he slowly kissed him, his hands threading through his hair. Chanyeol's own hands firmly yet gently clasped his waist, teasing at the hemline of his shirt and bunching it up as his hands roamed up the length of his bare back.
Baekhyun moaned softly and his kiss turned more insistent as Chanyeol's grip tightened on his waist. Baekhyun sighed and breathed, "Chanyeol! Mmm!"
Chanyeol groaned and grabbed Baekhyun's waist, flipping him onto his back as his hands began to push his shirt up. Chanyeol kissed along his abdomen as his fingers traveled the length of his sides. Baekhyun softly hummed and arched his back as his hands drifted down to fiddle with Chanyeol's zipper. He kissed him and began to upzip his pants just when Chanyeol felt his phone buzz in his back pocket. He ignored it until it started buzzing again.
Baekhyun broke apart their kiss and breathlessly muttered, "Chanyeol? Maybe you should answer it?"
"It could be nothing," Chanyeol replied.
"Or it could be something," Baekhyun challenged. "Just answer it. We weren't going to get to third base anyway . . ." Baekhyun trailed off as he reached around to pull out Chanyeol's phone from his pocket before passing it to him.
Chanyeol arched an eyebrow and asked, "Really? We weren't?" he challenged.
Baekhyun laughed and muttered, "Not here anyway...."
Chanyeol grinned and quickly kissed Baekhyun's mouth before clicking onto the call. "Hello?" he asked.
"Chanyeol?" asked a woman's voice.
Chanyeol's eyes widened and he gasped, "Yoora?"
"Yoora?" Baekhyun mouthed. "Your sister?"
Chanyeol nodded and Baekhyun nodded too before slipping out from beneath him, going somewhere else to give them privacy.
"Chanyeol! Oh my gosh! I heard about mom! I've been out of cell reach and I just got the messages. Where are you? School? I'm going to pull you out so we can have lunch and talk."
"Wait! Yoora! I'm not . . . I'm not at school," Chanyeol muttered with a cringe.
"Your not? Oh my gosh! Are you in the hospital?"
"No. I'm—-I'm with a friend. We're . . . ditching," Chanyeol sheepishly muttered.
"Ditching! Park Chanyeol!"
"Yoora! Please, stop. I had too."
"Who are you with?" Yoora demanded.
"A friend," Chanyeol replied.
"You already said that Chanyeol. Now tell me. Who are you with? They better not be a random
fu—-"
"It's Baekhyun!" Chanyeol blurted.
Yoora was silent for a moment before she quietly asked, "You mean the Byun's son? That Baekhyun?"
Chanyeol sighed. "Yes."
"When did that happen?" Yoora asked.
"A few weeks ago," Chanyeol muttered.
"Does he know?"
"Yes."
Yoora sighed. "Oh Chanyeol, I'm so sorry."
"It's okay," Chanyeol smiled. "I couldn't hide it forever . . ."
"Is he okay?"
"He's staying with me," Chanyeol muttered.
"As what?"
"We haven't labeled it."
"What do you want it to be?"
Chanyeol sighed. "It's selfish."
"Do you love him?"
"More than anything, Yoora."
"And? Does he know?"
"Yes. He loves me too," Chanyeol whispered.
"Then I don't understand. How is it selfish?" Yoora asked.
"Because I'm dying more everyday and he deserves better," Chanyeol softly muttered. "He deserves someone he can spend forever with. And we know that won't be me . . . Besides, he has a boyfriend."
"Why does this story feel complicated?" Yoora asked.
Chanyeol sighed. "It's not. They had a fight and may or may not have broken up."
"Uh-huh? Why do I detect a hint of regret in your voice, Chanyeol?" Yoora asked suspiciously.
Chanyeol sighed. "Because it's my fault. Now. Do you want to meet or not?" Chanyeol asked.
Yoora sighed too. "Yeah. Meet me at the usual place," she said before hanging up.
Chanyeol sighed and clicked his phone off before slipping it back into his pocket. He exhaled heavily and stood up as he walked towards Baekhyun, who was kneeling on the picnic blanket as he grabbed for the basket before neatly folding the blanket and tucking it beneath his arm. He stood up and noticed Chanyeol watching him.
His smile was small as he softly muttered, "Is everything okay?"
Chanyeol nodded and reached out for the picnic blanket as he muttered, "Yeah. Everything's good. Yoora wants to meet me . . ." Chanyeol trailed off.
Baekhyun nodded with a small furrow between his brow as he muttered, "And?"
Chanyeol sighed. "And . . . I'd like you to come with me, if you don't mind," Chanyeol mumbled.
Baekhyun smiled and tentatively reached out for Chanyeol's hand, holding onto him gently as he glanced up to meet Chanyeol's gaze and softly replied, "Okay. I'll come with you."
Because I'd follow you anywhere . . . Baekhyun thought.
Chanyeol smiled and lifted their joined hands to caress Baekhyun's cheek with the back of his hand. He leaned forward to kiss his forehead and softly muttered against his skin, "Thank you, Baek."
I love you.
Baekhyun smiled and nodded. "Of course, Chan."
I'd do anything for you.
